Great location and plenty to do in this shopping center. Vons has a warm and bright vibe. Friendly service šŸ˜Š. The store is clean and stocked. Isiah & Gabriel are nice. They always have a fresh case with meat &seafood. I can't forget about Starbucks the coffee is on point and they get my orders right. When I can't find the new tumblers I will drive from Murrieta to Carlsbad.

It's OK. I like that they actually try to only let dogs in for people with special needs instead of just letting any bored housewife bring their dog into a freaking food establishment. This isn't Petco people! ..but it still happens so here is a picture of a dog licking the meat.I like the staff here a lot, seafood department is next to nothing, produce section is OK, and flowers are decently fresh.

DISGUSTING AND ABLEIST!!!! Beware! Extremely unclean. Iā€™ve seen multiple puppies that werenā€™t old enough to be housebroken in carts and in the produce isle. Iā€™m a disable person who used to work with a psychiatric service dog. When I tried to tell staff about two untrained dogs in the store, they said they couldnā€™t do anything. I explained that under Ada law they can ask two questions. I also explained that they cannot allow dogs in shopping carts as it is a health code violation. This employee walks away mid sentence and ROLLS HER EYES!!! This isnā€™t just gross, itā€™s dangerous. Potentially even fatal. If a legitimate medical alert dog is working and an untrained puppy starts barking at him, the service dog could potentially get distracted and miss an alert. If the dog misses an alert and the handler passes out, they could hit their head and have serious or even fatal injuries. In this case the store would be liable. Other reasons why this isnā€™t ok is because people have allergies, severe fears (service dog handler recognize fears and make sure the other person is ok), and puppies who arenā€™t in anyway trained could have accidents and contaminate food. On top of all that, service dog usually take TWO YEARS to train and cost around 40,000 dollars if program trained. License registration websites are all scams. There is no such thing as a service dog registry or a service dog ID. If an untrained dog attacks a service dog, thousands of dollars and hours of hard work are down the drain. I absolutely hate this establishment and lots of staff members are incredibly rude. Shop somewhere else this place doesnā€™t deserve your business. The puppy in the photo is confirmed to be 14 weeks old and ā€œregisteredā€ online smh.

I had a good experience shopping for my items. It wasn't until I went up to register that I was judged and discriminated by an Asian cashier and a senior bagger, as I approached the cashier she asked me if I wanted bags and I said yes. I told cashier loudly that I'm paying with EBT,so I won't get charged for the bags. EBT is food stamps and I proudly receive this benefit due to my disability. I'm disabled unable to work and I'm on a very tight income from SSI. I'm not ashamed because I worked,I paid taxes, this is something I put into! So for me it's not a handout. I have owned 2 homes ,raised 3 sons, have had a business, have owned a lot of cars etc....so for someone to talk about someone without knowing is rude and unprofessional. I pray that neither of these ladies ever have to be single , disabled and on public assistance of any kind. So sad how judgemental and how some people think they're better than others. Last I remember we all eat and poop the same ā£ļøā£ļø You thought you were being discreet but I heard everything you both said lol I Lord help us šŸ˜‚ lol

Great "on time" prep. The service is pretty good. The only thing I do idn't appreciate being chastised by the store clerk because she couldn't speak good English and didn't understand that grey and silver were the same car color. She also ranted about my telephone number in the app. After I showed her my telephone number was correct, she said she was looking at a different customer.Just could have easily handed me the groceries and said "Thank you". šŸ¤£

Unfriendly people running the store. Nobody smiles or greets the customers. One front end supervisor or manager walked right past me with an apathetic face. I put on my work face when I go to work. I know what's expected of me. My public persona reflects on my employer. These are adults my age and older, not teenagers, no excuses.

Charlotte,I understand you were having a personal conversation with another employee while I stood there waiting for you to begin scanning my items at the register (no greeting by the way, not too big a deal). However, if you have a line, and the customer is ready to be helped, save personal conversations for later. Furthermore, you asked me if I had any other items at %50 off (since you werenā€™t paying attention to what you were scanning) so I didnā€™t understand your question at first which made you seem flustered.Kudos to you, you at least said have a good day (not sure if it was sarcasm though).Work on your customer service skills please and thanx in advance.

