A hidden gem that had so many memorable moments you will look forward to your next visit. This bed and breakfast is close to Gurnville and Bodega Bay. Gurnville is a cute town with shops, food and music. Bodega Bay offers majestic views of the coast and amazing clam chowder. Must go for both but must stay at Raymond’s Bakery. We arrived Friday night and they had live music, amazing pizza and a bar until 9pm ( only Fridays ) Cute rooms that are dog friendly. We stayed in the bakers loft which at 4 am we could smell the amazing pastries being baked for our morning breakfast downstairs . Two plates of freshly baked heavenly pastries and freshly roasted coffee beans, ready for grinding and brewing, were delivered to our room each morning. I’ve never had a private baker before…my wife and I loved it. This gem is nestled in the forest, you see trees reach to the sky, hear kids laughing and playing music in the distance at a music camp, and a babbling stream near by that just adds to your relaxing stay. The owner Mark and his family are so lovely and kind. It’s like visiting old friends you haven’t seen in a while. We can’t wait to visit again. So many memorable moments we want to relive again and again.

Took my family for a long weekend to stay in one of the cabins behind the bakery and explore the surrounding area (great hiking, vineyards, abs the coast all an easy drive away). Was an amazing experience staying among the redwoods, having a fire every night, Mark and family were wonderful hosts, making our first family vacation with our 1 yo special and brought over delicious fresh baked goods every morning. Hope to find an excuse to go back in the new year.

Just had an amazing encounter here. We stopped by and they were closed for some renovations, but Mark ran out and offered us some food he had on hand just in case someone came by. He was so kind and gracious, and the food was AMAZING. Don't miss this special spot on the Cazadero Hwy!

The Friday night live music and pizza is a great experience. I got the pesto and tomato pizza, delish! The cookies and bread are also wonderful. I look forward to going back. What a fun and welcoming atmosphere!

I stayed one of the cottage here for just one night, which was the best night I've had so far among all the travels I had. It was well.. FASCINATED! . I truly recommend this place for all people who will visit here, and I absolutely loved all the bread from this bakery too. I mean it, I am not a such a fan of bread, but trust me, this place will give you whole different world of food! I admire his business here, and even though I lived in SF, which took me about 2 hours to get here, but I will definitely visit again!Thank you very very much for everything, and see you again Mark!BTW, I love the family who lives here adorable kids :)

My stay here was very nice. I enjoyed being out in nature. This is a prestine and beautiful area. I definitely want to come back. Also Cazadero has a very cool community I enjoyed meeting a few of the locals all were very nice.

Raymond's Bakery is not normally open, but if you happened upon the owner Mark, he may offer you coffee and pastries for a donation.Community pizza on Friday evenings is a hoot, great way to meet the neighbors and enjoy some music -- thank you Mark for this great initiative.You can find Mark and his baked goods at the Santa Rosa Open Air market on Saturdays at the Larkfield area north of Santa Rosa.

Saturday, Aug 17, there will be fresh tomatoes provided by Mr. Harry Leras, yard art by Bonnie Larson, and of course, Marcell with her goodies. There with goodies from the bakery.Patti Goodwin will be selling bbq tickets for the Old Time BBQ happening labor day weekend.On Friday nights they serve wine, pizza, and have live music. Great place to hang out and enjoy the woods.

Been completely addicted to the Raymond's heavenly baked goods the last week I've been in the Caz for a week-long holiday in the Sonoma area. The blueberry and blackberry turn overs are perfectly golden mix of sweet and tart, without a hint of overdone sweet or overly tart. The organic flour based sourdoughs and rustic French baguettes are better than the original sourdoughs I had in SF and can complete with the Parisian bakeries for the baguette (quite a feat in the US of A). Mark and Liz are amazing and so are all the people who work at the cafe, whether it be recommending their fave based on your palette or making you a great latte to your (my, very specific) specifications.... Along with Tartine in SF, it's the best I've had in the bay area and one of the top I've had around the country!!
