this place has reasonable prices these days, depending on what you purchase. Although i'm surprised to see so many reviews bringing up courtesy and friendliness of the cashiers. There is only one person in this place who is nice and friendly to me, easy to talk to. However every other cashier doesn't match that level of kindness. Today i walked in there and a cashier, instead of talking to me, let alone acknowledging me, had her attention on a fellow employee, and then saying thankyou. So again, i'm surprised to see people saying they're kind/friendly. This's why i prefer to shop at Dollar General. Part of the shopping experience is the small attention

Since under new ownership the place is still a little disorganized but to be fair they are a work in progress. Prices have come down somewhat, however many items are still not priced. Great meat counter. Will adjust my star rating once the remodel is complete.

Very few choices and a good amount of produce has mold on it. Went to valley food on 11-09-2019 since it was the closest grocery store. Bought some fried onions when I opened them they looked wrong so I checked the expiration date it was 09-14-2019

valley foods offer a nice selection of products for a market of its size. There are very friendly checkers and the manager is friendly as well. Good service at the meat counter too.

So expensive this store has items so high in price it's sad the people that live in caruthers have no choice but to shop here with outrageous prices. They know they can get away with it because this is a farm labor town. So sad to take their money and then more because a lot of them don't drive.

Love the especils daily and fresh food. I think that is good to have one of this store in town save as time and gas because we don't have to travel to a big city . You can find alots of things in just one store.

It is a great place to shop has veggies and fruits like a natural grocery store. Cashiers are nice and helpful. They have some cooked chickens.

High,unposted prices-do your big shopping elsewhere. That being said,the meat department is top notch,fresh and the butchers will cut to order-excellent meat at a fair price.

Over priced, frozen veg, I live here and still take a trip to Walmart or food 4 less for stuff. Only go there to get small thing, butter, milk, etc.
