I heard a young boy cashier ask a lady if she was sick. She was not. This is the height of rudeness. There's no need for cashiers to comment on customers appearance. If I say you look ugly, poor, trashy, tired, sick, this is all inappropriate. Customer service associates must know its not okay to be commenting on someone's appearance. You don't know what they're going through, and even if they are sick, tired, or whatever, they surely do not want to hear that they look that way! There was also only 2 cashiers for tens of people trying to check out. The self check out was closed as well as the door marked "entrance," which was barricaded with stacks and rows of shopping carts. The store is open until midnight, but it was unclear if it was open at all since the entry was blocked. Everyone had to go in through the door marked "exit only." Prices were generally high.

Be very careful, I was there today and myself and another customer saw a rat running on the top shelf by the soda's. I told a worker in the freezer section, he acted as if it wasn't a big deal continued to stock the freezer goods. After seeing it again or maybe another one further down I went and told the manager. She was very apologetic.

Staff are always so friendly. Especially the meat section area, always asking if I'm finding everything okay. I always feel safe and it is very convenient for me to come here. Even when they may be short staffed, they are all so awesome and hardworking. Praying the right people will apply and get hired so they won't be overwhelmed as I hear on their intercom about being understaffed. I love all the wonderful workers here, its always so clean and organized.

If the cashiers have a problem dealing with WIC programs maybe they should let their company know cause I just had a lady who was frustrated cause she was the only one open but still wasn’t professional calling me out in front of Everyone saying next time do things little by little like how? when I’m using my wic card and she still had the guts to say to the next customer I’m sorry for the long wait when it only took 10mins I have customer service skills for many years and that wasn’t professional, I always come all the time and never had a problem with anyone, always sweet and nice to me but that person was really out of pocket.

Although they layout is a little odd I do like this store. It's very clean inside, especially their produce, and meat departments. Staff are not only friendly but very helpful when it comes to finding items. Products very in savings depending on the item as to whether its cheaper elsewhere but that's normal. So yeah a 10 out of 10, for cleanliness,attitude and availability.

Usually when I go shopping here its less crowded (morning) and the employees are courteous and I've really had no problem shopping here. The amount of walking around the store just to get to the center aisle is a bit far, but overall the store layout once you've been in a few times is easy to navigate.

To be honest this is usually my gontonstore but as of tonight no more. It's Easter so like everyone, we were getting last minute things. My husband picked a ham that was the smallest and cheapest because it's a small gathering this year. We get to the register and the lady in front of us got her ham, the cashier was questioning the price said she could probably get it cheaper the lady was already packing and she was just over it. Don't blame her. Then it comes to us. The cashier tells us she thinks it's mislabeled and we could probably get it cheaper. This time she didn't give us a choice. She made us wait. Guy takes the ham comes back with a new label and i had to ask what it was just to find out its almost $10 more! We didn't get th ham. The managers reply when I called was "oh, I'm sorry that happened. I'll check with the meat department." What happened to the days when if it was mislabeled you pay what was on there? I'm honestly disgusted by this store tonight.

It's nice & clean but prices on there fruit need to be readable. I got a bag of cherries and I thought the sign read $5.99 a bag but I ended up paying $13.58 for the bag The cashier said it said $5.99 a pound.. it leads you to believe your paying $5.99 a bag...... Not good!!!!

All of the employees have been so helpful and very friendly, and the meat department, first time in years, I've been able to talk a person at a meat counter, with actual skills, went on Thursdayafternoon, told him I needed 6large T-bones 1 /12" thick bonein, 1/4" ribbon of fat on edges with light marbling throughout,He said give him 10min. "Wow"I watched him cut 6 in 5min. he brought them to me, said that's the way you like them right, and "Wow" I'm definitely impressed by your expertise I said, and Iwas even more impressed with the price $48.78, for 6 steaks.I cooked them on the BBQ, they were so nice and tender , andflavorful, just melted like butter in the mouth.

Unsuspecting, for a place that has a name Iike Food For Less it's just the opposite. Their prices are in the same range as Save Mart Raley's and Safeway. I was so disappointed at the whole experience and never will returnAt least at Save Mart or Raley's they bag the groceries for you. They have very few store brands that also keep the prices higher. They really need to change the name to Food For More

This store was so helpful. I always have a great experience when I shop. Good prices compared to several stores I've tried. It was the helpful service that I really liked. The manager was awesome!

