Item purchased has a part missing. When i went to store was told i could get part by calling customer service. And the person told me they knew that box was missing the part, she even knew the part #. She said another customer bought same item and had same problem. I called customer service and they can’t help either. Ironically this is made by Petco but no one can help. I was told I could call around to other stores to see if they have the same item with all parts. What type of customer service is this!! You knowingly sell me a box with a missing part and now i have to do all the work to fix this!!! I will probably never shop at your stores again.

I was told by an associate that if the toys I bought for my dog are too big that I would be able to return as long as I had my receipt. When I went to return my item the very next day. The dog toys were out of package but I had my receipt and the original packing. Jess was who was helping me. She straight up said “this is not okay. I can’t even donate these toys because they are open. Just letting you know this will never happen again for a refund” the entire time, she was huffing and SLAMMING the toys down, rolling her eyes. Then as I was leaving she THREW all the toys in the trash. I left crying with how I was treated. Little did she know that the toys I bought for were for my dog but she passed away that day. I would have just rather her say she couldn’t refund me. She has no idea what other people are going through so a little kindness would be nice.

Today an employee accused me of not cleaning up after my dog when someone told her that my dog had pooped.She insisted that it was my dog even when I told her that my dog was trained and that he has NEVER done that.Some of her statements were:"Someone told me it was your dog""Did you see another dog, coworker?""Its ok if your dog poops, my dogs have done it too. I just want you to clean it""Its ok if you don't want to clean it. I'll clean it for you"I felt very uncomfortable, embarrassed, and not wanting to purchase my goods after the incident. So much lack of customer service skills. Lots of gas lighting and sarcasm. I believe her name is Kelly.I asked her if she could view the cameras and she said that I would have to go through corporate.

Love that there's a vet in store very convenient, also have used their grooming services for baths for my big dog a few times and the woman, (I think her name is Luna) is a gem, so nice and was still friendly and accommodating when we were a bit late. Kudos to her.

I went there 3-1/2 weeks ago the freezers were broke and what I buy is not sellable because of that so I got the food someplace else. Than I go again freezers are working but the food I get is no where’s to be found I had to buy something else so I am not happy about that and guess I will have to go someplace else to get what I need because that was Saturday and they only get delivers on Friday. The girl could not be sure they were getting what I need this Friday so guess I will stop going there.

Love petco now that I have become a Sphynx cat breeder, this is the place to be for food and litter and all essentials.. I singed up for the reward members club and I have go to say it pays off on its own amazing 100% satisfaction the customer service is amazing...

We have been shopping at this Petco the last couple of months and absolutely love our shopping experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The team at Petco always has great recommendations on new products to make our dogs lives better. Highly recommend this location to anyone in the local area or to anyone that’s passing through.

My dog had an appointment at 8am and when I showed up to the store they were still closed for another hour. I figured the groomers were just on different hours but I couldn't see anyone inside. I had to go to the vet to ask them to let me in and the lady was kind and walked me through the store to the groomers side. I went inside the groomers area where no one was and waited around for a few minutes. I stepped outside to see if maybe someone was in the store that could help me and saw no one. Since the store was still closed I didn't want to walk around to look for help in the dark. Finally someone came in the store and asked me if anyone was at the groomers in which I replied no. The lady finished her personal phone call before helping me, she then called the stylist and asked where she was and told her that she had a client. The lady at the counter did not explain anything to me and said she would take my dog. We went over the details of the appointment and she told me they would call me when he was ready about 3-4 hours. At 12 I still did not receive a call and I tried to call to get an update but there was no answer, I drove to the store and when I walked in I could see my dog was in the middle of getting a hair cut, this was 4.5 hours after dropping him off, mind you my dog is less than 20 pounds. I asked when he would be ready and she asked for another 15 mins. You could instantly tell she was in a rush to wrap up the session. I was in a hurry to leave as I had to get to work. Once we got home you could see the hair cut was very choppy and he still had hair all over him from the cut. It looks like I gave him a haircut in my car with how much left over hair there was. My dog does not shed so I know it wasn't from him previously.I spend 6 months a year in this area and we are preparing to head home, next year I will not be returning here.

The Petco on Broadway in Chula Vista, right in front of Costco, is a pretty cool store & very close to our house.They have more pet stuff than my dog Spaz can chase a stick at! (that was a joke- get it? Chase a stick at/ shake a stick at?)The staff has been very friendly & welcoming with us. You should shop there at least one time to see if you like it as much as we do! You're small children should love it too as the pet toy & clothing choice is huge! There is so much to say about Petco!Honestly!From Trisch & Spaz

First I'd like to say that I was super nervous to try a new groomer after years of going to the same place. But I'm so happy I did, after reading a review of how good Denisse was with someone else's pup I decided to book with her for my pup. I was so happy when I picked him up she did such a great job with him 🤗. He looked so cute and not a single redmark on this belly which is what I was seeing from the last place. Thank you so much Denisse for an amaizing job.
