This beach/pier was the pick up point of the mimosa cruise tour we reserved for the day. There was plenty of street parking available at the time we arrived, Since we got there early, we got a table at the beach and enjoyed our takeaway breakfast right there. It was a beautiful area that you could swim/picnic/take a nap. We even spotted they are preparing a wedding ceremony right there!

Very cool pebble beach. Dog friendly, I have a. Small dog and she is reactive so I've seen a lot of well trained dogs on leashes there. Went at the start of August and perfect weather!!!!Restrooms: Okay restrooms.Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly

A cozy and majestic picnic spot complete with tables, direct access to the beach and clean restrooms. There is steakhouse next door so it's difficult to find parking. We spent a week right outside of Tahoe city. This beach was about 20 min away, but worth every minute! It was beautiful, the only downside was the boat traffic at the dock, it was crazy busy on Saturday. Overall, I'd highly recommend this beach for dog lovers!Restrooms: Great to have a restroom at the top of the beach! So convenient. Dog-friendliness: We took our pups and they had a blast! The rocks hurt their paws after a few days, but nothing some R&R couldn't fix! There's grass for potty breaks.

The fresh air was delightful, and conveniently, it is located right next to a restaurant. So, if you're feeling hungry and in need of something to eat, you can easily order your food. In case the restaurant is expensive, there are other stores across the street as well.Restrooms: Theres a public restroomsDog-friendliness: The dogs are very friendly.they can be off-leash and swim on the lake. If your dog likes to play fetch, there's a small patch of grass as well.

If you have a fido, they're not allowed at Garwood Bar & Grill, however, you CAN togo delicious drinks to enjoy at this beach! Quiet, nice dock, gorgeous views 24/7/365, and even has restroom. Always love and will coming back!

Beautiful beach & picnic area to hang out for the day, or catch a sunset. They have picnic tables, 4 or 5 bathroom stalls with stinks decently maintained, both lawn or sand to park your chairs, and some benches. Pretty big parking lot though it’s very busy with the restaurant.

We came here because it was a dog friendly beach and it wasn't that crowded at all around 5pm. After researching, I realized dogs need to be leashed the whole time. I read a review on here that said dogs can be off leash but I don't think that is the case. We did mistakenly have our dog off leash to swim in the lake so I do feel bad about that but just FYI for future visitors, dogs need to be on the leash. If your dog isn't water crazy like mine where she needs to be swimming in the water, this is the perfect place. Parking was a little iffy but we found it pretty quick.

Great place first thing in the day. Excellent for sunrise and playful fun through the middle of day. As sun goes down it'll be a little chilly but not too bad. Handicap parking plus restaurant and bar next door.
