I was doing Instacart there and I asked a couple questions to One of the employees about item locations. I am not very familiar where everything is and my Instacart app does not locate the items in the store. The Employee said “ Are you with Instacart? “ and told me “ I should put her on my payroll” and said no no meaning she is not going to help me.I was not rude, demanding, problematic. All I needed some help as any customer there

I deleted my old review because now Dollar tree has better managers & employees they're nice they're friendly and I love shopping there and the managers there are so awesome all of them thank you for better management 2 or 3 yrs ago I couldnt say this

💖 Dollar Tree there are times when I can't find what I'm looking for. But I do wait for a couple of days later. To check back in and the item is already back in stock. Which makes me Happy Happy Happy 🤗ALL of the Employees are Nice and Friendly Too 😉 Never had a Bad Experiences Here!! I'm Really Glad that Chowchilla has a Dollar Tree here. Thanks 👍

My opinion; clean store, very helpful, and positive attitude. I can see why there’s negative or 1 starts reviews. But in reality!! From a regular customers point of view, If you go in with a nice attitude and treat the employees good they will treat you the same, but if you’re not understanding why they cannot do a refund or take something back or not get it your way and you start making a fuss and start treating them bad, they will do it back, yes it’s a bit unprofessional but they’re only humans like everyone else. Also That’s their job, they don’t come up with the store’s policy. There’s a limit to what the can and cannot do! Point is, We the customers! Have to be nice as well, no one is better than anyone else.

This store has been well stocked every time I have gone in. Workers have always smiled and greeted me and other customers. Workers have gone out of their way if they're low or out of somethings (only happened once). But after some digging around in back, the workers found just what I needed very quickly.

I am a assistant manager at our local Dollar Tree. We have a great salaiction in summer toy's also party supplies. All at $1.00 or lower. Please come in and check it out. Oh I almost forgot are customer service is wonderful and the store is clean. Please stop buy. Lost of stuff for 4th of July.

The self-proclaimed manager trini was extremely rude and unprofessional The second I reached her register she had a very hostile attitude. She was tossing around my items and slamming the register because I wanted to add some extra items to my transaction. I commented to her she didn't have to be rude about things and she got defensive and refused to help me when I asked to speak to the manager she responded she was the manager. I asked for corporate number and she told me if I wanted it "I can go find it myself". I've never encountered anyone as unprofessional and angry as she was and I am appalled with the aggressive behavior she displayed as I was carrying my infant and had four other children with me. Save yourself the harassment and shop at another dollar tree

Went into the Dollar tree in Chowchilla CA, I wanted to exchange a seasonal item. I was told by the assistant manger Trini that I could not return or exchange seasonal items. I told her to read the bottom of the receipt where it said I could not return items. She wouldn't read the receipt, started yelling at me, called the cops. It turns out that she was in the wrong, the police officer read the bottom of the receipt and went back into the store and bought me a new item. He told me that there really wasn't anything else I could do. Trying to get someone from the Dollar tree to listen to you is impossible. I called the manager, district manager and even the corporate office and had to leave mesages with no return calls. So, if you are wanting to try and exchange or return something they will more than likely give you a hard time. From now on I will pay the higher price for something because the Dollar tree is just a cheap, poor quality store just like their employees!

I am agoraphobic and even during this busy season I felt quit comfortable, which is unusual for me. I had my work dog with me and the staff was pleasant kind and was there to ask if I needed help as I was in my scooter the saw me struggling a little to get some things and asked me if I needed help. The ills were wide enough for my scooter, not like the $ tree in los banos near food 4 less, that store is baddddd. I injured my self trying to go around I'lls and ended up making a big gash on the side of my knee and my knee brace was soaking up the blood. About 10 minutes later I realized what had happened, went back to let them know and either the co. Or owner after taking down my info, dismissed my injuries to my fault. They had a handicapped symbol out side and it was quite obvious they are NOT handicapped friendly. I now have a dark scare on my knee forever. Chowchilla is by far the best $ tree I have ever been in and give this store the best rating there can be. Thank you $ tree for coming to Chowchilla. You made me very impressed, comfortable, and above all made me feel like it's possible for someone like me CAN go to a store and not be afraid. Thank you.
