I was a regular customer, but today I will no longer go here.I will say, some employees are very kind and attentive. I gave an extra star to acknowledge that.I have had a really frustrating time because of many employees who blatantly ignore me, or just are really slow.I do understand that in a small town things are a lot slow paced than LA which I moved here from. Rather than attentively helping me, they rather be chatty, and make sandwiches while I was standing there at the register waiting to order my chai. After being ignored for about 5 minutesI said “Hello?”They said they will get to me and proceeded making sandwiches for several more minutes.Very frustrated I said, “Are you going to help me?”Then they called a girl from the back room, and I feel so sorry for her. I will say since maybe she will read that it wasn’t her fault.I called the manager afterwords after feeling furious. I have two sons and I can’t spend 15 minutes to wait for them to waste time.Since I have had so many days of this happening to me I will no longer be going here daily or ever again.Trying to find a way, since I really love their cafe drinks, I decided to do order pick up.The second day, I called and the worker did not even know that they make chai lattes. She asked me if I called the wrong place. WOW.I will thank those who actually know how to work in customer service. But I ask the management to address this to the employees because you have lost me and I’m sure I won’t be the last they you have lost.I advise those who are ignoring customers, being chatty and wasting time, to remember that the customer ALWAYS comes first. Keep that in mind and start to prioritize the customer first ALWAYS!

I have eaten here for years but recently had a horrible experience. It was a half an hour before their close time and they had a sign up, no bread cannot make sandwiches. Ok I tried to order a salad and I was told they had put everything away. With a half an hour to close you can't take out what you put away to make what I ordered during your business hours? Young people working in need of supervision....

Simply amazing food, great prices, and service. I've already been twice this week and will definitely be coming back regularly. Nutritious and healthy options, Pete's brand coffee too! They were also extremely fast. I really like the BLT, so fresh and yummy!

Fresh tasty food and also love the coffee and drinks there. Staff are friendly and wait time is usually brief. Also have fresh baked breads and gifts there. Pricing is very reasonable. One of my favorite places to eat.

Well when I lived in Chico I would usually go to the place once a week or so. Love there bread. I believe a sandwich is something you have to care about creating to make it good. Yeah yeah I am crazy I know. But I get no satisfaction from a sandwich thrown together. This place has very good ingredients and they take the time to properly layer and build a masterpiece sandwich. This based on their delicious bread makes for a wonder lunch. The staff in both locations and over many year I have found to be very friendly and very helpful.

Lots of choices. Nice staff. The sweet breads such as the pumpkin with chocolate chips and the lemon raspberry lacked in sweetness. The sourdough jalapeno however was spot on.

Great people, great sammich, great coffee! What more could you ask for? Maybe a little recipe for cookies or brownies? They got all the ingredients for sale too. My go-to lunch for sure. Great sandwiches, pannini's and pastries. Yum!

I love the bread here... it’s very fresh and very delicious. people are friendly ...great place.But the past few times I’ve gotten bread here I can taste the cleaning products in the bread. What I mean by this is the fragrance in the products that they clean the store with are so strong that it’s leaching into the flour thru the air... A suggestion would be to use non-fragrant cleaning products. No parfums or fragrance in a bakery would be a better option. Flour picks up the odors of the room...

This is one of those places I go back to often. They have good, healthy, sandwiches for lunch. Also lots of various types of bread to buy. Also some pre assembled packages to make cookies and other yummy stuff. Busy at lunch time! And I know why.

Really good and tasty Asian chicken sesame salad with a creamy sesame dressing. The green eggs and ham panini was also very good. Sandwiches are a-la-carte in order to keep prices down and meals small. They make many great homemade breads, and offer a loyalty program to earn a free loaf.

Excellent bread, sandwiches are always a hit. Bakery items taste so good! Love their fruit scones, lemon pound cake, sourdough bread, pumpkin chocolate chip bread, and multiple grain Dakota bread

The people are always friendly, but the coffee counter is often messy with spills and trash that doesn't get cleaned up. They are also not good about keeping the coffee pots filled and you often have to wait for them to make another pot. I don't know about other times of day but in the morning the staff seems to lack supervision and management.

Excellent! We had toast with Avocado And parmesan. So great. I had the Dakota or Montana bread (can't remember. ) THEY SELL YUMMY STUFF. Sandwiches and drinks too.

This is a wonderful place for a cup of coffee and a pastry. They make their own breads and sandwiches are phenominal. You can also buy bread and other pantry items to take home. Everyone here is so helpful and friendly..

Yum yum!! You can't get fresher than here. Absoutely delicious. I think the sourdough is my favorite. A visit here is a really good thing.

Moldy soda. Yum. Told the cashier. He tests it and says it fine. It wasn't fine. Didn't offer me a replacement/refund. Fail. Never coming back. Keep your moldy soda.
