Can’t recommend them enough!Had a flat tire and as I always know that Pep Boys has been the place to help me in several occasions with tire issues I got of fwy and went to the closest location here in Carson.Charlie Huerta, the manager, and his team exceeded my expectations along his mechanic Angel, who was my angel of the day. They help me faster than what I thought as they were very busy to get back on the road and go about my day. They’re extremely honest, helpful, and with a grate disposition for Service. Definitely coming back to this location for any other need that I have with my car.I wish all mechanic shops were like this one.Thank you again, Charlie!

I am so appreciative of the staff at this pep boys location. All 4 of my tires had nails and was on their last leg, I was in need of something quick! I called them about 1.5 hours to closing and they told me not to worry and come on in. A huge shoutout to Charlie for helping me with everything along the way, he found me good rates for my tires within my budget and the service was fast and efficient! He was also very friendly to me and my kids and made sure we felt comfortable while my car was being serviced.

Online the store hours say this location closes at 7 with appointments for maintenance up until 6 pm. I needed a simple oil change and tire rotation. My first date of appointment was cancelled because there were no technicians. The second night I showed up at around 5:45 and was told that my car could not be serviced ever at 6 pm, regardless of what it allows online. So basically, if you have a regular 9-5, good luck trying to get your car serviced here even though they accept appointments until 6 and close at 7.

It's a waste to even give it one star. This company should receive a (-). If you can't do the job, you shouldn't take the appointment.I made an appointment at 2pm and visited for a brake pad replacement and oil change. They didn't do any work, and it wasn't until 6 PM that they called me and said they had a problem and couldn't do the work and would transfer it to another location. (The oil change should have already been completed by that time.) It was too late that day, so they couldn't do the transfer and said they would do it the next morning. However, there was no call the next morning, so I contacted them and they said they couldn't transfer because they didn't have a towing vehicle.I didn't hear from them so I called again and they said they would be available at 11am. However, it was also a lie, and the transfer time was changed to 12:30 pm.He then presented me with an option: pick up the car, wait until 12:30 pm, or if the transfer was made at 12:30, my vehicle would have spent another day somewhere else.As a result, I spend most of my day here. I couldn't do my job because I didn't have a car. It's a terrible experience.And when I went to pick up the car, they were shameless, as if it was obvious.

Today my experience with Pep Boys was flawless. I dropped off a little later than my scheduled 830am appt and was warmly greeted by a gentleman who’s name escapes me right now. I asked questions and was provided information that was very helpful. I received a text that my car was ready for pick up by 2pm. I was in and out within minutes of payment of my vehicle. Thanks to the whole pep boys family for todays excellent customer service. A Returned customer for sure.

They don’t know how to Jack up a car and they bent the sides. All employees should be knowledgeable, but from what it seems they don’t even know how to safely Jack up a Car. If you don’t have the skill, then work at a McDonald’s or warehouse. Leave it to the pros.

After agreeing to services and prices I wasn't given a receipt showing the details of what was agreed. I didn't think about it much at the time but when I returned to pick up my car, they had padded the prices and the total cost was significantly higher than agreed. I had no proof of what was agreed so I had no choice but to pay to get my car back. ALWAYS get the written agreement up front. They can't be trusted.

Jorge and Jonathan were very professional and quick. Jonathan took my order in and Jorge changed my tire. The waiting room was clean and stocked with coffee. I will definitely be return.

Charlie at Pep Boys was SO HELPFUL! I went in one evening concerned about leaking oil. Charlie looked at my car and showed and explained everything he was seeing (the last ppl that had changed my oil left a mess in there, missing transmission fluid cap, a phone left sitting on the engine, all kinds of weird stuff.) and helped me find a really cost effective solution. I will be going there for all of my oil changes from now on!

My experience here at pepboys has been the best. The old Carson crew is finally gone ! The new crew at Carson is definitely an improvement in the right direction. Alexis the new manager is definitely the right fit for this location. Awesome customer service! The mechanic Demo did an extremely good job on my vehicle ! The other counter person Jorge also seems very knowledgeable and answered all my questions while Alexis was assisting other customers, will definitely be coming back !

I really appreciate this location. They are very honest and helpful. One of my tires kept going flat so I figured I needed a new tire. They found that the valve was just stuck open and fixed that. Didn’t charge me anything. Then another time I was advised by another Pep Boys location to get my transmission fluid changed but this location advised against it due to the age of my vehicle and mileage. The transmission is jerking a bit and they warned that changing the fluid could cause more damage, which I have read before. In both instances they could have made easy money but they were honest. I’d definitely recommend using this Pep Boys location.

The guys on the desk and the one who changed my battery were exceptional! They went above and beyond to help me out, they even gave me a good discount on the replacement battery. I did not wait for a long time too! I even got tips on how to conserve the battery. Awesome service, highly recommend!

Came out of the IKEA across the street and noticed my tire was flat. I drove across the street to the pep boys where I was helped by the Manager Jay. I had all new tires installed. They didn't clean the side walls they didn't dress the side walls. Tires look like they were two years old. Another customer saying same thing. Also they are not using a torque device on the lug nuts to set the proper torque. Cutting corners could cost someone their life

Not worth your time. Decided to watch over the mechanic and watched him attempt to put the wrong oil in twice. Turned out they didn’t even have the high mileage full synthetic oil they promised. Then proceeded to try to give me a completely wrong oil for my car as a replacement. Wouldn’t accept that so had to wait till they went to go pick up the oil that I was promised from a nearby supplier. Then they still came back with a different brand than promised. Service never was unprofessional, however seeing this happen in front of me was extremely disappointing, as well as a waste of time for a simple job. At the end didn’t give me a report on all fluids, had to ask and also had to ask to top off the windshield washing fluid. Seriously a joke of a place. I’ll give a shoutout to Steve and Bailey, these guys were helpful at the very end of my visit. Only reason I went here was the WalMart (which might I add is half the price of here, 50 bucks vs 100) down the street didn’t have any appointments available, but just go there. Skip PepBoys.

Easy to make an appointment, check in ok. Was told my tire repair would be 30-45 minutes. I had to keep checking back ended up over an hour. Justin checked me out and seemed totally uninterested in doing his job or extending any type of customer service. Would not go back there. EVER.
