42 items. We had to take 42 items through self checkout because cashier Sarah decided to close her checkout lane and place a barrier. There were 5 employees watching us scan 42 items and none offered to help or mentioned that Sarah would be reopening her lane 5 minutes later. Interestingly she was welcoming and accommodating to the customers waiting with 1 or 2 items. "Sorry for the wait" she says because they had to wait behind us. No apology, nothing. This was possibly the worst service I've had at any grocery store. Please avoid this place if possible.

The store is in a good location, (most) the staff are friendly. The store is cleanly however, I was disappointed that when shopping in the lunch meat isle, I noticed a lot of discolored meat. It was so bad that I was afraid to even buy any lunch meat at all. Whoever is in charge of that section should really pay attention to what the products look like. This is not the first time I’ve seen this there. There was at least 15 packages of lunch meat that was old and gray in color. That does not happen overnight!! Someone is NOT paying attention. It doesn’t make me want to spend my money there and instead travel to Turlock and shop at Safeway.

These Save Mart stores are like catastrophic accidents unfolding. Can’t help but watch as they slowly die and wither away. Usually very cluttered and tons of outdated products. Don’t make a special trip here it’s not worth it

Had such a terrible experience there the cashier was so rude she didn’t say one word to me. She kept talking to the bagger about leaving her lock in her pocket she threw my food down the conveyor when we were leaving I told her happy holidays, and she started laughing. She’s very very rude and unprofessional.

I do not appreciate being followed or my food being tossed around with attitude by the crystalyn the woman cashier with the lip piercing who thought it was cool to cuss in front of her customers and talk to the bagger employee about her kids school day tomorrow as if i wasnt there as she was tossing my food rudely to the register. Please correct this. Just got done shopping here. The manager was cool though as i love someone who stays positive no matter what.

Always well stocked with friendly staff! The only thing I don't like about this store is the parking lot. It has a small town grocery store feel with the benefits of a chain store.1/28/24 - no change to my opinion of this store. Still friendly staff and always well stocked.

Outside the bakery goods this is the worst representation of a save mart I’ve ever been to . Ppl have no manners or respect for their customers here . It’s happened on multiple occasions. It has to start with their manager only way to explain multiple employees w this attitude. Sarah gotta be high as kite the elder lady got to be slow as a turtle idk why she’s behind the desk at your busiest hours . Please change your name , this is not a save mart

One of the girls were very rude in the deli I went in at 7pm everything was put away already. I had asked when they close up. Gal told me she doesn't know. I said 6pm? Then quotes no 7pm. Smh

They have the worst bag boys. There is no bag in the auto check out so AFTER you pay for your bag you have to turn to the bag boy and ask for one More than once they gave me the impression that it was really taxing them to hand me a bag. And the good old days when the bag boy said, "yes, sure here you go". are over. All you get is an attitude and a bag resentfully handed to you. When are there not bags in the auto check out area? Why must I ask a sullen bag boy for one, and get treated like a beggar if I do. I will never shop there again.

Today I stopped by SaveMart to buy some apples. Their produce is always amazing and today was no different. Although the price was a tad high, I'm sure it was just a sign of the times as well as the fact that apples are currently out of season. As always, the staff were courteous and efficient. There is no better supermarket chain in California!

Variety of all is great, but cashier did not pay attention when I handed payment and was giving me change for a $20 instead of a $50. Also an item that wasn't mine was placed in my cart and cashier said he was sure he charged me fir it when I told him it wasn't mine, so I agreed to take then he said he had not charged it. So paying more attention is definetly a must for this young man as well as for the bagger.

Very pleased it was my first time in one of these stores and I was surprised how clean and friendly it was. It was really nice and cool inside too. However it was not very intuitively laid out like we had to ask where cheese and lunch meat were and they happen to be over in a refrigerated aisle by the frozen food but other than that the store was immaculately clean the employees were extremely friendly very happy the only reason I didn't mark it five stars is because of the layout of the store and it not being very intuitive.

Amazing store. Super fresh produce. Awesome deli. Amazing bakery. Staff is always helpful and nice. They talk to you more as if they were a friend, rather than someone who makes you feel like they are talking to you just because it's their job.The store is clean and beautiful. Not sure who the builder was, but they did an amazing job

I've avoided going to savemart since the new owners. Every time I give it another chance, I am reminded why I stopped shopping here and today is no exception. I've been in a stagnant line for fifteen minutes. Not to mention their selection has gone down along with their decrease in store-made goods. What a shame about this once great chain of grocery stores.

I love this store. You can fine really nice groceries and things here that are hard to find elsewhere, and it's a family feel environment. I think I've been here less than 10 times, but each time I love the welcome I get and the classiness of the store and just want to come back for the ease of shopping without the stress of larger chain stores. Feels more like an enlarged Mom and Pop store, than a grocery chain. Like a place you grew up, and that you enjoy going back to visit. It reminds me of the old days as a child when we would shop at Lucky's and the folks knew us by name. Thank You, Save Mart.

This place is pretty good. There produce is always fresh. They have done a great job of keeping there shelves stocked during these times. I will add that the works in the deli section could be a lil more friendly. I do realize they deal with alot of ppl. Just saying us all. :)