Great Vons. Close to my work. The food in the deli is always good. The market is large and they have a decent selection of different food items. There is a pharmacy and a Starbucks coffee shop as well. Their chicken noodle soup is one of the best chicken noodle soup recipes I've ever eaten. I hope they bring it back. The staff are friendly and self checkout makes it line free for the most part. They have everything you would need in the customer service section. There is an electric key cutter & lots of other items like batteries, gift cards, etc. Good spot.

I love this place and the staff. Everyone is usually so helpful and willing to assist you with whatever you need.... except for in the deli and prepared foods section. This is by far the most underwhelming department in this store. The staff is rarely attending the station and if you show up even five minutes before a station is scheduled to close they will refuse service. I will continue to support this Vons seeing as it is literally right next to my house but I really wish they would get this section of the store running properly or at least re-train the staff so that they could provide excellent customer service like they do throughout the rest of the store.

I just wish people smiled more and great you, it's a hit and miss. But I am old school. And believe while standing you should at least learned to do the slight smile and keep it there. Nothing worst than seeing someone who does nit look happy being at work and then when they do have to engage with you they don't really smile and seem happy. Fake it!!. A point of contact is important.

I had a terrible experience at this Vons store. Manager was profoundly rude and I even thought something wrong with her. I went back to the store to ask about the item purchased. The item was one of the deals on this week but was not on their website for some reasons so I couldn't clip a digital coupon. I was going to return it if I didn't get the deal, however, a super helpful casher, Nick, tried to solve problem with the item so I decided to wait for a little longer.He had to call the store manager to do final process to solve the problem. When Nick explained the problem to her, she first negatively said the deal was from last week so that was why I couldn't get the deal, which was wrong. As soon as she realized that the deal was from this week, she changed her mind and started accusing me that I didn't have the app.. I have been using the digital coupons from the von's for at leaset 8 years.. so I have account with them.. As a matter of fact, I had some other items on my list I just added through the vons website on this week. Anyway, because I was hurry I told her to not worry about it just I wanted to return it. And I couldn't believe what she said.. She said she was not worry but wanted to help me. Then why was she giving me a hard time to make me feel so miserable instead of helping me? That was not the first time this manager was giving a hard time to a customer.. When I see her as I enter to this Vons, I feel horrible, and hope I don't have to deal with her. I really hope this company talks or re-trains her. She doesn't act like a manager there.

Shout out to Andrew, a brand new checkout person, who went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. He told me about the savings available with a Von's card, which he obtained for me, and saved me $66! He was efficient and upbeat. It was refreshing to see such nice manners in a young man. :)

Great layout. We miss our Vons in San Marcos. This is our backup store. The bakery is a gem! The cakes are so cute and well decorated. Also, there is a Quest Diagnostics in the store šŸ¤Æ super convenient to get labwork done when you are running errands.

Unfortunately I don't get to visit Vons often because the prices are often much higher than other stores, but on my last several visits I have had a great experience with staff which reminds me why Vons is a good choice.This one in particular has a lot of excellent cashiers and bagging assistance although management pulled my cashier aside twice during my check out without acknowledging my presence. (The cashier apologized profusely).

We went there to buy turkeys, which my mom thought were on sale for everyone who had a Vons card, not only people who had the Vons app got sales price on only one turkey. Luckily there was a young lady behind us that let us use her app to get the turkey cheaper.

Came to grab a few drinks ,sadly Sonya one of the cashiers & she was being completely rude for no reason. Tried snatching my id then after she bagged the drinks and then she threw the bag counter šŸ˜³ I didnt say anything but after I told her I didnā€™t need a receipt she still asked if she should throw it in the trash, then mumbled somethingā€¦.after all that i still tried not to react because i was having a good day but I decided to ask for the manager and it seemed I wasnā€™t the only one that has made a complaint about her attitude and actions! Two other employees said she has a bad attitude, she definitely should not be working as a customer service, id call her names but it wouldnā€™t do it justice of how much of a garbage person she other than that hopefully they get rid of that rotten apple!If youā€™re having a bad day etc take a break or call off , dont treat people that way.Ps we love vons but sonya gots to go

Little concerned, 3 young guys who were supposed to clean carts were NOT. I watched as a dirty cart was returned and they tried to give me the same dirty cart. I prefer to shop where I feel safe. I won't return, leaving public safety to 3 child like employees does not deserve my business.
