Great, helpful service. Lots of baby chicks. You can even buy a chicken coop. Good selection of bird seeds, poultry feeds, natural pet foods, pet equipment. Straw bales for gardening or whatever. Really nice folks. I enjoyed my visit and found what I needed. they delivered 10 bales of rice straw to me and put the bales exactly where I wanted them. Great service.

Western Feed & Supply in Carmichael CA. I have been shopping here for the last couple years mainly for bird food but they have all kinds of pet food, & food for farm animals in addition to farm supplies.They have the best millet sprays that must come from a farm because they are always fresh & the sprays are full. Today when I stopped in, the young woman asked if I needed any Christmas cards (which I did) and invited me to take some that were on the counter for free! There were some very pretty ones so I took a few. She also asked if I was interested in a Calander for 2021 (which I was) and gave me a Beautiful Avian Calander for free as well. The photos are of fancy chickens. and are quite pretty .Some of the photos are of other birds such as Quail. All are very good looking. I love this Calander! She gave me a couple more when I told her I have a fried who rescues parrots & another friend who travels around the world to find exotic birds. The employees are very helpful & knowledgeable. I thought it was time to take a moment & let them know they are doing a great job & are appreciated 🙂. Thank you Western Feed of Carmichael.

Western Feed is a great mom and pop feed shop, they carry everything from cat food,dog food, bird food, chicken food, rabbit food, horses food and all the supplies for every one of those animals that you'd ever need and they're very reasonable prices my family has been going to this same business since the 1970s. And I go now to buy great high quality dog food for my husky.

Very sweet staff. Great service, and efficient. Will gently load purchases for you. Staff are not wearing masks, which makes sense, as it is no longer required. Staff are also kind to customers whether the customer is wearing a mask or not, which shows great consideration. Good price for bale of hay, and they carry a sizeable selection of chicks.

Decent service and prices. Helpful to be open Sundays. Over enthusiastic young man who helped load the straw bale into our six scratched the ceiling and closed a door and the hitch but we didn't ask him to. We had to open the car back up immediately. A little more respect for other people's cars and space is in order. Good otherwise. Nobody wore masks but I didn't care. Other customers might have been turned off by that.

These guys are great! I called ahead to verify hours and they we informative and welcoming. I had some questions about prices and inventory. Though it was the middle of the day, they gave me all the information I needed.I headed over after work and they took care of my needs without any hitches. On top of that, I asked about products they don't carry and they were fast and friendly in letting me know where to look. Again, these guys are great!

Nice feed store in the middle of Carmichael. Staff is helpful, and they will load your purchases into your vehicle for you. We always get our chicken scratch there , but the specialty items like mealworms are very pricey.

I have been going here for over a year. Love this place! Staff are on it the second you walk in, very welcoming and very nice. I buy orchard grass here for my guinea pigs and price is very affordable. They also carry the hay to your car. I highly recommend Western Feed & Pet Supply. They are AMAZING!

Drove to this store for chicks today, hands down the best customer service I have had in quite some time. From the phone call, to the picking chicks out, to the feed to the car, super friendly. We will drive the extra miles to continue to shop at this store. Highly recommended!

I buy my dog and cat food here because they have what I want for my pets. I don't usually get anything else because everything costs more here. Limited variety too. Helpful staff. UPDATE: it's been more than a year since I've been in this store. I won't shop there anymore. The prices are way too high and not competitive. The staff had remained friendly but the management did not. From four stars to only one. I will not go back.

Love them, but lately seem to be having supplier issues for the Diamond Natural Skin and Coat Salmon flavor Dog foods getting the 30-40lbs. Bags. Can get the more expensive 15lbs. Bags. I have special ordered several times yet still can't seem to get it in.

Amazing customer service. I ordered 20 bales of straw to use in some recently constructed raised beds. Not only did they deliver for a nominal fee, but they actually dragged them from my driveway to the back of my extremely large yard and put them in my raised beds and did not charge extra. I had been considering employing the help of my son-in-law and nephews, so this was a tremendous help. Far and away more than I expected. Six stars if I could give them. Thank you so much!!

Good place to get pet's shots! The clinic is there (mobile), on certain days. They do a great job. I even got a nice harness for my cat!

Great place. The guy who helped me was very nice and even walked me to my car which he didn't have to. I think he just needed to get away from a terrible customer that was there at the time. Even though this gentleman kept his cool with the customer. The customer was out of hand.

I get my dogs shots done here. Kind and friendly staff. A bit pricey and no coupons anymore. Unsure what happened sadly. It used to be a lot cheaper.

The cashier was so friendly and helpful. We are diving headfirst into owning chickens, and had no idea what to get our feathered friend. She pointed out all of the options, not just those that were the most expensive. We will be return customers, for sure!
