Your employee is only 50% worth if at all...he only helps female customers. I asked for some switches and he points to an aisle in which I never found any switches but a woman walks in and he escorts them to the same aisle I was on. Will not be taking my business where you're outta stock on half your items and employees have attitudes and prejudices.

Check out this local hardware store when you come to enjoy the lake. And if you live here You already know what a great community hardware store It is. Get all the paint supplies and paint you need to freshen up your home. They sell Cabot which is great for decks And if you have a plumbing problem they have the parts you need. Come to cedar Glen where the help is friendly and get what you need to fix up your place.

I have lived in the mtns and shopped at this hardware store for 25 years. Never before today, 09-15-21 at around 11:45 a.m. have I been treated so badly by a checkout clerk. I was at checkout, and he expected me to know the price of an item. He followed me back to the aisle where the item was, then told me to find it myself, and left. After I found the item again, I saw him busily helping another customer on another aisle, staying with him and offering his help and advice. I brought this to his attention, and he became defensive and combative, instead of conciliatory. The manager also couldn’t be bothered to apologize. You lost a 25 year customer today.

Not many hardware stores to choose from, so it's fortunate that the people here provide excellent customer service and had all the basic things we needed. They were very welcoming and helpful, which is nice since we are new to the mountain.

Thesse guys know a lot about a lot. Always helpful and upbeat. And I can't think of more then one or two times out of the hundred I've been there, where they didn't have either exactly what I needed, or something close enough I could live with. And if you need specialty or large items. just order online and pick it up that week.

A good general store, with forthcoming and helpful staff, and it will get you out of a jam in the snow. But a little overpriced and out of the way. Excellent if you live in Cedar Glen though.
