Lemos is a pretty good pet store, they have quite a large selection to chose from and the one in carpinteria is actually quite spacious. They have treats for your dog when they walk in and a water dish for them as well. The prices are a bit high but that just comes with carpinteria I've found.

We take our dog to Lemos for a bath. They have a spacious bathing area. It's $17 and you wash them yourself. It includes 1 towel and choices of dog shampoo. They have a large selection of pet items and friendly staff!

My dogs literally pull me into this store whenever we are within a couple of blocks! Great selection friendly staff, and an awesome dog wash set-up for after the beach visits!

First time I went to Lemos to the self serve to wash our Siberian Husky it was excellent! The team there were so pleasant and helpful and very nice. I will for sure to go back and thank you so much again Trish for your excellent team you have specially the one gal that helped me out she was very nice and helpful I didn't get her name. So thank you very much!

Always a pleasure shopping at Lemos. They carry a wide selection of healthy cat and dog food, and the brands from smaller companies like Taste of the Wild that I like.Also King brand, excellent quality, low carbohydrate horse feed, which is a local California Company.

READ IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET.I'm posting this negative review cause 1st time I took the cashier @ their word then my husband went in & the sales person lied to make a sale. He convinced my husband cat flea pills were chewable (like treats) & cats like them. I stopped my husband before giving to our cat (14yrs) I realized they weren't chewable. Because my husband snapped 1 packet off we weren't able to return them ($50.) CUSTOMERS before you leave store double check your receipt make sure when you buy 20cans (5 cans ea. 4Flavors) of cat food and receipt says you bought 30cans (overchrg $21.69) or if someone tells you something ask them where its says "CHEWABLE" or whatever they say. This won't happen again in this store cause I will never go to Lemos in Carpinteria. They take advantage of customers if you aren't paying attention.

Lemos is our place to come to for purchasing birdseed, at an affordable price, which allows us to feed every single bird in Carpinteria! This morning we had a huge hawk sitting on top of our feeder. I'm not so sure how I felt about that! 😲

Great place to get all ur pets set up with their favourite healthy food as well as a wide variety of equipment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Thumbs up!

I have never been in a shop that was so busy body. Lurking around as I shopped as if I was a shoplifter.I was actually looking for a specific Raw dried dog and cat food- ( which they did NOT carry)One employee asked where I was parked.? ????Upon going to my car , I noticed a slew of Lemos specifically marked spaces in a huge public parking lot.- As if parking could remotely be a problem as well as a camera pointed at them. With signs threatening to tow.Lol! One car with three empty spaces around it had red ticket on it. Shopmade.Why would someone ask me where I was parked when I was an actual patron????Seems to me they have a " cop" mentality thing going on.I found it highly offensive.Seriously, if you want repeat customers don't treat them like they are criminals.There is more than adequate parking with the public lot and street so not sure why they are so weird about it.I can safely say I will not be going back and gladly will share my story with all my friends.
