Horrible uncaring veterinary clinic . Refused to grant me a prescription for IV fluids to keep my dog from suffering and dying from dehydration. Expected me to wait a week for a recheck. So they want my dog to suffer for a and hopefully die in a week . This way they won't have to honor the unlimited veterinary visits that I get with my vital care premiere. It's all about money so they referred me out to a clinic that's going to cost me well over $300 for the service I could do myself if I had the prescription . Shame on you Dr Smith. Unfortunately there are too many young doctors like this now who are in the industry for the money not for The compassion or care of our animals.

Love their 30 day...no questions...return policy!! I bought the wrong food and didn't realize it until I opened it. I still had my receipt ...they gave me a full refund no problems!

Of the last 6 grooming appts I've had booked for my pup, 5 of them were cancelled last minute, leaving me out a bunch of money on wasted gas since they only notify me AS IM LITERALLY PULLING INTO THE PARKING LOT. I took PTO for this appt AND drove over 40 miles, just to have my time and money wasted and disrespected. Part of me really hopes God is real, because I know this grooming team would have a special place in hell.

UNBELIEVABLY DISGUSTING: Many months(a year?) of human waste and earwax-hued bacteria, everywhere--running down the walls, GATHERING DUST, on the sides of overflowed-but-never-cleaned toilets--reminiscent of a gas-station bathroom from the 1970s. The sink was a dark grey. Manager Eleanor, one of THREE, on site, that day, was openly hostile, haughty, and ARROGANT, when informed--proud queen of a flophouse shi**er. She's absolutely off her rocker--no shame, no self-awareness. An employee stated, that THIS is the #1 complaint of ALL employees--absolutely SEPTIC bathrooms, no surface safe to touch. Even the HAND-DRYER itself, was oozing mounds of caked bacteria--dripping, like sickly-orange gobs of earwax, down the wall and into a nasty puddle, on the floor. Holy hell.

We got Scooby our hamster here and we love just her. ❤️ The lady here helped us pick out a hamster that was going to be a good pet for my 6 year old that was not so scared or mean. She helped us find a habitat that was going to actually be enough space for our new friend. She was awesome!

Didn’t have any towels for the self service dog wash. I got some earful from the manager after asking for a discount that its not in her control weather the washer is broken or not. The suggestion was for me to walk o er to a nearby store to buy a towel to use, as the one in Petco cost more than the self service itself. The assistant manager was less than enthused to hear my complaint and although I ended up using towels from the grooming staff, the assistant manager was extremely rude, condescending, unpleasant and very clearly didn’t like me at all. I’d give a 0 if it wasn’t for the super nice grooming staff.

Well I was recently and I was going to go get some crickets for a damn frog but other than that you can't go wrong with the company I used to go there a lot back in the day when I lived in Chico and I had a cat named Slik. May he now rest in peace but don't let me stop you from shopping there!

We took our little mini schnauzer for a Hartgard test and prescription. All the employees there, were wonderful and very professional and Dr Smith the vet was incredibly wonderful, professional and knew exactly what she was talking about. We will definitely go back. Thank you, Anita Romano

The self-serve dog wash costs an unreasonable $20 and there were no towels. The employee told us to go next door to Home Goods and buy towels to use. It is completely insane to me that Petco has the gall to raise the price of a SELF-SERVE product 30% in the last year and then tell people to go spend more money.Frankly, the self-serve dog wash is always a gamble. The baskets rarely contain all of the items that they are supposed to, it's usually pretty dirty, and there's almost never shampoo in the dispensers. I didn't much care when the cost was $15, but high costs should equal some level of quality. If Petco wants to charge top dollar for this service, maybe they should, I don't know, provide a top quality product?

Employees there are friendly, Very knowledgeable and polite. Positive experience. Recommend. Fish area is fun to watch. Had a return, it was so easy and the employee even got me the correct product I needed in stead. Bravo!!! They have dog training events there too and a Vet clinic.

I have had a horrible time getting an appointment for grooming. They keep getting canceled less than 24 hours before the appointment. I understand things happen but this is multiple times in a row with different groomers.

Nobody is ever around to help you or answer questions. The cashiers always look so unhappy and don’t ever smile. But they do have lots of pet supplies lol. I started going to petsmart because they are more helpful there and I found out that the prices at petsmart are about 5% cheaper

Employees were not honoring the discount of things i found on clearance racks. That happens every time im there. Once they were even talking down to me as though i put it there and was trying to get one over on them. If they view the cameras before talking theyd see we weren't the ones who put it there, and their rudness was totally uncalled for. Another time i was buying squeaky toys for my dogs and the lady working was talking very poorly about my choices of toys asking if i enjoy my headaches and how she hates their noises. I personally enjoy the sound of happy dogs squeaking their toys, the only headache i get is from the lack of professionalism at that store. Be careful with clearance racks, make sure theres a sticker on it before you buy it even if it is on the clearance rack along with many other of the same item.

I’ve tried over and over to shop this store. But I’m sick of the front counter staff. One won’t shut up, especially when repeating herself about her shepherd. The others bad mouth customers in front of other customers. Bad culture at this store. From now on, I’ll shop Amazon.

This place is hit and miss with their employees. I had a very nice gentleman with long brown hair help me and he helped me find my item, gave me advice on use and ingredients in each, and even at the counter gave me advice on my problem outside of the store products. Then their was a girl with short curly hair, who was working the register next to him and she would just talk loudly over us, she acted like I wasn’t even their, and walked right between me and the counter that I was in front of. I have very mixed feelings.

Such a variety of loving cuts to take home. We walked through that story very slowly and looked at every species they have. They're also just so beautiful handsome and cute. Very clean store very nice people who work there. Very enjoyable just to walk through the whole store and not buy anything. But I do have a shopping list.

There is merchandise that you can't GET anywhere but Petco, unless you order online. There has seldom if ever been a recall on Merrick dry kibble with Ancient Grains (which was meant only for emergencies), and unfortunately Petco is the only place in town to physically purchase.They also have great aquariums and fish. Will invest in 'aquarium therapy' next...color lights and air bubbles. Life is tough right now.

Got there at 8:40am and stood outside until they opened at 9am. Didn't open the doors till 9:10am.Then when I got in there the lady who had opened the store had alot of tattoos and a attitude when I asked her if there were any other dog beds they had. Still bought a dog bed but worst experience ever.

I've loved coming here ever since I was a kid I love seeing all the pets they have a great selection and a customer service is amazing! Really good prices too.