They store sells mostly groceries. I like this store since it easy to get what I need and go pay for it. I know where everything is, and it makes sense. Produce are at the front of the store. Meat, dairy, and eggs are at the back of the store. All the sodas, chips, and frozen or refrigerated items are on the left. The layout makes it enjoyable to shop here. I am always able to find what I need here.The downside is that the lines for check out can be long during those busy hours after 5pm. It's not so bad because they open up more lines when that happens.Their prices are cheaper than most, so you get the most bang out of your buck.

Great place open 24 hrs. Clean and well organized. The food is cheaper than cost less and other markets. But watch out because people put their dogs inside carts where food belongs. Getting better in the veggies section. And don't forget they now have fresh meats seafood all kinds at their remodeled section.

Clean i have been impressed with there produce section. Very neat. I don't regularly shop there but have been in the past few weeks. Love they're produce. I will continue to go back. I still feel they can improve on they're WIC milk sections since I can only get 1% lactose milk which they didn't offer but I didn't ask for further assistance.

Great prices on all the food items. Huge produce selection with some amazing sale prices. Hands down Food 4 Less is the best store to stock up on staple items and produce. However, the selection for specialty cooking/prep items and cheeses is a little thin. The employees were very friendly and helpful when I asked for help finding items in my grocery list too!

Food 4 Less has been an exceptional shopping experience. Most of the people that work there are Mexicans which I feel very comfortable being around because most of them are kind and humble. They also greet me with a smile and are exceptionally friendly and helpful as much as they can be.It's always difficult and a big responsibility to keep a smile and just show up to work to perform an exceptional job. I respect these people because throughout the day they are very resilient and try to do their best at work.I will continue to shop here because I feel very comfortable being around friendly people. That always makes a big difference when a person goes anywhere weather shopping or just going to a restaurant.

I don't know if it's Inflation but it seems like the prices at foods for less is starting to go up like everywhere else that that to me is kind of scary because I've always gone to foods for less because of great deals and great prices especially on produce.

Always a solid choice for low prices and decent selection. Can get quite busy but lines usually move fast and staff is friendly. The produce is fresh. Nice meat counter and onsite bakery make it a great one stop shop for an affordable grocery trip.

Great deals, always have different options, and good quality food. However, lines get long and they always have only 2 registers open which is very annoying. Sometimes I have to get something quick but end up going to Walmart because of lines.

I whent in at around 9pm for 2 items that I needed to finish my weekly shopping and I totally forgot it was the day before thanksgiving 🤦🏽‍♂️ it was super packed, they had 6 registers open and the lines were at least 8 to 10 people deep in each register, to my surprise a customer that was next in line to pay seen me that I had only 2 items and she waved me over and said to go in front of her she was a super nice lady, I even offered to pay for her groceries and she did not let me I even tried to give the cashier the money and she didn't want to take it either, not gonna lie the nice older lady truly made my night with that nice gesture! I just wish that the cashier would've taken my money to pay for her groceries for thanksgiving.

I just moved here and the experiences I have had at this store are THE BEST! The store is ALWAYS very clean and well organized.. Couldn't ask for nicer people. Through out the store the employees have been courteous and very friendly.. I was made to feel like a valued customer and very welcome.It's nice to have the lower prices, but that's not the only reason I will continue do shop here.

This store in Modesto/Ceres is very clean and bright inside unlike the one in Missouri where I live. Everything is well stocked and with a lot of options!! There was 1 item they didn't have but no biggie.All in all, I'd definitely shop here if I were to ever move back to Cali.

Meat department worker named Frank was very unprofessional and meanwith a senior citizen. His customer service leaves much to desire. He was very rude in helping this senior citizen with the order of meat she was asking for. Did not want to give her the meat she wanted shuffled the meat and told her she had to wait for the meat she wanted. This employee named Frank serve the next person... And was mean cause the meat this senior citizen wanted was given to the other person. That was not right. Manager should do something about it.

Great place to buy food at a discounted price. I frequent this place as well as the SaveMart up the street. They have a decent meat section and almost everything you could want in vegetables.
