I enjoyed shopping in the Target in Cathedral City. The store is pretty well organized and keep clean the isles are wide and the food and produce section are easy to find what you're looking for because the product grouping makes perfect sense.if you ended up being confused looking for regular pizza, it's at the far lefthand end of the freezer section and not in the middle where the special dietary pizzas are (though those are very yummy too).The cashiers are always very friendly and despite the picture of the cart area they always have plenty of carts available with all four wheels functional and smooth 😉 and I plan to keep returning my business here anytime I can.

Since as long as I can remember this target has been my happy place from being a child walking up and down the isles with my mom, to now as an adult (still walking up and down the isles with my mom a lot the time lol).The employees are super kind✨.So many times I’m amazed at the products that they carry, I think that I’m gonna have to go to five different stores to get what I want and target has so much of it, especially now.I’m vegetarian and gluten-free, they have a lot of things that I can eat there which is cool, I also I look for cruelty free/clean beauty products and they carry those as well; their beauty section is really nice because it has such a wide range of products from good old Maybelline to now caring more “exclusive or luxury lines”. I think partnering up with Ulta was a cool move too, really opened a lot of doors.Also their cartwheel app is incredible, I have saved so much money with it and they have a section where you can vote where they donate to their next charity, I love that! So yeah big fan, I freaking love target 🎯.

Food was just... okay. I thought, for the most part, only a little better, maybe, than panda express. I think it should be a lot better.The service, atmosphere and drinks were great.So overall, I was happy with this place.

One of the cleanest and best Targets I've been to. Staff went out of their way to help us find products and sizes and everyone was very helpful and nice. The store is also very clean and organized. Impressed!

I only visited the CVS pharmacy located inside the local Target store. I very rarely buy anything at Target, which I still consider to be nothing more than an "upscale" Walmart.

Sketchiest, dirtiest Target I have ever seen. Normally don't write reviews, but someone in leadership needs to take notice to revamp this location (staffing and cleanliness) because it is a big pull down on the normally-awesome Target reputation.

The clearance seemed to be scattered around the area. Also it didn't have a large selection of clearance and clothed. I found only one pair of Christmas socks. I have to take back two items which is upsetting one from heyday and the other is from pharmacy I didn't read the side effects properly. Nevertheless, the rep in foods was fun and very nice. Also the cashier was nice as well.

I am a regular, pretty much daily shopper at this Target in Cathedral City CA. I'm noticing they've been profiling and I've been getting followed around the store or watched as if going to steal stuff. I'm not doing anything strange that I can tell. And it is a recent change. I hear Target has been getting robbed left and right, but I'm not sure following people around the store and standing behind them at the express checkout is the answer. You are likely driving good customers away with this mess.

I'm finally updating my review for this location in Cathedral City and I'm pretty much done with playing nice here going forward.In the Coachella Valley, a stigma exists with carrying a backpack. Unless you're a protected tourist and said backpack is from Gucci or LV. Locals though know the desert is brutal and go for practical brands. I chose to carry an All In Motion backpack, which I purchased at this Target.What I've now grown tired of is the moment I walk in the store, AP is either following me my whole visit or the chatter on the walkie talkies heard throughout the store is focused on what I'm doing and what product I may or may not have put into a basket etc. It's gotten to the point where I know who their AP people are and a lot of the time they are not so good at hiding it. So since Target wants to put a blanket label of "shoplifter" on me or anyone carrying a backpack, I say let the games begin!See, if these AP employees were trained properly and paid attention, they would stop a good portion of the theft that is happening at stores like Target. So as I left the store this evening, without buying anything, the nervous looks of employees all thinking I must have something in my backpack were once again WRONG!Now fast forward to me arriving at the bus stop outside this location and what do I find all over the place... The same scene I see every time, discarded boxes of stolen Target product. Every time I call for assistance, they automatically hang up on me. I ordered a an online delivery, and the wrong item was delivered. It is a charging cable. And now I cannot charge my device. The best that Target online can do is send me a shipping label so I can return the item.This is not what I need. I need the correct item. I also need the fee I paid for online shopping to be refunded.This is incompetence.

The whole area of the customer service desk looked like an explosion of returns all over the place. The staff, which was absent from the area showed up after over 10 min waiting at customer service and they were very unfriendly and lacked any form of customer service skills. Just another child that hates their job and hates dealing with the simplest of customers. Disappointed and not the standards Target holds for their team members and guest experiences

I'm so sad to write a negative review for Target, but my recent experience warrants it. I purchased a $100.00 Apple gift card at target. I mailed the gift card along with a gift receipt to a family member in the DC area. When he went to his local Apple store to redeem it, they told him it was already redeemed he showed them the gift receipt and they told him to go back to Target when he went to the local Target they told him that because it was an Apple gift card he had to resolve it with apple. He explained he had already been there and showed them the gift receipt. Target said the gift receipt only proved that the card was activated. He called me to let know what had happened. I went to my local Target with the original receipt and they also told me to go to apple. I went to my local Apple store and they told me to call their 800 number. When I called there $800 number they told me I had to submit a photo copy of the front and back of the Apple gift card which I did not take a photo of the front and back when I bought it because I got a receipt with my purchase. I didn't know that the receipt was worthless without a photo copy. After hours of phone calls and going physically back and forth between Apple and Target neither store will honor the gift card. As much as I used to love Target and the fact that they're offering more products from minority owned businesses and they're making great strides in offering products with a zero waste I feel like they sold me something that they won't back up. I spent $100 and got nothing. If the gift cards are so hard to secure they should either not sell them or find a way to secure them. I was very surprised that to buy a $15 set of false eyelashes there's a security tag on it but $100 gift card there's not. Sadly since they took my $100 and refuse to resolve this after many years of shopping I'm going to cut up my red card and delete the app for my phone. I don't know why big stores feel like they can take your money and not back up their product

Staff is always pleasant and friendly is the biggest plus. Stock is fairly decent, but they seem short frequently while the same item is available at the next closest Target. Biggest turn off - the carts are always filthy and they no longer keep the nearby wipes stocked to wipe off the handles. Target really had cleanliness down pat for a brief time.

