Jay the owner is a fantastic person. His smile is wonderful, and he has a very positive attitude. Thank you, Jay, for the great service and the great atmosphere. This is a great little coffee shop. I will definitely be back here again, for sure. And it is all because of the breakfast burrito that excited my tastebuds. This wonderful gem has bacon jam, potatoes, eggs, and cheese in it. And I must say, this is the best breakfast burrito I ever had. And I had many breakfast burritos in my lifetime. And this is excellent. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. My friend had the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. I had a bite of that too, and it was very good. And I am sure all of the other items are equally as good. It's all good. When we walked in, I immediately felt a warm and cozy vibe. This is a great place in Tahoe, and it made my trip all the worthwhile. Also, I had the vanilla iced latte. Very good as well. It was nice and strong, and it woke me up. Thank you, Jay, for everything. We will definitely be back, and I will have that yummy breakfast burrito again.

This place was the perfect little coffee shop for our birthday/Fourth of July weekend.Like any coffee lover, I always try to find a coffee shop where I am staying. I was worried I would not find a spot, until Google pointed me to this coffee shop.There were a lot of photos, but not clear photos of what the place looked like, so I was a little worried. Fortunately, this place was amazing!This little coffee shop is inside the lake supplies store cabin. There are souvenirs, supplies for your outdoor weekend adventure, and this coffee shop at the back in the righthand corner. Enter from the back and the coffee shop is right at the entrance.The staff was super nice. It’s not a gourmet coffee shop, but the coffee was just what we needed. They had almond milk and regular milk. They could make iced drinks, hot drinks, and breakfast/cafe food. (I posted the menu as a photo in this review.)The coffee shop also has this cute backyard patio that overlooks the lake. If you get there early, it’s so cute and peaceful in the morning. The tables are outdoor furniture and there is no indoor seating, but the free wifi reaches out onto the patio and is a great spot to work or browse the Internet.One last tip — during the summer they open at 7:30 AM, but that doesn’t always show on Google maps.

Such good quiet location with great coffee. The kayaking was not open as it was windy but you can rent kayaks or just take a coffee and chill outside. Super friendly staff who suggested things to do around and some trails.

Unfortunately, I found that kayaking makes me sick, no really, physically sick; however, that has nothing to do with the excellent service and knowledge shown at Waterman's. They really care about you, your level of fun and safety before you go out into the water. They covered everything with us and it did not bother them that we had stupid little inexperienced questions. Corey was the best!! When I came in from being sick he set my wife up with a single kayak to use out the rest of our allotted time.

Very clean, rocky shore (I wore water shoes to wade in and it was fine), dog friendly. I wish it had been either sand or smaller pebbles, but I knew before I got there that it was going to be rocky so I wasnt disappointed. I went on a Thursday afternoon and it was super empty, which was awesome.

We booked a two person kayak online and filled out our waivers online as well. When we showed up, the kayak was ready to go and we were on the water in minutes. Staff is super friendly and relaxed. Parking was easy, right in front of the shop. Will go again, it appears they also offered lessons on the equipment they rented.

Overpriced. We stopped here specifically for an acai bowl on our way to South Tahoe..What we got was more like a sample size- for $10. The young staff seemed to not really know what was going on in general (especially the red head). Would probably be better if there was an adult in the vicinity instead of a few teenagers scrambling around not really knowing what is goi on. Positive note: the few bites of acai we did have were quite good, hence the three ⭐⭐⭐..but I would say at least 4 of their servings equate to what a standard acai bowl is...and it took so long for then to make that (they also forgot about our English muffins) we didn't have time to stop elsewhere : /

Awesome organic cafe, ON the only dog friendly beach in NLT. Also the best spot to rent paddle boards/kayaks/surfskis or outrigger canoes. Paddle accessories and clothes 😎🤙

This was a great place! Coffee was tasty and hot, and there were lots of food options. I had the veggie burrito and used the second half for another meal. Plus, the view was amazing, sitting in the early morning sun on the lake's edge. Throw in a super friendly server and five stars indeed!

This place is very unique and has a really laid back vibe to it. The coffee was good and their breakfast burritos were enormous. The staff were quick and attentive. The main manager could have been more pleasant. You could tell she was annoyed by some of the group's questions (who weren't coffee drinkers normally) as clearly we weren't up to her standards of understanding coffee types. It's definitely not Starbucks if that's the type of flavored coffee you desire and the manager may let you know that. Masks aren't required either but that didn't bother us at all.

I'm very disappointed we ordered vegetarian burrito but it came with meat and they ladies on the kitchen are very rude to us. Not happy with them at all.

Always wonderful. We have called it Dog Beach for decades, for a reason. This is a draw for me, but fair notice to first timers. Kayaks/SUPs to rent without a lot of boat or swim traffic around. Lovely patio seating for the cafe with great menu and friendly staff. Clean public restrooms are a BONUS.Parking: Parking is limited and it is difficult to make a left out of the driveway during the summer so better to park along Northlake Blvd. Or across the street if you are heading West afterwards. Food is awesome, just go early to get the best selection. Espresso bevs are wonderful, staff is uberfriendly and the setting is unbeatable

We came here for food/drinks only and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food and drinks were. And also by the fantastic, tranquil outdoor seating with a killer view across the lake. It was not crowded at all and it seemed like we had stumbled upon some well-kept secret, but I suspect that's because it was March and not yet peak season when I suspect it gets much more crowded due to their kayak rentals. But all I can say with certainty is, outside of summer, this is a sublime place to stop for a quick meal or drink.

Love this place. Smaller beach area with lots of flat skipping stones, not a lot of sand. Rentals of SUP's, kayaks, wave skis. Coffee shop with light food available. Bathrooms. Handicap accessible. Nice staff and pleasant atmosphere. Free WiFi.

over priced, raw gf sourdough bread after waiting 30 minutes to get it, unapologetic staff and owner. Great location and convenient to the beach. Allows dogs hence the 2 stars. Otherwise it would be a '0'.

Fantastic beach spot in both the winter and summer. Not a lot of parking though and does get crowded so check it out on a week day if you can.

I come to Tahoe each Fall for a month or so. We walk down from Carnelian Woods for exercise and views of the lake. I used to order the Breakfast Burrito (which is excellent) but now am satisfied with a superb fresh-baked Scone and delicious coffee. Waterman's is the perfect place to wake up, enjoy watching the dogs play, and have a light breakfast on the patio.

5 stars for the food // 1 star for the serviceThe breakfast burrito was great with the bacon jam. Very flavorful and the perfect portion for a good breakfast. Only downside was that they ran out of salsa which is just poor planning...The staff was overwhelmed despite a normal level of traffic. It took 15 min just to get our Americano which was just so so. We had to remind them that we had ordered a coffee. They had face coverings, but kept taking them off while talking to guests, so they weren't of much use...

Quaint little spot to grab a cup of coffee and light lunch or snack (igot a healthy muffin, it was good, although my kids didn't think so, lol). People-watched as kayakers came in and out. Dog-friendly area outside. 😊Vegetarian options: Healthy options for muffins!

We visited Waterman's to rent kayaks and SUPs. We had coffee and muffins. The muffins were among the best I've ever had. So yummy we went for more :-).Friendly service and great quality.
