From the owner to his relatives cashiers and a meat department everyone's friendly there it's always clean as soon as I come in they're greeting me good prices cold beer willing to help all the time yeah I love this store, Saturday mornings they're always cooking chicken outside . Buena Onda. Their customer service is outstanding.

Employees are always friendly, the prices are ok for what I need.. It's convenient because it's close to my home.. Fresh meat counter with items other stores don't carry... My wife and I go there quite often.

Looks much better than when it was El Capitan. Very clean, organized, stocked shelves. Definitely dont go there for fresh produce. Looks like they had a good variety of meat in the deli, but there were no prices on anything. Not one person working greeted me, so some friendly service would be appreciated and would probably keep the community coming back.

Great service and staff is very helpful. Great prices. The staff is always willing to help. Being a wheelchair I asked a staff member if he could open the door for me cause my hands were full and he politely said yes and he was sorry he didn't notice me.

I loved it there. The store is easy to get around and they have a great selection. Prices are FANTASTIC. I am in a wheelchair and so is my wife. They are nice and very courteous. Will be back FOR SURE!!!!!!

I've been to the state market a few times and to me the vegetables and fruits are old and overpriced. All the non parishables are dusty and way over priced. The only thing that is regular prices are the meats but you can get the same price elsewhere for fresher. When they have their ads that's the only time to get something at a decent price. Poor Chowchilla needs better options. I just moved here and still drive to Fresno for shopping.

This place is way better than the store that used to be here! Of course selection is limited because it's a smaller grocery chain, but their prices are WAY better and they always have awesome deals. Especially on produce!

It's nice but I only go there when i need like one or two things.. and i don't want to drive to savemart. The store does not have a variety of items I need. No French bread..no honey grahm cookies..and other items.

I went in looking for ground chicken because I was unable to find it anywhere else in town... They graciously grabbed some chicken breasts and ground them for me! Fresh ground chicken! Thank you so so much State Foods!

Soso for the second time the meat department is not of my liking the workers are not that friendly or polite they took forever twice talking to a client forever while I kept waiting Almost screamed to the guy. I guess for an emergency would b ok.🙈

You have to watch male clerk at cig. Counter. He apparently can't addAnd things up wrong. He just took 5.00 from meWill not go there again. At xmas every pennie adds up.
