This is a great store, always comparable prices to other warehouse type grocery stores and when the lines get long they're quick to open new lanes to get everyone served.

Fruit has been rotten many times or when it's ripe, it's bad because the fruit is picked too soon. I usually just buy fruit here because it's priced right.. but since the food hasn't been very satisfying, I've been shopping elsewhere. When the fruit is good, I will definitely go back! The place is just not friendly

The staff here is great! Produce is fresh and lasts when stored properly. Lots of options in the meat, cheese, and beer sections. They have money gram and smokes if that's your need.

Foodmaxx doesn't have eye appeal. Looks more like a warehouse than a supermarket. But, that's what you have to do if you want to keep your cost down. This isn't a store for snobs. Prices are reasonable and the advertised specials are worth the effort. I stock up when it's a really good deal.

Edit to update: Clearly feedback doesn’t make a difference. This store layout does not leave room for individual lines behind registers. They don’t have enough cashiers to keep one line within each register without blocking the entire front of the store. I’ve mentioned it every time because every time there are customers that fight over it. There is one long line down the center of store but people just assume that is for the register to the left so they cut around and it obviously pisses every other patient customer off. What’s worse is that the cashiers defend it, stating we can line up at any register. HOW? How exactly do 20 people individually line up at 2 registers with only 10 feet of standing space and carts that are about 3 feet long. Make it make sense, seriously. Won’t be shopping here again.Original: Would it be so hard to just put up signage to direct the line for checkout? It’s an arguing point between customers every single time that I shop here. Anyone can visibly see the irritation, often outright anger, of every person in line and the cashiers.

The employees are hardworking people, not their fault. But we really need more registers open in the evenings. I avoid this store because of the long lines and only one register open most times. They really do try to open another when they can but they need more people, seems like they have been short staffed for a while. Maybe self checkout is a solution.Don't ever buy meat here. It is either mislabeled and already expired or the packing /processing has contamination. Tastes rotten and it's not the first time. I personally will never buy meat here again.Walmart has better quality meat and cheaper.

I'm not sure why they are so short-staffed. There are two registers open and there are 20 carts full of produce in each lane there are five empty lanes. Why won't they hire more people or do self checkout. I don't have time to wait in line for two cents off. Please hire more people for the registers or please open self checkout. The savings are not worth the time wasted.

I really don't shop here much, but it's a nice store. Employees are not overly friendly, I asked for help and the look I got... (I was definitely interrupting them) but they did help me by pointing out where to go. I'll still shop here when they have a good deal on something I need or want 😉

Food Maxx has gotten quite spendy these days.... I think they are trying to keep pace with Safeway....it's right up the Street though and the only grocers in walking distanceSo, they got me by the balls. So to speak. Truthfully, i don't think they carry enough product to be so spendy. They have no self service or express aisle and the one or two lines they do run can get out of control quickly. A few years back it was open all night and much much cheaper and the cashier's were more pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. They've gone downhill in a customer service and uphill in price...

The place has went to hell in a handbag, especially since Save Mart took over. There is never a shopping cart when you need one and if you do get one they are garbage. There prices are sky high when you state you guaranteed low prices. Walmart is a lot cheaper. The manager that you have working there she's a real you know what. I have been coming to the store sent it before was Jumbo's market, but I won't be going back..

Overall good value! Produce quality could be better in the winter. Ready made rotisserie chickens are $8 now!! Has Indian and Asian section. Has most of everything you would need from a grocery store. No deli bakery or butcher. Bag your own groceries. Quick cashiers. Big shopping carts. When the line gets long at checkout they call for backup.

I always have to be careful what item I choose here. They stock higher priced items in front of lower price shelf tags. Always have to examine the shelf tag. I end up not geting the item I wanted and paying a higher price.

Decent prices. Convenient location and parking. There has been some upgrades to the again store. Sometimes the lines get long when there aren't enough cashiers. But the staff is mostly friendly and I feel welcome at the store. Simple and reliable spot 👌

Good prices!Cashier was fast and friendly. With only 1 register open with 5 people ahead of me she zipped right through them! The store had hella customers for being open so late, 11pm. By the time I was walking out they opened 2 more lanes. It was a smooth and easy.

I am a disabled woman and I need the cart's to Ride in. One was dead and would not move at all, The other cart was charged up. But it was broken. I would go just a few feet and the alarm is on. When I finally got into the store withthe alarm going off. NO employees help me at all. And I didn't want cause a seen. So, I waited for my cargiver to go shopping for me. I am very disappointed. I will not shop here. They need to get better employees and fix this problem. And I will tell anyone I know what happened to me.

Decent prices and selection but you have to really pay attention to the dates on products. Staff if always friendly and helpful. Could use some more employees but even when short handed they get threw customers quickly

Well the prices seem decent, though in my one experience the savings was not worth the wait. The store isn't terribly dirty, but i wouldn't call it clean either. I don't particularly mind that though. My biggest problem was that on a friday after getting off work to go home i spent over a half hour in the store to get one item. Maybe its not usual but the line to check out was ridiculous. Everyone seemed a little irritated. otherwise selection seemed decent

I really liked this store before but now they have completely upgraded their refrigerator section with new modern closed door storage. They have also added more high end items. My favorites are the rottisserie chicken, only $6.99 and lots of Mexican foods.

Excellent customer service. I called ahead and requested an electric cart to use since I have limited Mobility. They were happy to bring one out to me in the parking lot. Upon checkout customer service followed me out to my vehicle and unloaded my shopping cart.
