Absolutely loved this quaint little restaurant and bakery. It is decorated with antiques and old memorabilia. Our server was so friendly and sweet. Lunch was great.The maple bars were huge and the best I've had in a long time.

Spent a couple days here in Cederville. Ate at this place twice. Lunch and dinner. Was absolutely fantastic! Was a little busy on the last First Friday, but holy cow worth the wait! The prime rib was friggen delicious, tender and loaded with flavor. Enough for two people!

Hubby and I enjoyed breakfast here and then came back for prime rib. That prime rib filled the plate and was cooked to perfection. We loved the atmosphere and books on the table to peruse. Employees were great conversationalists! We took home a huge cinnamon roll that we enjoyed for breakfast the next day. I have to say, the bread served with meals was perfection. Amazing bakery. I'm so glad we spent time here.

What a lovely place to eat!My husband and I were visiting on our honeymoon and came here for breakfast three times during the week and were impressed each time. The fresh baked cinnamon rolls, the fresh toast, the sausage! I had the chicken fried steak and it was the best I've had. Everything was delicious. Additionally everyone was friendly and accommodating.My husband loves apricot jam and there was homemade that was the best he has ever had.We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!

The food was great, as was the service. Delicious freshly baked/homemade bread and other pastries! The second time we've been here, and have been very pleased each time. Customer service has always been 100%! This was the first we've eaten meals here (the other visits were for the bread and pastries), and we were not disappointed! Thanks for a great experience. (Pictures are of rhe homemade chocolate elcair and a freshly made bear claw with apples that we took to go... smelled delicous!!)

So I plowed into the French toast. I should have gotten half order. The thickest around! But good ... with refrigerated male syrup and coffee today couldn't go wrong.....I rolled out of there like a stuffed pandaThe number of stars Country Hearth gets speaks for itself. Staff is friendly and prompt. Neat to be able to see puttering in kitchen too :)

What a beautiful small restaurant! We had great lunch, the tuna sandwich was amazing. Also the cinnamon rolls and the eclairs are one of the best we ever had. If we ever come back to Cedarville, we’ll get to the Country Hearth again.

Came here last year and had an amazing breakfast. Stayed at hot springs. We came this year and got a Turkey sandwich. Fresh bread! Oh heavens a lot of food!!! You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure. Sweet people 🧡 YUMMY TURN OVERS!!!

Such a cute and warming dining experience. Truly matches its name. I had the fried fish basket. It had homemade potato salad which was amazing in the lettuce cup. Crispy fish. Great people who worked and own the restaurant. Lots of history, books, toys for kids to stay entertained. Bakery as well. I didn't get to try any baked goods but they looked delicious.Really great place to eat if you're in Cedarville or even passing through :) can't wait to go back.Sorry about the photo. The presentation was equally as amazing before I put the ketchup on

The place looks nice and has a good small town feeling.It took 20-30mins to have the original drink order taken. 2 teas and an orange juice.The wait staff switched during this time and the new person didn't have information passed to them properly (she couldn't read the other person's writing). After close to an hour our food order was taken, and after it finally arrived we had to ask where our original tea order was and had to remind them what we ordered. Opted not to have the orange juice at this time.After almost 2 hours now passed, went up to ask about our bill as no one was coming to help us any longer since they only staff one person at a time.I asked about having our tea bags included as the "included coffee" since we didn't have that after the long wait and weren't offered it.The restaurant owner refused saying I was trying to get out of paying for tea, and their tea costs more than the coffee.I asked about getting a coffee to go that was included, and she also refused saying we didn't order our food to go.She blamed us for not asking for the coffee, stating they didn't have time to ask us if we wanted one with our food order.She also made sure to say I need to pay or she'll call the police.This ended up being the worst experience I've had with a restaurant in my life and will never return.Still rated 2 stars because I liked the food in the end.

This place is great!!! Stayed at the hot springs and ate at the country hearth for breakfast! We watched them hand make the donuts and cinnamon rolls! It was so good that we went back for dinner again that night and brought home donuts for breakfast the next day! Staff was friendly and gave us great service!!! Wonderful small town experience. Wish more places were like this one!

Nice looking place but very slow waitress even it was not busy (morning hours). We ended up waiting almost for an hour for a breakfast. Tea that we ordered at the very beginning was served as the very last thing and that all after asking where is it. We had no coffee (even it was included in breakfast) and asked for including the tea in the whole price. Answer was direct no. Owner was rude. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Food was great with generous proportions The fish was a little overcooked in the breading was tough but other than that it was good. They only had one waitress and she was running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to take care of 20 or so tables. It was a little warm in the building but they did turn on the swamp cooler when I requested it.

Great spot for breakfast! The toast is the best toast I have ever had, be sure not to skip it if you’re not usually a toast eater. Hand-shredded hash browns too. Wish we were here for Mexican night on Tuesdays! Sure it would be amazing.

I like the food offering. However, there is something missing that I can not pinpoint. On one occasion, there was only white bread available. The hashbrowns from my perspective could be less oily. Creamer was not available. However, milk was offered as a substitute.The coffee is sadly very average.I liked the wood burning stove that provided heat and atmosphere.

Great food, friendly service! The only thing that needs improvement is the coffee, but the bacon, and the home baked bread are awesome, hence the 5 stars. And the hash browns are the best I’ve ever had!!!! (Hence the 5 stars)I almost glad I don’t live close….. I would eat here far too often!

We were staying at the hot springs for a few nights and decided to eat out one evening so tried this place. Husband had the prime rib special with salad, garlic bread, and baked potato; I had the tri-tip steak with salad, garlic bread and fries. Holy Cow! Huge servings! Great service from really nice people! The bread they made for the garlic toast was excellent! My steak was exceptionally seasoned! We shared a chocolate eclair for dessert! Will most definitely be back!
