City is a tiny store - just the corner shop with general merchandise of various small items that serve a neighborhood. I usually like the white cotton shirts in this store and every winter season I go there to get some. It’s a small store with diverse stock - that’s the beauty of it.

I honestly think they should change the name to this place. This is not a Market, it is a liquor store; When you are looking for a Market you expect to find some groceries such as meat, vegetables and fruits. In addition to being a very poorly assorted liquor store, they have a very bad Customer Service. Even a 7 Eleven store has a better variety of merchandise.

The employees are not friendly. I was a daily regular customer up.until today. I would think that they would show more gratitude to customers who come and shop daily by resolving any complaints they have by resolving the problem so your happy with the product. It will now be a little bit out of my way to travel a extra five minutes but hopefully the new show I go to will appreciate my daily business and want to make sure I’m happy and pleased with the products I purchase. BTW my Roomate made the purchase today because I wasn’t feeling well. It wasn’t the right product and I went to ask for a exchange because of my diet restrictions and the employee denied my request and refused to switch out the item that had not been opened.

The employees at City Market are always friendly and helpful. Most prices are reasonable. The experience of going into this store is nostalgic. It really is one of the few places left in the San Fernando Valley, that still maintains an old school 1970's-1980's vibe. I really L OVE ❤ City Market! Great place! 👍

STOP USING YOUR DEBIT CARDS HERE!!!JUST USE CASH!!IM NOT SURE HOW MANY TIMES I BEEN JACKED FROM HERE, BUT LAST TIME I USED MY DEBIT CARD AND LATER LOOKED AT MY TRANSACTIONS,CITY MARKET CHARGED MY TRANSACTION OF $130 WITH A PURCHASE I MADE OF MAYBE $6 OR $8. I DISPUTED THE TRANSACTION ON WELLS FARGO BUT THEY DENIED IT SAYING THAT I LEGALLY MADE THAT PURCHASE USING MY PIN..IM NOT TO SURE HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SCAMMED HERE BUT THEY SURE MAYBE SCAMMED A LOT.

I guess I am a tad bias because this is the neighborhood market from when I was a teen and it still exists with everything like a major convenience store has. Over the MANY years I have never had a problem and have always sent people here, when asked where can I go to get .... 👍 ‍♂️👍

Live in NJ and someone in CA have been racking up 2 and 3 dollar charges here - and there number is invalid to speak with someone as goes to Ralph Groceries. Need to update your info so scams do not keep going.

It's a cool liquor store, a lil over price but it's the only liquor store around the area. Unless you go to Reseda blvd to the 711 or the grocery store on Topanga canyon and Reseda boulevard.

Needs to update their phone number it was 10 pm I called their number they have it says they are closed but I called the number just in case site was wrong and someone answered saying that they were open till midnight now I'm not even sure who i just called other than that store is a great store just needs to update that one thing I walked to the liquor store for nothing :/
