Its location is not not my neighborhood store, but me & my maltese always love to visit all Petco stores! ❤The only thing I ask management in administration is to please bring back the rewards we use to receive through email. I spend plenty of money to hardly ever, I cannot recall , receiving a discount or rewards as a thank you for shopping @ Petco.

Nice place to look around alone or with your children if you are by a Petco. We got to see all the animals for sale. Employees were friendly and helpful.

I had 3 appointment for the rabbis shots at store #12601 and they didn’t take me in due to them discriminating my pets for their breeds. So unprofessional and rude, never coming back to this petco.

I bought 2 bags of aquarium plant substrate and the worker pointed me to the right direction and exactly what I was looking for. She was awesome, Cerritos location. The bag was placed on the shelf that was labeled 32 dollars per bag. When the items were scanned it turned out they were 60 dollars a bag. We checked and double checked and I bought them anyway because I needed them. This is getting to be common to put stuff on the shelf. Irritating, but I won't hold it against you. Also, can you please do a daily inspection for dead fish in your tanks. Those animals are treated very poorly at Cerritos and Lakewood.

Took my little Shih Tzu dog to the grooming Sunday morning 9 AM Christine M was the one to give her a cut didn’t get a call so I went to the groomer salon around 12:30 PM. I heard my dog whimper right when I walked in.. My husband went to go check on her he said they were still working on her cutting her nails then we go to register to check out and that’s when they attempt to speak to us at the register saying that my dog was cut “minor “that they will take her to a vet due to store policy..We didn’t get our dog back till 7:30 PM that evening.William the store manager was very helpful and updated us throughout the day. However, the lady that cut my dogs hair, I feel was very Rough and did a horrible job on her hair just for the simple fact that my dog had no more hair left on her body to even cut and she was still chopping away when we got there at 12:30 PM that day. Be careful with who you booked your pet with, and I know accidents happen however, let’s try not to make accidents happen when they can be avoided. They sent my dog home with a cone and a bandage now she’s on antibiotics and the cut is still very much exposed. Some thing we have to continue working on. Hopefully it doesn’t get infected. Be careful with your fur babies.

love shopping here for my pets. very clean store with all supplies for your pet's need. Great customer service. Recently they have started vetco clinic . I took my dog here . my dog had dry ears and dry nose. Dr was great who has examined my dog. Nurse was super friendly and cooperative. great experience with them .

Who would not be disappointed if you took your Dog for Grooming and upon picking her up, she have poops all over. I was impressed when I took my dog the first two times for grooming and etc. but my third time last weekend was a nightmare. I don’t mind paying $120 for every visit. But after this incident, I will never go back to this store in Cerritos.

Very poor management. Penny “was not customer friendly,Took my dog in to get a grooming, which is totally understandable dog needed a little extra care on the grooming part, but I received a phone call that my dog was “going” to need a little bit of a extra brush out . I said well ok . Exactly 10 min later my dog was ready for pick up so it was questionable ?upon paying the amount I noticed it was $60 extra charge for what she stated needed extra brush out. I asked was it upon your own discretion to do that before my permission, she(the groomer. Alicia) said yes.I was very unpleased with that, so this (Alicia ) decides what would be best for your dog, and then charge you extra. I asked to speak to supervisor manager, which was Penny, and very unhelpful Petco, is great company, but the two individuals penny and Alicia need retraining.

Every time I shop here the service is great!! Today I went to pick up my online order which had a bit of a problem due to being out of inventory which made the amount of my total a little wonky!! Patty and Andre helped out and made sure everything was correct!! Thank you so much!! This is why I love shopping at Petco the employees really care!! I live right next to the Lakewood Petco but will drive here because the selection is a bit bigger!! Thank you Patty and Andre for making my experience great!!

Bought a bag of puppy food and it had moths inside, one even flew out of the bag. Some bags of puppy food are even dusty like they been sitting there for a while. Very disappointing it’s not the first time I experience this from a different Petco, one other time it had silk worms. I also bought a container of 500 ct giant mealworms for my son’s gecko and it had a bug in there and it smelled rotten, some of the mealworms were dead. It’s very disturbing and gross, it’s sad that they sell puppy food and other pet food in these conditions. I will no longer buy any pet food from a Petco.

It's a great place to buy things for your pets, it has all kinds of food, treats, and toys to choose from. The staff were friendly and happy to help. I highly recommend buying pet supplies at Petco.

Perhaps because the space was cramped, it was inconvenient to find the item I was looking for, but I still bought the dog clothes I wanted to buy.It was a shame that there weren't many dog clothes.

I like this place is nice and clean. But it was kind of frightening to walk in with my small Chihuahua thank goodness I had them in the shopping cart cuz this man came in with this huge big black dog that you could tell that that man could barely hold on to him he was that strong I took off to the back as quickly as possible I don't think I'll go back I'll shop online better but I don't like to have to pay shipping

I wanted to like this clinic however my experience was unacceptable both times interacting with the staff. My pet's information was entered incorrectly during our first visit and instead of correcting the information, the receptionist blamed me for the mistake. The receptionist at that time said just to call to have the information corrected because she could not be bothered to correct the information while I was there. I tried calling the office for 2 whole weeks and I could not get in touch with anyone in the office. I left voicemails, I emailed the manager directly, I tried calling the store directly and no one was able to help me over the phone. No one associated with Petco or the clinic provided any support, assistance or any information any of the multiple times that I called the store. I had to take time off during my weekend to go into the store/clinic and ask someone for assistance with correcting my pet's information since she was out of her flea medication. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone, even though the veterinarian is a great doctor that has seen my dog many times in the past at a different location. This clinic is terrible, the administrative staff seems to be annoyed and is not willing to help or take accountability for their work. They fail to understand that for some families their pets are family members and it's important that they treat the animals that they see with respect and dignity.

They did excellent helped me and provided the full care for my pup even though I had some financial issues at the moment. I’m grateful. They recommended epsom salt for my dogs paw and it worked. The foxtail poked out and I pulled it out.
