This costco is one of the cleanest I have seen even the bathrooms. The selection is what you’d expect from a big box store with prices to match. There are a ton of employees who are all eager to serve as well making this a great all around experience.

So I stood at the trash cans in the food court trying to see which slot I'm supposed to put my trash. About 8 seconds into reading I needed to use 2 different ones. I put my stuff in the appropriate slot and notices they went to the same big trash below. Got a chuckle because guy behind me did the same thing...

Costco is one of the better "big stores" in Chico, IMHO. Their gas station is well organized; even though it's always packed, it doesn't take that long to make your way through. And it's always packed because oftentimes they have the best gas prices in town.Their eye-glasses department I feel is the best in Chico. They have the absolute lowest prices for frames/lenses versus everywhere else I've experienced. They also have a wide selection of frames for men, which has been an issue for me at other places in the past. Not only that, they took my eye insurance with no problems and I had my new glasses in just 2 weeks.Then for everything else they sell in the store, they have a nice big variety of items to choose from and their prices are normally lower than other stores. It just depends if you want to buy in bulk or not. Its become one of my family's "go to" stores that we visit at least once a month.Costco also sells a lot of seasonal, non-grocery, related items too and their selection is always changing (the whole middle section of the store). These items always get me into trouble because it's often stuff that I like a lot but they're usually bigger items. So, my wife tries to steer me away from the middle section of the store once she sees me wandering that way, lol.The last thing I wanted to mention is their food court. You can basically get lunch for pretty darn cheap, and it's usually pretty good. I know some people come here regularly just to visit the food court area. However, if the lines are really long - I tend to skip on the food court because it can get super crowded with people/carts and the lines can get unwieldy.

Always great deals to be had. The clearance items always hiding in plain sight make it an adventure every time (look for the little star in the upper right corner of the price tag. Thats the clearance prices)

Very clean for a Costco with great selection. Only drag was we went on a Sunday so it was super crowded. Worth it for the prices though.Update: went back on a Friday (december), and despite it being Christmas season, the crowds weren't too bad. Cashiers are far and get you out quick. Great experience.They had a great deal on an inflatable spa/ hot tub. Price was good.

Finally got my membership and the lady at the members help desk was exceptional..Her customer relations skill was amazing ..We got there 30 minutes before closing and never felt rushed..She was friendly and funny..I recommend a membership there ..The savings one will receive is awesome ...We go there for our dog food because my little baby girl loves the Kirkland brand wet dog food ..we save a lot buying ot from Costco instead of online at other stores

Costco is great for bulk items. Don’t buy to many perishables or else they go to waste.They put in a self checkout and it doesn’t help the lines go down.I never want boxes because I have to break them down the put them in my recycle.I like the heat and eat meals. Chicken Alfredo with broccoli florets is the best.Today the line was very short.

We went to get glasses. Took a script, picked the glasses out. The tech was very nice and was patient. Prices were decent. Transitions, progressive, frames $200. A week to get the glasses.

Shout out to the optical counter! I always have a good experience but today was just so easy after going to two different local eye drs recently I am most impressed with Costco optical. Special mention to Mindy. You rock my socks.

This standard Costco is like any other locations, but the checkout counters here were really fast and efficient. Within minutes of getting in line, they zipped us through within seconds and we were out of there. Social distancing is taken seriously here, even in the restroom there are partitions. It was a good shopping experience.

Great deals on most items. If not they are very competitive. Clean, organized, and they handle many people quite quickly. Gas price is best in town.

Another Costco, another huge Warehouse,.. another lot of people! But everything you'd expect from a huge Wholesale store. As usual, there is a good selection and an ample amount of employees to help! I do like this Costco better than the Redding one. Nice having the gas station there even though it was relatively crowded but what isn't on a Sunday at times!

What can anyone say, it's Costco. Huge warehouse filled with everything from clothes, housewares, and TV's so large you can see them from across the store. A great deli, pharmacy, bakery goods, and a $5.00 grilled chicken. Big isles and free test snacks. You must admit the staff are well groomed and very nice to be around. All over 9.5/10 because their beverages like cola, lemonade, teas are much higher than other stores. A joy to shop.

Can anyone rate Costco less than 5 stars? Probably only non-members. We're talking cheap bulk goods here folks but be warned ya spend 200$ each time ya visit. Get a membership if you don't got one already.

Unless you have a large family this isn't the place for you. This is true warehouse grocer. Everything in bulk, no bags, boxes only.The most efficient cashiers l have ever seen.

Post Bidenomics Covid, Costco is still good, but you need to be aware that not everything is a great deal anymore. So be a smart shopper now..

Costco is Costco, so the deals are good, and the item selection is good. You do have to check the expiration on some of the shelf foods, though, but the bakery is awesome, and so is the deli. The parking lot is a bit of a hassle, though, with how it's laid out. The food court is really good, too. The lines aren't too bad. They are long most times, but they do try to get ppl through fast and efficient.

Costco in general is a pretty cool place to pick up large quantities of food and supplies. This particular Costco is typical less busy than Costco's in Sacramento and Southern California. Their meats are some of the finest and $1.50 hot dog and soda is such a recession buster. Their tire center is usually too busy to take advantage of, unless you want to spend like three hours in Costco. Be wary of buying too much in one package, especially perishables. The place is also notorious for you over spending,....products are all over the place but I do recommend a shopping list unless you're ok with a $300-$400 grocery bill! Finally, the best time to go shopping is right when they open and right when they close, far fewer shoppers make for a much better shopping experience.

Busy place. Good prices on bulk items. Go early. Samples are back. Great place to get pharmacy prescriptions and hearing aids. They have yummy baked goods. Food court has reopened too. Holiday items are on display. Lots of baked goods.

Charged us $40 for a large protein powder package. Did not put it in the box nor cart with our other goods. Wife went back the next day with the receipt. They acted like they'd take care of it then didn't do a damn thing. Screw Costco Chico.

If you saw this picture, woudn't you think the prices are the ones below the items?? I bought some salmon and I was wondering why it was ringing up at the price i saw on the display it was ringing up to 20.00. I asked one of the girls watching the self check out and she directed me to one of the supervisors and I was given the answer of well thats the wrong price on there. No, sorry for the confusion or, we will honor that for you, just two girls giving me the deer in the headlights look. If I am the shopper how am i supposed to know that? Maybe take a wild guess that this item was on the wrong place??Do better in your product price placement Costco, so many years in business yall should know that. I worked in big retailera and if a customer asked that they should get that honored if it was on the display, it would have been done, no questions asked.

Love the store and love that they now have customer/member wifi. Aside from that I see a big sign for Prime grade meat. But there's only ever Choice grade. Please get some Prime grade in there. PLEASE. It's a shame because I doubt anyone who can do anything about any of this at the store will actually see this or do anything to fix these things.

Great visit to Costco today! Had to search for some things I had on my list because they move things around so much, but I ended up finding things I didn't know I wanted on the process. I call that a win-win!
