Lesa and her groomers are absolutely amazing!!! Lesa took in my mom’s dog that has been rejected by other groomers due to her biting. Lesa took her no questions asked and was absolutely amazing with her!!! I took my boy in as well and both of them smelled so good and were silky smooth to the touch. I would recommend Cayucos Unleashed dog and cat groomers to anyone! I will definitely be going there next time!!!

Amazing!!! I cannot say enough great things about Cayucos Unleashed and the owner Lisa! I'm visiting the area (up here for a month) and needed to get my two Maltese bathed and trimmed. My boy has separation anxiety and has had a few traumas. My girl is just 4 pounds and I witnessed a daycare worker drop her to the ground--she literally almost died in my arms. Long story short, I'm a nervous "mom." Making an appointment was easy--Lisa answered the phone and because the connection was bad, responded to my text right away. I had read the other great reviews and even though they needed a bath/trim last week, I happily took her first available this week! When I arrived, I went through everything with her and she was super understanding. My boy is a growler and I explained that if there was any trouble I'd come back and get him. He's not a biter, but you never know. Lisa explained that she works with abused dogs, rescues, etc. She explained that if she needed to stop and do a little at a time (even to bring him back to finish another day), she would. I know she sensed my nervousness in leaving them--I even apologized for being a nervous Nelly! She was beyond great--about 1.5 hours after leaving them, she send me a video to let me show me and let me know they were fine . When I went to pick them up, she let me know that he didn't growl at all--that's all Lisa. I'm confident that he felt safe and secure in her hands! Let's talk about the haircuts--beyond fantastic--they both look phenomenal! We're looking to move up to the area, and I'm so glad I have a fantastic groomer who I can trust with my furbabies. If you need a new groomer if you live in the area or if you're just visiting, I would definitely give Lisa a call. I'm beyond grateful to Lisa for a truly amazing experience--for them and me!

We’ve been taking our special needs doodle here for grooming and Lisa has been doing a great job, thoughtful and kind and intuitive. She takes it nice and easy with Jade but still manages to get her in and out rather quickly, recommended we don’t use the dryers on her but let her air dry instead. Last week I showed up on the wrong appointment day and Lisa fit us in right away, very gracious. We are fans!

Took my puppy for her 1st nail trim and was treated respectful was even given Christmas treats for her and they went out of their way and trimmed the hair around her eyes to keep from irritation. Puppy breed new to me she even answered question I had about grooming.

We have a feisty Bassett Hound. Unleashed had amazing success trimming his nails. Highly recommend the 9-10am Saturday dog clinic.

1 month ago I started bringing my 4 1/2 month old bernadoodle here for a puppy grooming boot camp. They worked patiently with her until she was comfortable being groomed and now she loves it. The staff are so kind and very gentle with her. This is my big girl’s forever groomer.

Such a great place! We stopped here on a road trip up the coast and they got us in quickly, had great prices and did such a wonderful job! Everyone was so friendly, and the place was very clean and nice. So happy with how my dogs turned out. Would absolutely recommend!!

If you have a pet in need of grooming ... DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS PLACE . I MEAN NEVER , EVER GO THERE . I took my cat 🐈 there after making an to have some " matts " removed from his fur . The woman and her assistant, using clippers did a " hack job " . Literally cutting him down to his skin . Then they DIDN 'T GET ALL THE MATTS . They left 2 behind . When I first walked in their door , there was a man waiting for his pet . No one came out so I began talking with the man . Soon the owner came out and like ATTILA THE NUN , told us to be quiet . I thought ... " This is crazy ! " As I was handing over my cat , I asked how much it was going to be for her services . She said $ 55.00 . I was going to pay with my card . She said she ONLY ACCEPTED CASH OR A CHECK . Now when I first contacted her by phone about 2 weeks prior to my visit ... why didn 't she tell me what her " very unusual policy " was ... considering I had NEVER been to her bussiness before . So I had to go back to Morro Bay , go to my credit union ATM , get the cash , wait until she called to say my cat was ready , go back to Cayucos and pick my boy up . All this cost me extra time , gas and money . I gave this place a " single star rating " ONLY BECAUSE the rating system didn 't have anything BELOW ZERO ! AGAIN ... DO NOT EVER , I MEAN NEVER TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS PLACE ! I will contact the BBB about this woman and her business soon .

They fit our schnoodle in for a summer haircut even though their schedule was packed, and really did an excellent job at a reasonable price! We really couldn't be happier, the owner and staff were very friendly, and they did a great job with our little guy, who can sometimes be antsy and difficult. Highly recommended. :)

They did an amazing job with my Aussie Shepherd! Most places don’t listen when I tell them I don’t want her to look like a show dog. She goes camping, to the beach, and can get very dirty. Therefore, she needs to keep a clean summer coat. They fit me in very quickly, and their prices were extremely reasonable and more than comparable to other groomers in the area. Piper has found her new dog groomer for life. Extremely pleased!

Wonderful. My Siberian Husky with separation anxiety bad does great here. Staff is wonderful. Pretty cheap to compared to what it cost in San Jose for less. My Dad lives in Cambria I want to take her here forever! LOVE

Special thanks to the staff at Unleashed for grooming our schnauzer. He is a rescue and we had resisted having him groomed with a correct style as he came to us with an overgrown puppy cut. When we picked him up he was so handsome and has been admired by all the guests at the hotel we're staying at. We appreciate your care and style.

If you want your pet to be pampered, groomed and have the kind of day that you would like for yourself, then you must go to UNLEASHED in Cayucos. The staff will unravel any mess you have made with your own attempts at grooming. My dog gets excited to get in there as soon as we drive up to the UNLEASHED location. Your pet needs a vacation too! Great People, Great care and a bow tie to top it off.

They do what you ask for, it takes all day... she way over books herself and your pets suffer. Took mine in at 9 wasn't ready till 230... when i got her home she peed for the longest time and was thirsty.
