Deli Bowls before COVID were 3.98. Used to get 12+ every 2 weeks or so to divvy up between my kids. During COVID the price went up to 4.98, so I gritted my teeth because they were still kind of affordable and my adult kids liked them, so I still got them, but less of them. Recently they just went up to 5.98. WHY? They're made of Deli, Produce and MAYBE some frozen food leftovers! Like the chicken bowls I know are made of 1+ day old chicken strips and previously frozen corn. They were always for my adult kids. So now I won't be getting any of these ever. UNLESS the price goes back to at least 4.98. Time to figure out something else for their lunches. Maybe go back to good old home made sammiches. The bowls at their new price are simply NOT worth 5.98.

Wow! The folks that make up the team at WinCo are always courteous and helpful…but tonight Matt in the deli hit a home run for the winco team, by going above and beyond.Matt heard my wife ask if deli was open as she wanted some ham cut…but they were not 😔But as we walked away he came out from behind the counter and asked”what are you folks wanting”? We told him…and it wasn’t 30 seconds and he was pulling the ham and making us up exactly what we were wanting.! Thanks bro! Great showing of customer service. Wilco needs More Matt’!

Literally one of the most slow, retarded stores I think I’ve ever been too. It’s 11 at night and I’m going there to get 2 things, and self checkout is closed. They only have two checkers, and there’s crackheads with carts full of stuff. I didn’t get out of there until 11:41 and I got there at 11!! I shouldn’t have to wait 35 minutes in line to get 2 things. You’d think they’d use their brains and open a few more check stands with a few of the 50 employees that are on shift to start checking people out, but they have no consideration of your time and don’t care making people wait. The lines were so backed up and it should not be like that. If you have a 24 hour store, your self check outs should not close at 8, and if they do, you better make sure that you have enough check stands to check people out in a reasonable time. Most of us have lives and things to do, not wait 40 minutes in the winco line because the workers don't. Also most of the employees are so rude here in Chico. Especially the older red head lady with glasses at the self checkout, don’t know her name but she’s rude. This place sucks.

Good prices, lots of selections, good produce section. The only thing I don't like about winco is the traffic jams on every aisle when it's busy. Which is most of the time.

Ghettoest place I have EVER been.It’s like the grocery store part of the dollar tree, the size of walmart, looks like a warehouse like costco & it is dirty and FULL of ghetto scary people. All of the sounds in the store echo the floor is concrete and cover in trash. I couldn’t even breath because of the dust and dirt.Seems like AMAZING prices but AWFUL AWFUL experience. Never never never again in my whole life.

My kids came in today 4/06/2024 at 4:16pm... they went through self check out and bought candy and the lady that was working self check, she talked under her breath and needs to speak up!!!She harrassed my child and accused her for using the wrong code for the candy(which was the right code) because I came in to check.. so I approach her scary self with the right price and she grabbed the front lead to assist me and she was rude as hell and kept calling me and my husband a Lier... so unprofessional and she yelled at us also... this type of service is crazy and needs to be checked out.

Cheapest rotisserie chicken in town. Great selection of whole bean coffee for way less than AmazonIf you don't have a large family, then save the Costco membership and go here.Open 24 hours, and l suggest using that too your advantage. Can get very busy, and parking lot fills up. Never seem to have enough cash registers open, and you bag your own groceries.

Ok. Let's start with the positive. We do MOST of our shopping here. Careful selection of bulk items and decent prices on meat and veggies is why we return. BUT! HOLY HELL, WHY CAN'T YOU STAFF THE FREAKING REGISTERS! look. I'll let you in on a little secret. Around the first of the month, you're gonna be busy. Staff accordingly! I'm not willing to spend more time waiting in line than I did shopping. So we left a grocery cart full of items and walked out. The line to the self checkout was well back to the center of the store. The other lanes were half manned, and had lines well past the bakery. Screw that. I'll let YOU guys decide if the wasted ground bulk coffee and other bulk items, the time spent putting all the meat and produce and dairy away, plus the lost sale to Costco was worth not hiring another few checkers. Plus, there were at least another three or four shoppers coming to the same conclusion, given the full and parked carts in the isle. Do better.

12/13/2023 20:20 At WinCo and looking at pallets of moldy strawberries, raw meat in the dessert cases. This is extremely unsanitary. The self check out cashier's are making customers walk around to the front of the line to get bags and there is a huge line. If management reads this you need to get your team together it's disgusting in here and your staff could use some customer training service and training on the pay systems.

I love shopping at WinCo because they have everything that I need their there's 2 things that I would like to see them improve is to get an app that has all the stuff that they have in there store and any sales because when I make my shopping list I need to know what's on sale and what they have in their store they also need to get more flavored water like the Crystal Geyser different flavors than just lemon lime and plain but other than that I love shopping at WinCo I've never had anybody ever be rude to me that works there everybody is very kind

I like shopping early to beat the crowds. I see a lot of standing around talking from employees and they don't get out of the customers way. Only 2 cashiers and they face each other so they talk to each other not the customers

I shopped at your store at around 9:40 this evening, I passed my products through the cashier and I told the employee with glasses that the bag was torn, I asked if you could give me a bag and he brought the bags hard and left them on the table.

Great selection of bulk foods in the back. Clean restrooms, ATM, key maker, Redbox, Coinstar and Glaicer water dispenser. Check cashing also available and money orders. Always friendly staff at checkout and great selection of items in the store. :-)

Very reasonable prices & most employees are very nice & helpful. I mostly shop elsewhere, this store is almost always very busy, but I do have to come here for certain things. The prices can't be beat on some items such as Vanilla liquid Syrup for making drinks, & almost all the ice cream & dairy products, veggies & fruits are much cheaper & selection is pretty good.Plus this is the only place I know of where you can get Hawaiian Bread sliced! It's sooo good!! They also have this pretzel bread (this picture is of hamburger buns) but still, that is super good too!

This is my go-to place next to Walmart and Grocery Outlet if I ever need to shop for groceries! However, Walmart in my area lacks a grocery section. My dad also likes shopping here too! It's got everything you desire, great prices, incredible selection and variety, and more!

It's your average budget grocery store it's not super dirty (it's also not very clean) the employees don't seem like they particularly enjoy life. They don't take credit cards (much less apple pay or any other form of tap pay). I did once purchase a doughnut from the bakery with a giant thumb/toe nail in it ; that was fun (DO NOT PURCHASE ANY BAKERY ITEMS). but it is cheap and selection is large enough . (Don't come in if your in a rush, your gunna be in line for at least 25-30 mins)

I shop here regularly. The staff is friendly and helpful. While the selections can be limited in variety, they have just about everything you need at a reasonable price.Update 2/16/24 - I'm pleased they are again stocking Mexican Coca-Cola.
