I called a few times to be sure the food I needed was in stock. Each time the staff was helpful and kind and happy to help. No one else keeps this food in stock. When I arrived I was happy to see how clean and well organized the store was. It is smaller than the big chain stores and that was a plus! Easy to walk around and see all the merchandise. The staff were very friendly in person. The prices were reasonable. The selection was amazing!!! So many options for healthy food. My cat sitter Jandy told me about this place and I’m so glad she did! Plenty of parking out front and Sprouts next door.

My husband and I really liked this store. They have many different gourmet brands, small artisan brands and high end brands. Lots of fun choices to make. Lots of treats. A dog toy aisle. Raw dog and cat food options. Beautiful store too. Modern electronic check out. They did not appear to have an apparel option but said they may be getting those in the future.Definitely recommend!

*Support Small Business* First impressions say quite a bit when doing business with any company. That said I was not disappointed when visiting here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My dog was welcomed in the store while on a leash and treated with respect. The staff knows information of all the products they suggested for my Dog's needs. The staff stayed with me while I shopped and answered any question I may have had about the products. This is a small business as I mentioned in opening and the staff welcome you as you would family. I am a very happy customer and found a new home for my current and future pet needs. Thank you for your support to the local community of pets and families. I will be back again.

I have been going to this store for years. I am in there at least once or twice a month. They have ALWAYS been very friendly and helpful. Make a fuss over my dog and give her treats which is really very sweet, she LOVES to go to the puppy store! This last time I went, and also one time before. Two new people.I hate describing people this way, (but no name tag) She had Rainbow colored hair obviously the one in charge because the other girl kept having to go to her with my questions. She couldn’t have been more unpleasant. Sitting on a stool looking down texting on her phone, the entire time I was there, and I was the only person in the store. No eye contact, just completely ignores you.Neither one looked very happy to be there.Completely different atmosphere.However I felt bad for the other girl.So I brought in my bag like I usually try to remember to do, It’s one the store gave me to use. I put it on the counter with my purchase.She hands me my card back, I put it away,and bent down to pick up my dog and she just walks away from the register! The other woman, still on the stool texting on her phone.My purchases left on the counter with the bag beside them. O my gosh! How totally rude! Not a word said! But I got the message! Still no one else in the store just me and my pup.Oh and of course, no treat for her that she was happily waiting for.In all the years, I have been going there that has never happened. They happily put the food in the bag and thank me for bringing it.AND even offer to carry it out!! Which I took them up on one time. I had a heavy purchase (frozen) and carrying my dog too.It’s close to home and I loved going there and taking my dog because it was a special treat for her and me too! Everyone was always so very nice and “happy” to help everyone.Note to self:Not everybody that “can” do. Customer service “should” do Customer Service..I recently went to the Roseville store.It is way out of my way, but I didn’t want the same experience for a third time.They were like this store ‘use’ to be.I’ll go where they appreciate my business.

Very knowledgeable staff, we have a French Bulldog, and we were getting conflicting information from the vet. Talking to the staff, they were able to educate us on the best food for a frenchie and told us how to research for ourselves. They are also very friendly and have great store policies. I was able to return some food, and they recommended another that our frenchie liked. I even took my grand puppy in, and well, he peed, they were so understanding and said, it happens, don't worry about it. So, it's our go-to for food and supplements.

The dog brush was in a hard plastic container and turned out to be soft like my daughter’s brushes for her dolls, and no return policy for brushesThe wondercide was so powerful scent that we had to open windows and Pete still has fleas, and no returns on supplementsI just made a $50 donation apparently

Took my dog in for a wash, very quick & simple.Update:Only issue that I had was one of the employee kept on insisting that my dog had a food allergy. However that wasn't true, my dog was red and had short hair because we shaved the hair on his hind leg (due to him chewing so much that his hair was matted). So I went ahead and purchased the raw food for my dog. However per the instruction my dog was only allowed one patty a day and it was supposed to be fill him up but it didn't.

Stumbled upon this place and it really is pet food heaven!They offered us a FREE nutritional consult for my pup that really helped with understanding his needs better.Going to try the free delivery once this grub runs out.They also have a self serve dog wash which is so cool but for now I’ll bathe my little in the tub.Check this small business out!!Your pet pals will thank you..

