very unaccommodating unlike numerous other rental agencies that are happy to move bookings to other weekends given the impending stormthe fact they have a 3 star rating seems about right

Don’t apply for a rental through this company if you want a response in a timely manner. I applied for a rental through this “management” company and they spent over two weeks “processing” the application when they had all of the information. I didn’t have anywhere else to live so I ended up taking another lease. Then they would not return the $500 holding fee for the property. Paul Currier and Stephanie Tyler emailed me claiming that returning my money they essentially stole from me “doesn’t align with fair housing practices”. Not sure how passively robbing someone for $500 aligns with fair housing, but according to them, theft does. As if I weren’t under enough financial stress moving to Lake Tahoe, pretty awesome that these sympathetic people kept my money and didn’t do a thing to help accommodate. Awfully managed, unprofessional and criminal business practices are the only things that come to mind.*despite the owner of this “company”s response, they did not take the listing down nor did they “lose money on advertising” or “try to contact me for two days”. Blatant lie. I was literally driving the entire time with Apple CarPlay, wouldn’t have missed or ignored a call. I was literally driving to Tahoe with nowhere to live

This company screwed me out of a $1500 rental.When forest fires started 2 days before my trip they refused to refund my booking because I hadnt canceled at least 7 days in advance.We had family in town and had rented a place for my baby's 1st birthday.They said we should have stayed at the property instead of canceling when the air quality was over 500.Imagine trying to have a baby breath that smoke and the company tells you its your fault for not canceling before the fire even started.

I recently rented the Bristol's Edge house through Tahoe North Rentals and had a great experience. The booking process was simple and the company did a great job communicating with us so we had a totally stress free vacation. The house was spacious, clean, and we really, really enjoyed the hot tub. I hope to get to stay there again soon!

We had an extremely bad experience with a property managed by this company. If you want a good vacation in Tahoe, avoid properties from this company.The property manager is not professional at all. They didn’t even wash the bed sheets before our staying so we did it by ourselves (remember that we rented a luxury home that cost us 2000$ per night). One of the bedroom has dog hair all over the place and the property manager didn’t even care.Also the property is rented out without fully ready. 2/5 of the bedrooms didn't even have window cover and it is facing the street and it feels like sleeping on the street, so we bought some covers from safeway to cover the window by ourselves.

Cautionary tale here: Be careful when renting in Kings Beach. Pay attention to all reviews posted on the web site you are using. If you use Tahoe North Rentals, find out specifically their refund policy in advance. We waited close to a month for a 50% refund of a booking that we never used, six months in advance. It cost us 700.00+ to learn this lesson. we have never had such a negative experience in 30+ years of being good renters.

Tahoe North Rentals were very friendly and made the process super easy. The house we stayed at was clean and in a perfect location. My family and I had a great time and made wonderful memories!! Will definitely be going through Tahoe North Rentals again 👍🏻

Great people at this company. Was a little worried to book so close to the holidays, but the lovely staff at Tahoe North accommodated my family and I with open arms. Property was amazing with beautiful lake views and all amenities one would need when on vacation. I would highly recommend this rental company! We have already planned our next visit to Lake Tahoe with the TNR team!!

This company is a scam. Please check this before booking it on Airbnb.Their staff will promise one thing over emails outside of Airbnb and then they will reply on Airbnb messages something completely different.DO NOT TRUST THEM

Made arrangements to stay at their Kings Beach location - uncleanliness and unsafe conditions. Point of Contact was Stephanie - has no business engaging in client relations and customer service. Host entered premises without a mask on (during a pandemic), was unprofessional, rude, argumentative, manipulative, and guilt tripped me for bringing up the unsafe conditions. Eventually i discovered black mold in a windowsill - i heard every excuse under the moon to justify why the air quality was bad in the house but zero responsibility for the issue at hand. Got a well deserved full refund after contacting Airbnb and my credit card company - this listing has no business being anywhere near the price offered (475$ per night). Highway robbery - the shining definition of a predatory rental property company.———She prominently displays her abusive demeanor with the response below - flipping blame and victimizing herself. I provided my CA DL that shows my full name - Airbnb uses my first name. But google allows me to use my middle. She did not “drive through the snow” it was a snowless tahoe night - fact check me 1/22/21 no snow in kings beach - it snowed lightly the next morning and she said she lived “right around the corner” so it wasnt an issue. If i could post screen shots and pictures i would. Check various other review platforms - pictures are there. I would show the black mold in the moist, filthy windowsill (perfect environment for mold to cultivate). Id show you the cobwebs in the hallways, dust on the board games and shelves. I would show the messages that show that i requested to meet outside for a safe - socially distanced exchange for the air purifier after i refused it twice, telling her that since she painted her house that day she should probably keep her personal air purifier. She insisted we talked then about the issue. Lies lies lies - Zero responsibility taken - honestly the response below only strengthens my point. She will go to any length to deny and lie about what happened. I hope google sees this and requests screen shots - she is lying about the entire confrontation in her response below. She did not refund me - she only wanted to refund 1 of 2 nights - airbnb did. I didnt know the properties nickname was “the racoon shanty” as the street was recently changed from “Coon St”. Classy. The definition of shanty is: a small, crudely built shack. Book at your own risk - cheers

Would share my full experience, but it seems they always have a response as to why they were not in the wrong. Very disappointed. Poor communication and bad experience with "racing" (their words) other perspective renters to get a property despite applying several days prior to them. Avoid.

Terrible. Worst company Inhave dealt with. The woman Stephanie said she would email the info about a property I was interested in. In fact, she never sent the email at all. After setting up an appointment to view the apartment on a sunday afternoon nobody showed up. Nobody answers their phones; office or cell. Terrible and unprofessional. Avoid.
