Wonderful dog grooming place! We've been taking our toy poodle here for a long time. Easy to set up appointments or walk in, and the staff are always friendly and professional. We usually take a picture with us to give to the groomers of what we'd like them to do, and they're always eager to use it. Here are some pics of our recently groomed pup! I'm always talking wonders about this place but I'd never left a review until now! Been coming here for at least 2 years, Cass is 5 and I had always taken her to petsmart to get groomed. She hated going there and every single time she'd return frightened, shaking, and she'd give me an attitude the entire day. Ever since I've brought her here, she's so happy when it comes time to go home. She's wagging her tail and is very happy, it's so delightful. It gives me the impression that the people here treat her wonderful. This isn't a pic from her recently out of the groomers but we go every 3 months to keep her looking like this. WE LOVE IT and it's worth the $50 I spend here.

First time taking my dog here. I have a purebred shiba inu, they were great with him when it came to cut his dew claws. They have everything you could need, including deshedding shampoo. The wash is self serve, with a blow dryer.Great atmosphere and great staff, they will be seeing my back many times. Highly recommend.

Bonita dog grooming was recommended to me by a different groomer who didn’t really want to deal with my larger dog. Experience was fantastic and my dog was very happy! Would highly recommend!

I have an uncommon breed and they had no problem getting him cut perfectly and will make last minute alterations if need be at pick up.

Excellent service!!! I highly recommend this place for your dog grooming needs. I have a particularly difficult pitbull when it comes to his nails being clipped. He's been banned from all the big box places (Petco, Pet Smart, etc). Bonita Dog Grooming has been so patient with him and now it's no problem to clip his nails. They have a lifetime customer in me.

I took my moms dog here for the first time for grooming. when I got him home we noticed both of his eyes were blood shot, he had a hard time keeping them open. He was Squinting his eyes. I took him to the vet and I was told that he had Hemorrhaging in both of his eyes, it was caused by either he was hit on the head or something dropped on his head. My mom called the groomers and the denied any wrong doing. Well this did not happened on its own and he was fine when I dropped him off. It cost $150.00 to see the vet and meds for his eyes. They should pay this bill. I will never bring our dogs here again, I do not recommend this place at all!!!!

Everytime i need a nail trim for my baby, i always go to this place. They have the nicest staffs esp the owner. He always makes sure that my dogs nails is perfectly trimmed. He would even ask me if im satisfied with the trim. So nice to always offer us a treat. Anyway if you are looking for a place where you can take your pet for grooming with love, this is the place for you

Amazing service and my dog's first haircut! The front desk was friendly & my dog who isn't the nicest towards males (rescue pup), was at ease with Fabian & didn't even require to be muzzled! Ty!!

Friendly staff and good value for the money (their gold star service of shampoo, cut, nails, etc.), but not a competition cut: 3 stars for cut quality, 5 for value = 4 overall. Note that I am incredibly particular about my dogs cuts, I've got my own equipment and have cut them myself and will probably go back to cutting them myself to have exactly how I want it - but oh the time that takes...

They do such a great job on my Shih Tzu Rico. I love this place. Now I took my brother's dog this Saturday and they were so caring as always and did an awesome job grooming him. My bother loved it. They have acquired another lifetime customer.

We are new to the San Diego area. So I took my shi tzu to Bonita Dog Grooming. She was not shaky and scared, she was very clean and they advices me on certain food to use for her. I thought my dog had fleas or sensitive skin because she was always scratching. They said she has no fleas and more than likely is just having trouble with the dog food. I never thought of that since she eats it fine. But then again it makes sense. I will definitely be coming back and referring people to this place. People were friendly. Loved the experience.

They are really good, fast and good price! Have been to other groomers in Chula Vista, national City and Petco and they are much better! I have a Maltipoo that tends to grow hair like no other and she likes going to Bonita groomers. Fabian is the man!

Our 1st time. My 2 Maltipoos got washed and their haircut & groomed. Need to talk to groomer about a few changes in the haircut. Also give me a 2 hour block of time in the appt book, so he's not having to do another dog while grooming mine. I'm sure sure we can work it out. The Goomer/Owner is very nice & willing to please. Like I said, this was our 1st time, because our long time groomer, retired. I WILL BE GOING BACK! 😊👍
