Dollar general is great every day store ill travel further just to get to one because I save money even if I use more gas to get to one I still save money. The one in Ceres Ca. By Ace hardware is awesome! Awesome friendly people work there don't treat you like u done stole something they treat you like your part 9f the grocery store family they care what your going to make for dinner and they help you find everything you need. Workers are energetic aware always ready to help and direct you to the right direction. DOLLAR GENERAL has integrity if the sign says a discount then there really is a discount when you look at your receipt latter you see that you got the discount unlike some stored the sight says discount but latter looking at receipt there was no discount calculated any where just a sign promisesing it but not not delivering any discount .Dollar General has integrity it shows in your pocket book it does mine

Very nice with a lot of variety. My only negative would be all the boxes in the aisles with employees stocking the shelves. It would be nice if they could do that other than when the store is open.

Very rude customer service was called names by the young cash register in front if a entire store of people then when I called a name back they told me to never come back to the store I was then follow outside the store an this kid was taunting me saying haha you can't come back bye bye girl we won't see you here again. I go to this store sometimes multiple times a day was always treated great but this kid ruined me even feeling comfortable to go there

This Dollar general has become my one-stop-shop. I am a cleaning lady with a very large dog (shepherd/mastiff mix) and a husband who is always needing jeans. Walmart gives me anxiety attacks. Dollar General is the only store that carries EVERYTHING that I need, including food (and those jeans!), as well as my cleaning supplies at reasonable prices and decent quality. It's a pleasure and actually RELAXING to shop their store, which is always clean and stocked. Their products are always clearly signed and their weekly ads are actually good deals on everyday things. They are also the ONLY store than stayed stocked with food, TP and cleaning products when the panic buying began at the onset of the stay-at-home orders. Their staff, especially Sonja, Devon and Frank are AWESOME every time I go there. Not once have I had any issues or problems with shopping, parking or pleasantness, even when lines got long the staff and customers still smiled.

All of the cashiers/managers are really cool. I buy a few things, several times a week from this store.I've bought art supplies, bathroom rugs/accessories, car cleaning products, kids books, kids clothing, slippers, some make-up, food/beverage products and so much more....😊One thing that keeps happening that irritates me, is the (handicap parking) always has people parked in them with no placard/nor plate/nor handicap!!! It's just wrong 😡😤😠

Dollar General is a really good place to go they have lots of variety of all kinds of stuff I mean everything you could almost think of they have it like 5 Blazers Blazers they even have belts they have everything you could pretty much think of bluetooth speakers Bluetooth wireless headphones they got candy soda they got holiday cards they are toys their baby toys they got they own the baby aisle that they got me they got everything is really good place to go and don't cost too much either

Dollar General, seller of alot of things you use on a regular basis. Their locations are convenient for most of Modesto and reasonable prices on most items. If you need a couple of last minute party supplies or other "I forgot to get...", this is the place. I get almost everything I need for cleaning in one place and the prices beat the big stores. If, however, you need to get the "works" for a planned event (birthday's, Super bowl, graduation, etc.) you'll do much better at grocer's outlets and big box stores. DG is rebranding how they sell, and I think they're heading in the right direction.That's taps out my input. Thanks for playing along.Be safe.Peace

They have very nice staff such as one employee named Danny also they have a variety of items and always in stock in addition it's by a nice neighborhood the downside tho is no restrooms

Easy to find products, cheap prices, great for a weekend fill-up. Long lines sometimes makes the time go by slower, but a lot of people are usually there shopping.

My wife' and I shop there all the time. the only issued this store don't sell is fresh fruits. and veggie however if you continue east bound there is a larger store that sells just about anything you need.

Bad experience you get a coupon for $5 of if a purchase of $25 but the store will no honor the coupon because it didn't have a barcode so first why do they tale you that you can get $5 off if you go back on Saturday if they are no going to honor the coupon.
