Lost a pair of glasses on my road trip and needed a replacement immediately. I was referred to Park View Optical by LensCrafters, who no longer do glasses in an hour.Brought my prescription in on Tuesday morning at 9am. Selected a frame and had my new progressive lens glasses the following day. Couldn't be happier.

Very UNHAPPY with Mine and my Husbands glasses. The quality of Lens and the progressive and transition wasn’t done correctly. At times I will get half a transition shade across my lens even after I took them in to get fixed . According to the owner all was good and no problem existed ,totally not true. I keep trying to see clear thru them and I still haven’t . Come to find out putting them directly into a light that they look like they are splintering,the lens looks like it’s splintering even after using ONLY the towels they highly recommended they look as if they were old glasses. I can see better without them and more clear than with them on . ‼️ WARNING DONT COME HERE . I’ve only had my glasses for about 5months .There stars and reviews say it all…

I've taken my glasses here before and always had excellent repair work. I needed the temple tips replaced on an expensive pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. Brought them in and done in five minutes!! An inexpensive repair and they are like new. I highly recommend them and wanted to be sure to give them a shout out for the repair work they do. They have a great selection of Eyewear too!

Was so pleased with my first time visit! I was so stressed out, I called all over the valley and went to lens crafters but they couldn’t help me and gave me a card to park view optical. There I walked in, waited just a while and got my glasses fixed on the spot and for a great price! No one else could help because of where it was broken and I got it fixed the same day under an hour.

I had a pair of progressive lens glasses that the frame had given up the ghost. My optometrist said sorry we can fix or find new frames to fit the lenses. Please buy new for $400. I found these very nice people to repair my glasses. In short, they looked at my glasses and said they can help me. In just a few minutes I had repaired glasses for $25!!! AWESOME!!I'm a customer for life. Go to these great people. Very nice and personal experience.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would.Felix; the proprietor of this business is a CON ARTIST who takes advantage of blind people.I took in frames my frames ( worth around $1K; Vintage Buffalo Horn Frames) to have the metal component on the Left side which attaches the front frame to the Temple piece. He said he would send this order off to his "lab in San Diego" and it would take a little over a week.I returned Wednesday to pick up my glasses. Paid Felix $35 for the repair and left. Only to realize once in the sun back in Joshua Tree that my Left lens was absolutely clear. I have transition lens. So, naturally this is very disturbing as this meant that someone broke my lens and replaced it without asking me!!!This is beyond unprofessional. That in itself... Especially with this highly delicate frames.Upon closer inspection; I realize that my frame was damaged where the repair was made; there is visible glue that was used to fix the fracture to the bone frames and it looks like they burned the original component out to replace it.When I called to make my complaint. Felix said he was insulted by my accusations and then said, maybe someone else did this to my lens...At this point I am livid. Because it has literally been less than 2 hours since I picked up my glasses and he is accusing me of lying and not taking responsibility for his cunning and deceit which in my opinion are the only forms of craftsmanship or professionalism that this man possesses. He then HANGS the phone up on me.So, I call back. He says I can't talk to you on the phone. You can come into the shop to talk about this.I live an hour away and have a ten month old baby so this is not exactly easy for me. Upon entering the shop:Felix says, "So, I did some research. I called my lab and they say they did not touch your lens so maybe you took them someplace else and they make the lens bad for you."I ask what the name of the lab is and he will not give a name or number. I become upset and call him a cunning crook. He becomes upset with me saying this and begins to shake his index finger in my face. I tell his to get his hand out of my face. He threatens to call the Police.So, I call 911 instead because unfortunately I was raised by a Narcissistic Psychopath Abuser who is incapable of taking responsibility for their actions and will often threaten calling the cops to try and scare away someone who is demanding truth from them.So, I call the cops and they tell me this is a Civil issue rather than a criminal issue.I think it is absolutely a crime that Felix is taking advantage of blind women in particular and by the looks of things.At some point, he also says that he took the lens out before sending them to the lab... Are you kidding ?! W/O informing me, the owner of said frames?!So sad. SO GROSS SO DISTURBING and such a MISOGYNISTPLEASE BEWARE: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN.FELIX SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO OPERATE AS HE CONTINUALLY VIOLATES WOMEN VIA MONEY AND THEIR PERSONAL PROPERTY AND DOES SO WITHOUT AN OUNCE OF RESPONSIBILITY.HE DID NOT REFUND ME.INSTEAD; HE WALKED OUT OF HIS STORE AFTER I LEFT UPSET (SHAKING AND IN TEARS) AND SAID TO ME,"YOU SHOULD TAKE YOUR MEDS, YOU NEED THEM."I DO NOT ENDORSE THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY'S DEGRADATION OF HUMANITY. I have been coming here for quite some time now. I wanna say like three years or so. Anyways I always come here to get my glasses adjusted and they are always so quick and happy to help. Well I went in yesterday to see if they would be able to repair some glasses but unfortunately they were not :/ but Jessica was there and she let me know they actually could remove the lenses from the old broken frame to a new frame. She helped me choose a good pair of glasses that fit my face well and Ray was able to fix them in an hour. Awesome people. My entire family who wears glasses always comes here.

BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND ANY WARRANTY!! Got my glasses and 18 months later I developed cracking on frameless lenses where attatched to earpiece and by nose pieces I went found that most labs give warranty of one to two years so i called and asked what warranty was. The owner said two or three months. I then asked him who the lab or manufacturer was of my 5 hundred dollar glasses and he was.very hesitant and said he did not have to tell me his supplier but t finally told me the lab was through Younger optical. I looked them up and left message as I wished to find out about any warranty they offered and they never returned my call. Owner was very rude and defensive. BEWARE!

Got my glasses in March and a week later I left for Europe. During my stayin Europe I had my frame tightened a few times. I have 8 prisms in one of the lenses and when the frame gets looser I get nauseated because the prisms don’t line the right way. All the times(3in Europe and once when back in the States in Seattle) the optician would look at it, adjust it, put it on my face and checked to see that the adjustment was ok. Now remember, I did not buy my glasses there! Charge: none.Today I went to Park View , the place that made $275 off me and wanted to have my frame tightened. They wanted to charge me 3 dollar. Granted it is not a big amount but still……considering that the girl just took my glasses to the back and brought them back without anybody checking to see what might be the trouble it seems ridiculous.Service seems to be something they have never heard about!

took my glasses in to have the scratch coating removed and have the nose pads replaced. the glasses did not feel right on the trip home. took them off and discovered that one of the new replacement nose pads was missing. then noticed that the plastic wire that holds one of the lenses in was sticking out. then closed the arms and discovered that one of the springs was broken. moved the arm and it came out of its attachment to the frame. it was broken. i would have given no stars but had to give one in order to post this. DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR FOR REPAIRS.

I needed an adjustment made to my frames. I did not buy the frames here. But when I went in and asked if they could make the adjustment, the gentleman was very helpful and courteous and said sure thing, and took my eyeglasses into the back, came back out about 2 minutes later and the adjustment had been made perfectly. And he only charged me $2! I can definitely recommend this place. The only downside is limited parking.

BEST PLACE EVER!!! I literally went in and couldn’t decide which glasses I wanted and felt like I tried on the entire store. Jessica was so helpful to the point she tried on the glasses for me so I can see how they looked, all with a smile! They made me feel so comfortable and like family! The best part is you can receive your new glasses same day. I went home with amazing glasses thanks to everyone, I’m so beyond happy with everything. Thank you!!!

Had this shop replace my progressive lenses with their counter brand. I was skeptical because the price was so attractive compared to what I pay for Nikon and Essilor lenses in Canada. After wearing them a few days I brought my other frames in to get updated with my new progressive prescription. These lenses are great and I saved hundreds of dollars.The shop also recommend I get my prescription eye exam at Costco as that was the best deal they knew about, again they saved me some money. These guys run a small unassuming shop but they know what they are doing and they have quality products. I'll be back.

I ordered my glasses the end of March, it is now the first week of May. I have called about once a week and I keep being told "we will call you back later today" and I NEVER hear from them. Not once have they called to explain this delay. Which by the way when I asked how long it would be the man servicing me said two weeks. I then said "I thought it would take a month"..HE then said "No if it took a month someone should be fired". I pre-paid for my glasses $425.00. I know I have bad eyes but at least Costco kept in touch when there was any delay. I'm going to give it one more week, since I know I have special eyes and I really need my glasses but if I don't have them by then I will have to take my business elsewhere.If anything changes I have NO problem taking this review down. Untill then....Update: I got my money back a week later. The quality of the glasses was terrible. But they were nice after they knew I was mad.

I called 10 minutes before coming in the store to ask about a specific nose piece and if they could do the repair. The woman on the phone told me $10 for just a simple fix, and to come tomorrow for pick up after I dropped them off. I was happy at first, but the next day I was 10 minutes away from the store and they were 5 mins from closing. I called to ask if they would be willing to wait so I can pick them up, they said yes they will wait! When I got to the store NO ONE WAS THERE. I waited and knocked for about 10 mins and I left. I came the next day (today) and was charged $15 instead?? Customer service was really poor and overall I don’t think I’ll be coming back :(

This place is awesome! I am very grateful for the service and work done. I recently moved from Colorado, sat on my glasses and broke the frame at the temples. No other place even up to banning would help except a referral from lens crafters to Park View optical. The gentleman helped me at closing time, fixed my frames by replacing the temples and did so for a great price.

Had my glasses stepped on and the tiny screw holding one of the legs broke off. Came in expecting to wait at least a business day for the repair but they had it fixed in less than 10 minutes and they also readjusted the fit for me. Very friendly and professional also!

Unsympathetic and unhelpful owner, wanted to sell me cheap china replacement temples for my glasses for 25 dollar. When i asked for alternatives as the ones i saw 5weeks ago he didn't want to offer me some, since i was asking for a a straight pair limiting myself in choice. Even then when i repeatedly said i would be more open to other designs he referred back to my initial statement, i was limiting myself. When i asked him for a final alternative idea then he said i can have basically any other temples from his glasses on the shelf but i would need to pay him half price of the whole new glasses.... Sounded like a rip off to me,the glasses he pointed out were all about 180 dollar and up!

I highly recommend this store. Took my broken frame in and it was fixed in 10 minutes and they also fixed another area of my frames. Prices are excellent. Will definitely go back again.

Good guys ... and the old man went to Belmont High ... 10 years after me! Costco didn't have my frame size and recommend this place for having much lower prices than frame & lense ... and another customer walked in - being recommended from Walmart. Nuff said! Thanks!
