Our movers Calvert and Daniel were great. They were very professional, communicated well throughout the day, and had a great attitude that made moving day much less stressful. They seemed very trustworthy and took care of our items like it was their own stuff. Would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck to friends and for our future moves.

Excellent service moving a packed 1 bedroom apartment worth of fragile, high value antique furniture a short haul across town. Employees were fast, efficient down and up stairs, accommodating minor changes in placement and willing to provide further assembly.1 front tire was damaged on truck and definitely would not pass pre trip inspection so not acceptable for trip east, up on windy hwy. 32

I was happy with the people I dealt with on the phone arranging my move. I had to change the date twice, waiting for the sale of my home to close and I didn't have an address I was going to, just the city. They were very patient with me and very professional. But when it came time to move, it was a nightmare from start to finish. I was told they would arrive between 10 and 11, but they actually didn't show up until 1pm. I didn't receive a call letting me know they were going to be late, I had to call when they didn't show up on time. When they did arrive, I gave very specific instructions NOT TO LET MY CAT OUT OF THE BEDROOM. Since I have a dog who goes nuts when there are strangers, I sat in my car while they worked packing my things. I went inside after a couple of hours and THE BEDROOM DOOR AND THE FRONT DOOR WERE WIDE OPEN, and the cat was nowhere to be found. It took them four hours to get it done, so then it was 5pm and I missed my chance to return my modem and I still had a 3 1/2 hour drive ahead of me, as i moved out of state. I was not able to find the cat, I was not able to fully clean and the buyers were angry! The cat was still in the house too, and I am heartbroken. The head guy tried to blame the other two guys for the cat, but I know it was him who did it. I really don't respect people who don't take responsibility. The packing was terrible, the guys obviously didn't know what they were doing. Some boxes contained mostly paper. Things were wrapped up that didn't need to be. My brand new microwave arrived with several ugly dents on top. This move cost me $6,000 including tips. The only reason I'm not rating them lower is the office staff and sales person who don't deserve a lower rating. I haven't unpacked everything yet, I really hope nothing else is damaged or broken. Luckily, the movers in the town I moved to were great. I recommend Two Men and a Truck do what they have to to improve their movers' training.

I needed to hire a moving company to assist with moving and storing an entire apartments worth of belongings for 48 hours. Their text communication was super helpful and easy. Janae helped me with the reservation and she was so accommodating, professional, and just a delight to work with. She was patient when we had to scramble a bit but was able to meet all of my needs! I received great feedback from the client on how the movers were also very professional and careful with their belongings. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for moving services. Great communication, excellent costumer service, and punctual and respectful movers!!

I used 2 Men and a truck for a state to state move and it was quite literally the worst move of my entire life, and I'm an ex navy wife so I have had many moves including to Japan and back. The receptionist gave me a. Quote based on looking at the pictures of my house on Zillow, her idea not mine. She didn't allow enough days to pack and move everything put so I had to "rent" my house that I had sold back from the buyers to have time to move. Then there still wasn't enough time so I had to give alot of stuff to neighbors and the young men doing the moving, and I mean nice stuff including a brand new $1000 generator. When I got to my destination and got a place rented the branch owner in Chico decided, after the fact, to charge me twice the amount that I was quoted and held my belongings that were there in their storage hostage. He told me that not only would I not get my things if I didn't pay the extra amount but that he would file charges against me for not paying which at the minimum I would have to go back to California to fight. After all this, when they finally did deliver my things most of my expenses stuff was missing. Both of my TV's, my surround sound and both of my free standing jewelry boxes with all the contents are apparently adorning one of the movers homes. Truly do yourself a favor and do not hire these unethical, undependable modern pirates and the swine of an owner this branch has. WARNING USER BEWARE should be listed on their website, building and trucks!!

I have used Two Men twice now and they are so easy to work with. My movers have been friendly and so easy to work with. I am 81yrs old and a widow. This time they were moving me from storage to my new place. They made sure that everything was put where I wanted it. They set my beds up for me and didn't leave until I had checked to make sure I had everything where I wanted it. I would recommend them to anyone and already have. Thank you Two Men and a Truck. Fast, affordable and incredibly caring. My father needed furniture moved out as he had hoarded so much he could barely move around his apartment. They came within a week of the quote, and got everything out in less than 2 hours. Even offered to sweep the floor after! Really wonderful crew. Can't say enough good things. I was really worried it would be expensive and inconvenient, especially with him feeling so embarrassed about the state of his apartment. But they were so professional and he was so relieved having the help.

I definitely recommend this company for your next move! We had two households to combine so there was a lot of boxes, heavy furniture, multiple stops to make, and a lot of stairs involved. They made the process so fast and easy! Booking the move was so simple and I appreciate how you can select what type of furniture is in each room when creating your quote. The guys showed up right on time, communicated well, and were very prepared for the job. When it was required, they dismantled and reassembled the furniture with ease. They treated our belongings with care and were very personable. This is a great company with great people!

I recently moved my parents to Chico from San Diego. We used Two Men and a Truck for the unloading on the Chico end. The office staff were super responsive and professional, and the movers were absolutely amazing. The lead mover who managed the move, was calm, informative and very thorough. The other two movers were awesome with great energy and positive personalities, which comes in handy when things have to be hauled up stairwells. They worked quickly, professionally and took care with my parents' belongings. I will continue to use them any time I have moving needs in the future!

We’ve worked with two men and a truck twice now and have been impressed both times at the speed, efficiency, and care used to move our belongings. Both times were very last minute moves but they were still able to squeeze us in right away. On the second move, one of the men no called no showed but they still pulled through and got it done in no time. Highly recommend.

Team George and Tom did an outstanding job. Chris in the office was extremely accommodating and worked my ever changing timeline twice. The guys had their work cut out for them, we filled the truck with a piano, weighing a LOT, and 2 full size safes. George was up to the task and the bunk bed breakdown and set back up was as smooth as it could be. All 3 movers were friendly and professional and really took great care of our belongings. They worked with urgency and were respectful of time! I would absolutely recommend 2 Men and a Truck for any move, 3 miles away like mine or across the country! You'll be hard pressed to find a better group of people at a better value, stop looking, call 2 Men and a Truck! I wish I could give them 10 stars! I have moved quite a bit and my experience with Two Men and a Truck, Chico was AMAZING! From scheduling my move, to adjusting the schedule, to move day was all flawless! Day of the move the two men showed up on time, were professional, asked great questions, and got to work. They were respectful and careful with my belongings.... and they were FAST! I moved 2 hours away, they took a short lunch break and got right back to work (they even picked up another man on the way so the unload was even faster). They didn't just dump my stuff either, they put it in the designated areas of my new home. I am also a Realtor, so I deal with moves frequently, and I am very very impressed with their service! Two Men and a Truck helped us with a move from our 2-story condo into a one story house. The two guys who came out were great! They were on-time, very courteous and so helpful above my expectations. It was one of those 100 degree days in Chico and it didn't even slow them down one bit! They really were amazing in many ways. For example, when they removed a bed from one of our rooms there were items under the bed that I had forgotten about so didn't box up. They just grabbed those random items and threw them in the truck! They didn't say anything about it and I didn't realize it until I was unpacking the new house and saw a nice little pile of books that I had no idea where they came from. Also, getting one of our beds down the narrow condo stairs was very challenging. They remained calm and cool and took the time to do it carefully. I'm so glad they were there! I would not have kept my cool if it had been me!
