Roughly 4-5 months ago, I believe there was a change of staff. I do not know if it has new ownership or what, but I do know that ever since the new people ( especially the ladies ) were hired. The quality of service PLUMETED to truly embarrassing proportions. The quality of the feeder insects (for reptiles) is poor. Before the change of staff, this place seemed neat and orderly, feeder insects were actually fat and "healthy," and they packaged the feeder insects nicely with padding or oatmeal. I hope things get better as this is primarily where I go for anything related to reptiles.

This is the best reptile shop around town!they have a big selection of exotic pets (such as reptiles, fish, arachnid’s, etc). They have lots of reptile supplies and They also sell all kinds of feeder insects!!!

Just purchased our second bearded dragon from them. First a super red hypo leatherback now a hypo trans dinner zero. By far gorgeous compared to what we've seen around. The staff is so helpful and nice. Prices are the best around. I highly recommend them! Quality stuff!

Employees need to show up on time to open up shop. I have been there several times when the store is supposed to open and customers are waiting for employees to open. Today, store was supposed to open at 11am. It was 11:20 and store was still not open and customers were waiting outside. I left. This is damaging to a business.

This is a great store. The owner is really knowledgable and actually cares about the animals he keeps, breeds, and sells. The prices are reasonable and there's quite a large selection and almost always something new.I used to go to their shop before they moved, so they've been around a long time.There's feeder rats, roaches, and crickets here too.A great selection of reptile supplies as well.

EVERY CAGE WAS FILTHY. MOLD AND FLIES ON FOOD DISHES, FECES AND URATE IN EVERY TERRARIUM.Thoroughly disappointing seeing this reptile store housing bearded dragons together, on loose substrate as well as inadequate space. I saw several lizards displaying concerning health issues such as disease and wounds.The man I assume is the owner was in the process of selling a woman and her daughter a bearded dragon without giving proper care instructions, etc, he was clearly just flirting with the mom. Will return to update this review with photos. DO BETTER, PLEASE. REPTILES ARE NOT JUST TO MAKE YOU MONEY.

Came in here to get some things for a saltwater aquarium. When I came in, the only worker there looked at me almost confused. Didn’t say anything. He was in that little back room. I looked around for a bit in the back and after deciding on a couple things I wanted I came back into the main area and waited there for a bit. Nobody came out. So I left. The selection was okay. I think it’s more centered around reptiles. Fish wise there wasn’t much. A lot of nice coral drags tho.

My autistic nephew loves saltwater fish and I take him here as a reward sometimes to look at the fish. The owner, (who shares the same name as him!) always welcomes us and often answers fish questions for my nephew.

I went to this store to pick up some frozen mice and I asked the store owner if he could thawed it out for me he said yes and come back in 2 hours. I came back 2 hours later the mice later the mice was still frozen, so I kinda got upset and I told him that you were supposed to thawed it out when I come back he said I never told him. He basically calling me liar and started to insult me, so I left. The only good thing I could say about this store is that the other staff members were a lot nicer and professional and helpful than the store owner.

Great prices. Really nice people. Was watching a snake for a friend and went here for all my supplies. The owner is very knowledgeable. Even helped us ship out our snake from San Diego to Texas. (Yes he got there no problems.) Awesome place.

Love this place immensely. Been coming here since it was located on 3rd Avenue, many many years ago. Have bought multiple reptiles/amphibians and everytime they make sure that I have everything I need to take the best care of my new friend. The staff are always knowledgeable and friendly and make for a great experience. Shout-out to Monster for being the chillest shop cat I've ever met!

A fine old store with a good reputation. Seems to be struggling a bit in the current difficult economy. Smells strongly of reptiles. Didn't have the cuttlefish bone in stock that I went in for. Was unsure about rules for sales of tortoises. Will definitely continue to visit and shop.

Have been shopping at the same place for about two years now. But in the past month I’ve bought lights bulbs and they go out within weeks. Understood but when it takes 3 days for the lights to go out and won’t get a refund it’s not cool. Crazy part is I was told they have been getting this complaint but yet they sell them. Bought an entire light system to insure it was not my old system. A light that came in it was out, this was within 30 minutes of purchase. I called to let them know and they had to check if it was ok to exchange or not. Maybe going to small pet stores is a bad idea. Bigger stores have the common sense to exchange, if it does not work within 30min of purchasing.Sucks because I like to support small businesses.

My husband and I got two ball pythons to add to our two at home, the owner enthusiastically talked to us about breeding, what it takes, what months to do it, and what we’ll need when the time comes. He was patient through our journey of finding the perfect morph and the staff was altogether very friendly. We will definitely come back if we ever decide to expand our ball python family further!

Well I hope they get coin change soon. I went yesterday and only card transactions unfortunately I don't shop at establishments whom do not have the ability to complete cash transactions. I also have to mention that the young tall man who works there is rather rude. I hope the owner realizes the importance of good treatment to the client.

First I'd like to say that this was the best customer service I have gotten. Andrew and Michelle were so helpful. I went in thinking that raising my red eared slider turtles was as simple as getting a tank and filling it with water, I was so wrong. Thanks to them I have a better knowlege of how to raise them and all the equipment I need for them to grow up healthy. They helped us get great deals and were very generous. This will be the place I come to for my future purchases.

Owner Mike Yacoub has an awesome shop and a terrific group of employees. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and the customer service is top notch. I wholeheartedly agree that this store has the advice and service that big box pet stores lack. In over 30 years of experience in this industry I have never met a more knowledgeable and capable set of personnel dedicated to the craft.

I recently visited this shop to purchase crickets for my friends bearded dragon. My friend is in the hospital so I have no idea how to care for her "baby". And now thanks to Adrian from Reef & Reptile CO, I know where to purchase the food for a great bargain, and how often to feed them. He truly made me feel as if he cared about my friends pet. The owner here will take time to make sure you have everything you need and the proper knowledge to take care of your pet. He even held a little class for us on tortoise care! This place is by far the best reptile store out there
