I happened to order 2 plates of lamb and beef which included some lettuce with tomatoes a small amount of hummus rice and a skimpy portion of meat. I also ordered a side of fries. The customer service was very friendly and there was no issue with that. However the food was not good and definitely not worth the price I paid. I paid $45.99 not including the tip that I left in the small tip box. When I arrived home and saw the meals and I was definitely disappointed with the meagre portions of food that was given.The meat was extremely spicy it was fire hot and very difficult to eat. My Mother didn’t like the food at all because it was so spicy. What makes me angry is that I specifically mentioned that the food cannot be spicy. I was ignored and they went ahead and made the food spicy like Hell hot. Well I definitely won’t be returning here again because it’s not worth the price. Also exiting from this business was a bit difficult because of the extreme amount of traffic. Overall I am just not impressed and would not recommend this business.

We got delivery for a pretty big group. They did an overall good job with our order and it was all packed well. The portions are generous and they included napkins, condiments, etc.One person made a request for chopsticks. Kinda weird maybe but they ended going to the sushi restaurant down the street and asking for some for us. They wrote us a note to explain that to us too.They went above and beyond and the food was great! Would definitely try more of their food next time I'm in the area.

Me and my wife were looking for some authentic Mediterranean food near us, we stumbled upon this hidden gem when looking online. If I could give 10 stars I would, first, the customer service was absolutely amazing! The food is prepared in front of you and the chefs are very friendly! My wife ordered the chicken gyro combo and I ordered the Lamb and Beef Shwarma plate. On the side we got 5 falafels and 2 baklavas, when the food was about done the owner came up to us and gave us some free house made sanbousa that was amazing! We will be coming back for more!! Thank you Shwarma King!

Fresh, friendly, and delicious! We were passing through the area and wanted to grab a bite. There were no other customers when we came in so we were able to order immediately. The service was friendly and we got a burger combo and chicken shawarma plate. It took about 5-10min items since it was being made fresh. Tasting the food you can tell too. I really appreciated how clean this place was for a gas station. The only feedback we had was the fries were a bit over seasoned. I’d definitely stop by next time I’m in the area.

This kitchen is located inside the Chevron gas station. It is a great takeout place for people who want a quick wholesome meal without the taste of animal blood in their food, as this place use halal meat.My first experience started with a warm welcome by the cook when I stopped by with my wife and a teenage son. The menu was self-explanatory. The cook, named Luqmaan, helped us pick a different dish/ combination by providing his expert opinion and recommendations. When he finished making us three meals, each with a custom-made combination, he gave 3 pieces of fresh Baklawa on the house for being first-time customers. Charges were very reasonable. After picking up the food, we decided to eat it at a local beach. The food was fresh, authentic, unique, and tasted like homemade food. It was a perfect meal for us. The only things I missed in this kitchen were some tables and chairs. We definitely will be going back very soon.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians: Ask the cook not to add the meat and pick from plenty of available veggies.Dietary restrictions: You can always create your own custom menu. Just ask the cook.

This place is amazing! I've been searching for a shawarma for a very long time and I have to say, this satisfied my gyro craving. I came back to buy a baklava and told them that their food was really great and he offered me a free baklava in return!! I will definitely come back

Absolute fire. Delicious spot tucked inside the Chevron gas station. I had the lamb and beef shawarma with a sambosa. Service was awesome, the people were so friendly! One of the best Hidden Gems in Monterey County.! If you call in you can pick it up and skip the wait.Their lamb and beef shwarmas are so good, and if you like the heat ask for spicy.I haven't got anything else because it's so delicious anytime I pass by I'm craving one. I did get to a friend's Greek fries and they were so good and saucy.PSA 📢: I don't see the banner outside on the cheveron anymore, just go inside the food mart cheveron.

Absolute hidden gem! Greek fries are sooo good and the falafel balls are spiced nicely! The guys there are super nice and gave us baklava for the long wait. This place is on my way home so I found my new stop during my commuteVegetarian options: Falafel is really good! It's made to order and the mixture is made in-house with fresh spices.

Chicken Shawarma wrap was absolutely delicious! The person running the place and making the food was also exceptionally cool and nice. Joked around with us, made sure we were happy with the spiciness level after we ordered another wrap (the first was just so good we wanted another), and then hooked us up with free baklava (which was also tasty). Go here, the food and people are great!

First of all I'm getting it five stars for the atmosphere because it's a very clean market! The guys here were super friendly and helpful and it was my first time so they walked me through how to place my order at the back or at the register and recommended some plates and gave me some hours and what else they served with was helpful. Because I'm a pig, I only wish there was a little bit more meat in my shawarma dish, but I'll definitely be returning. They even threw in a couple of baklava dessert which were amazing.

Absolutely delicious. I drive by daily and finally googled them and with a 4.9 review I had to try it. So me and the misses stopped by to try it. We got the gyro fries.. And wow! Delicious af! The guys in there are super cool as well. They hooked me up with some baklava and it's delicious! Imma stop by tomorrow and buy lunch for myself and a couple coworkers.

I just had the best chicken shawarma of my life. This is a hidden gem hidden inside a chevron gas station. The guys there were very polite didn’t take to long to prepare my plate, I’m gonna go back for seconds on same day, that’s how good it wasEdit: you should change your hours on google. I wanted to come back for seconds and your google hours showed you were open until 10pm. I arrived at 8:30 and you were closed. I had a lot of time I could of came earlier.
