Great little store for all of our pet needs. We visit this store although 45 min away from us because of the amazing Grooming Team. ESPY is the best and makes the drive worth it and our dogs love her. Our dogs are always very well taken care of and look beautiful every time.

I had called the store prior (as the website said) to ask if they have dog washing stations and they said yes. I showed up to wash my dog and the dog washing stations were closed at 5:30pm even though the store closed at 7pm. The customer service associates were very friendly (5 stars for them) but could not explain why this information was not posted on the website. I asked them to relay this information to management, management/ownership needs to create transparency if all services are not available during store hours or maybe create an appointment only system to ensure that people are not showing up and unable to use the services.

First time customer. The employees were amazing! A young man helped me find what I came in for and a young lady rang up the purchase. Both were exceptionally nice and friendly. I will definitely return for pet needs in the future!

I am always happy with my experience getting my dog groomed here! Camila does a great job every time and my dog seems very comfortable with her. She is very professional and remembers details about my dog. Definitely recommended!

I went to wash my dog at the self grooming stations and all I could say that it’s not worth 20 dollars for watered down conditioner and shampoo and you don’t even get a dryer to dry your dog with.just towels. It definitely is not worth 20 dollars.

It was a nice experience; the Doctor is very sweet with his patients, very concerned with the well being of the pets. The technician and assistant very knowledgeable and nice. The clinic is very clean and well organized.

Review for the amazing Ariana! Ariana has been our groomer for the past two years. We were very fortunate to meet her right when we moved to San Diego. She is kind to our dogs, my spouse and I! One thing I know for sure is that Ariana will treat our pets with care as if they are her own! Even my dogs, who are slow to warm up to people have a special bond with her. I truly appreciate her and will support her till the end of time.

This store is not like the regular Petco that we go to. This one has lots of stuff for cats & dogs and barely anything for rabbits. The employees were nice. Parking is great.

Took my pups in for her grooming and the staff is very nice. When I picked her up she looked so cute. The two ladies that took care of her did amazing! Thanks Seline and Espy. We will see you in a couple weeks.

Espy is my go to groomer at this location and I am so excited to have found her. She is so gentle with my baby and she always know just what he needs at his grooming appointments. She books up fast so I suggest you make as many appointments in advance that you can like I do!

Staff is great, helpful and friendly.I used the self wash, it was my first time and it all went well except that there were no blow dryers. I called before hand, didn't ask about it since their website advertises on site blow dryers. After I was done washing my dog I asked where the blow dryers were and was told by one of the girls that for some reason they got rid of them.Besides that, good experience overall.

One of the best pet store experiences ever. I was traveling out of state to Chula Vista on a Search and Rescue K9 search and my dog was covered in ticks, but fortunately he uses Nexguard meds. I needed to give him a bath after the search so I had to find a pet store that offered self serve dog baths. I came to this store and I was immediately helped buy being shown where the best flea and tick shampoo was. I had never used a self serve dog bath before so I was walked through the process. They even got me hooked up with some new Nexguard meds since I was not going to be home in time for my dogs next meds. The employees were awesome. I wish more were like them.

I really appreciate the customer service from the members of the H street Petco team. Curbside pickup is sooo easy here. It's definitely an improvement from the poor service experience at Broadway!

I gave specific directions to the groomer, none of which were followed. Asked them to not cut any of the hair on my dogs back and they cut about half the length of her hair. Asked them to clean up her ears and they didn’t, you couldn’t even tell she got a cut by her face. Dropped her off with tears on her fur, they didn’t clean that either. You could see where they used too short of clippers on accident (straight lines cut on her fur). Her paws weren’t cleaned up, also what I had asked. And her tail was cut, also which I had asked them not to cut

I took my kittens to get their shots that was fine. Petco is so much cheaper than Petsmart especially for shots and office exams.

I've been trying to schedule appointment for grooming for 2 days now . NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK AND NO ONE EVER PICKS UP THE PHONE . So it makes you leave a message. This make me go to PETSMART even though unleashed is closer to me . Place someone at grooming counter to make appointments and answer questions. I have over 25 years as Store Manger in retail you are losing revenue something to look into.

We only come here to have both our dogs groomed by Ariana. I would not trust anyone else to groom our dogs. She is the best groomer in San Diego for our dogs. They both love her so much and always look forward to seeing her!

For starters the young lady who was helping me was brand new and needed help but an older woman that worked there said she needed to learn and left her alone with me. I assisted her with transferring my fur baby to the back because she was struggling. While walking back there I overheard the older woman yelling at someone’s dog and thought “wow, that’s not very nice”. Time goes by and I finally get the call to come get him in 30min however, when I arrive none are the groomers are there. They all take lunch at the same time. They left my dog in the kennel and went to lunch smh. I had to go find another store rep to assist me so I could get him. Honestly it was just a hot mess for the price I paid. Also, the grooming wasn’t great either. I’m not sure they did much else other than a bath and I paid for a lot more. I was not satisfied and I do not plan returning.Otherwise, I enjoy the store itself... just not the grooming.

Great service and just food for dogs frozen and soft food was available. I needed to make a change to soft foods due to poor dental and employees helped me find that brand plus freezer dried and room temp containers. I also found soft treats by wellness with lsmb and salmon. Vaccinations are also available without exam.