The friendly atmosphere and helpful staff are definitely five star but the prices are very high compared to the same brand/items found elsewhere such as elk or deer antlers, chew toys etc.the signature brand foods are relatively affordable.I do appreciate the knowledge and experience that they share.

Customer service went above and beyond tonight. I brought my dog in after he was pepper sprayed by the police. After being washed he was still carrying it on him and I couldn’t get near him. The woman working called the owner of the store for suggestions and a vet for me. The young man fed my dog treats the entire time. I truly felt cared for in a moment I didn’t know what to do.

I would go there alot more if wasn't for terrible customer service. Employees never come from behind the counter to offer help. I got a kitten a while back and needed food. Always had dogs so it was a new adventure. NO ONE of the 3 people behind the counter said anything other then hi. When a picked a small bag of kibble and a couple different wet food cans, and said to the cashier kitten was brand new and trying different foods, nothing, just offered some kind of phone number membership. Stopped in for dog treats once and a girl was sweeping. Asked her for help locating a specific brand. She acted like i was interrupting her and didn't know what I was talking about even though I finally found it displayed in the window. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to get dog and cat food and supplies (raw, freeze dried, treats, etc) to get better customer service. This location is so much closer to me, but the better service offered elsewhere is worth the longer drive.

Two stars for lack of customer service to me.First time here, was hoping to get advice on trying some new cat food. No other shoppers were in the store but from what I could tell the two workers were busy getting together someone else’s order so I didn’t get any help. While I was paying for a few items I picked out, I mentioned that my cat likes the gravy foods and was trying to find some healthier options. The clerk gave no advice and just rang me up. At the same time I was checking out the shopper whose order they must have been preparing came in and they greeted and helped her. If they hadn’t been focused on the order, perhaps I may have had a different experience. The store did seem clean with many pet food options.

So impressed with this place!! I feel so educated. Did you know that puppy food only has 1% more protein than adult food? Learning to read labels. I am most excited about trying the Raw line of food. I can’t tell you how refreshing it was to have experienced, such great customer service!! They have a great selection of treats and food. They also have other pet items I just didn’t have the time to browse that section. I did check out the dog wash. Brilliant dog wash station!

Highest quality, along with a huge selection of varied foods. People you spend $$ on your 4 legged dog - then feed him/her quality food. My dog has no health problems and is 15 yrs young. Quality food does make a difference in their health.

Super, super helpful! I went in to get some treats for my cat's birthday and left with tons of goodies and lots of knowledge! I've always been weary about feeding my cats raw food but learned a whole lot while I was here and now I'm super excited to start! Not only that, but my cats loved the new treats! Owner Steve and his staff are very well informed about dog and cat nutrition. They're very helpful every time we come into the store. They've worked with us to tailor our dogs diets according to their digestive needs, activity, and preferences. They have a rewards program for buying bags of dog food or cases of raw food. Now it's the only place in town we go for our two German Shepherd Dogs!

So happy I walked in to see what products they have to help my pugs digestion and allergy problems. I had no idea the knowledge and help I was about to receive. They helped with allergy tests and I was able to change my pugs diet and no more digestion problems and seems to be working for allergies as well. Sooo happy! My pug finally has a happy belly!

This place was very clean and offered a self service dog bath. The staff is very knowledgeable about the dog food that’s popular and what nutrients are important. As well as what kinds of foods affect different parts of the canine body. I’m looking forward to seeing improvement on my dogs paw licking and a healthier coat too.

High quality food.Low quality staff.I used to enjoy coming in to look over all the options, however the older woman with the long hair has made it impossible to enjoy my time there now. Her attitude seems to have rubbed off on the younger one she is “training”.When I came in last time the new girl I had never seen before in my life accused me of ordering food and not picking it up (my clap back was real that day).The owner used to be in the store all the time and this was never an issue. He’s a great guy hope he can nip this in the bud and take back his business.

I liked Ben's, they are a little expensive, however I don't think it's cheap to make good, raw pretty food. The employees were very helpful and friendly and it made our trip quick! I'll continue to buy my cat food from them.