In my opinion this is a typical Target. Clean, neat and well-stocked. The employees were friendly and polite. Now for the reason I gave 4 stars. I bought 4 items. I was charged more than the Target website price on 2 of them, and not by just a few cents. I was charged $23.99 for a $20.99 item, and $36.99 for something that was $23.99. The in-store price is supposed to match the website price, but apparently that doesn't always happen. The same thing happened to me last week at the same Target. I went to customer service and they cheerfully refunded my money. Personally, I think Target corporation does this on purpose because they figure if you're shopping in-store you're not looking on their website but you probably should always check the online price because over time, it seems you could be cheated out of quite a lot of money if you shop in-store!

I like this location for my weekly shop. It is clean, product selection is good, and the employees are very friendly, Prices are good (I would encourage the use of their Red Card and Target Circle to get even more savings). I do wish the grocery section was more like a Super Target. Check out time is usually ok, but tends to be slow with not enough check out staff at times. All in all though, Target is my preferred place to shop for everything and a quick trip to the grocery to pick up the few items (especially produce) that I cannot get at Target.

This is usually my favorite Target. But lately it has been very hard to just walk in. Today there was at least 6 people selling chocolates or asking for money for some kind of charity. Is very hard to go around them when they stand right in front of the store.

Had an amazing customer service experience today. Came in looking for a newly released cd and could not find it on the floor. A lovely sales team member, Kevin, throughly searched the back of store and went through unopened boxes for me. Though he was unable to find it, I really appreciated his effort, thankoyu!

Today I went in to buy picture frames and the entire staff was friendly behind their masks, and me behind mine. Walked over to the section and it looked like they were on sale from where they were positioned hanging on the shelf. I inspected the area because the price looked too good to be true. I scooped up 3 and walked up front where the cashier told me my total was considerably more than what the pricing allowed. I asked again to confirm and had a floor manager walk over with me to check it out. Unfortunately for them, the items were stocked incorrectly and fortunately for me in the end he honored the marked pricing without much question. I thanked him/them and got to my car to replay the scene in my head. I wanted to do something nice in return because he didn't have to honor the lower price, but did. So I thought what better way than give a glowing review. I shop there often and they've truly won me over more so. Thanks Target in Palm Springs/Cat City!

I've lived in all 4 time zones & shopped in a lot of Target stores, but this one is the worst. The employees seem to be nice, that isn't the issue - the issue is that even the most basic items are never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER in stock. Yes, there were rough waters during the worst of COVID but most places are over that. Not this Target. I stopped shopping here, doing Order Pickup or Shipt from here because they simply never have anything in stock. (And on its site, Target thinks it's being helpful by saying, "Hey, you can pick this item up if you just drive 65 miles to the nearest store!" Uh, no....)

Store was very clean and uncluttered . I was greeted twice after entering. Very nice ladies. Went and got my items, everything was in stock. Went to checkout, very friendly cashier , out to my car , and home 🏡. Couldn't have been easier, like taking a stroll in the park . Thanks

We came in yesterday to buy a new tv for our new home. While in the electronics area there was no associate to help but JAY who was in sporting goods came right over and assisted my fiance and I by answering all our questions continuously going back to check inventory in the back all while handling multiple customers. JAY had a lot of patience with us and even after check out continued to assist us with putting the new tv our care due to no one being up at guest services. JAY really went ABOVE & BEYOND for us yesterday making for an amazing shopping experience! He showed great leadership skills, multi tasking capability and amazing customer service! Target does not have as much inventory as walmart but they have adequate amount of things. They could do away with things such as cards. They devote 2 or 3 aisles for birthday cards get well. The grocery is a weak section. If they are just going to have simple stuff then just do away with it all together. I make the same mistake all the time going to get a certain item and they don't have it. Again they have so much cereal , do they really need that much? Well it's clean and the workers are friendly but they don't know where stuff is.

I love shopping at Target! Great deals and discounts plus easy returns if necessary. The employees at this store are extremely friendly and helpful! I do wish they would change the tiled carpeting at the entrance of the store because it often has a very unpleasant smell of old, stale urine. Pinch your nose on the way in and out of the store!

I've seen customers on Instagram and Facebook post new products that hit the store shelves. This gets me informed on the latest products and when I check my local Targets I'm impressed with the diverse merchandise I find. It's always amazing to find the action figures my kids love.

I cant find the things I need at time's. Men clothes and shoes departments are horrible! Some of the younger employees are not friendly and dismiss you! I love Target but the Palm Springs store needs to be stocked and employees need a refresher course on customer service!
