The checkout belts are very dirty to the point that I didn’t feel comfortable placing my groceries on it. Cashiers need an attitude adjustment. The store is pretty well stocked up.

I love shopping at Vons they have such a great Deli and fresh Produce department I love being able to put together some great Charcuterie board's and Veggie trays.

Where are the cashier staff never says hello or smiles or says thank you after the purchase. Are they overworked and understand or are they just miserable In their jobs. It is literally every single time I come in. It is too bad because it is close to my house but I am going to start going somewhere else

I always come here to buy grocery. For example, 2.77 per lbs of sirloin steak. The staff is very nice. What I like the most is free coffee ground for 5 my garden. The staff at Vons is much nicer than at Starbucks. I could never get free coffee ground at Starbucks even when I called in. The staffat Starbucks does not seem to care like at Vons.

My visit to Vons was quite short so don't put too much weight on my thoughts. The store was very well stocked. The staff we interacted with were helpful and gave us the impression that they were there to help us. The store was clean. All in all, a nice grocery.

They have great deals when downloading the app. Always check their weekly deals. Have now shopped at Carlsbad, Mira Mesa, and San Diego and can find good deals on all of them.

I love the store! The produce is super fresh and they always have a really good selection. Staff is very friendly. The fish guy is expert! I finally found a good brand of salmon that is super fresh. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it. I don’t buy much deli stuff but even that has been a good experience. The people behind the counter are always friendly and I love their fried chicken LOL

Quality products, a little pricey, how ever, if you have rewards it's almost as inexpensive as StaterBros., BUT higher quality, and I love staters. This particular Vons is very nice, in a nice neighborhood. Fresh bakery products, great deli, and Excellent produce....

The store is clean and kept pretty stocked. There's a manager though that enjoys harassing black people. She prevented me from paying for my son's friends items one time and then tried to shoo me away when I stood near and watched how she was treating my son and his friends. It got better as she tried to prevent me from buying my own son's items since he was part of the group. She assumed the kids (10-14 year olds) all lived across the street in some low income apartments, they do not. Then proceeded to hold them and ask them unnecessary questions with her eyes rolling as they waited for someone's mom to come since their card wasn't scanning. Nobody was trying to steal anything and I offered to pay for their things so they didn't have to wait but she was so rude and disrespectful saying she sees them in there all the time. Talking to me as if I wasn't with them.. yet my son was with them and know every child that was there.

The store is ok - a pretty decent selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, meats, and deli, with ready-made food and sandwiches to order, flowers, and pharmacy. There is also a Starbucks inside. The store is a bit tight - several times I've been stuck as people with mobility devices attemp to navigate tight isles. Cleanliness is definitely not a priority. It is a bit dingy, and the meat department often smells strongly: either rotten meat or bleach. Other than that, it's a grocery store, chances are they will have what you need. The parking lot can get pretty crazy, especially in the afternoons. The combination of a large number of elderly patrons and teens on e-bikes in a tight parking lot sometimes makes for a harrowing experience. Generally, there are lots of teens hanging out in the front of the store, so be mindful of kids on bikes. I also noticed an increase in scammers/panhandlers during the holidays, so beware.Update: almost every time I go there are swarms of kids/teens running through out the store.

Loved the location convenient to hotel we were at. Produce was delicious and we found all of the options we wanted from home.The store has a Starbucks inside and overall a great selection of ready to eat food and drinks like wine.

Ordered the Tres Leches cake from the bakery. I wish I would have taken a photo. It was beautiful. Loaded on top with fresh fruit and delicious and moist! Everyone loved it.

Not sure if it's inflation (we're staggering, Houston!) or their system not connected properly but a couple times we didn't get the advertised membership sticker price and were overcharged. No one checked the shelf either. Sometimes Ralph's has verified savings and lower prices. This Rating's for the overall experience while customer service is still pretty good at this location. Don't really like coming to this location because of the shoppers. Was harrassed by one and yelled at by another. Strange behavior you naively trust either won't happen to you or just doesn't happen at all. One can't go out into society at all nowadays without unsolicited trouble with people. In 2021 a young man behind the Deli case was so rude we had to report him for his behavior, when all we needed and politely inquired about was obtaining a bag for a rotisserie that as usual wouldn't seal and was leaking. Lot and center seem best avoided during peak times. In front of one of the stores one Saturday we saw an older man with a beautiful Frenchie on top of his flatbed cover not even watching this dog who was unleashed. Unbelievable, and in such a beautiful city. Try another Safeway or Von's if you miss the "Yay!" days of reciept recons. As far as the elderly couple then other occasion young man behaving inappropriately we would have called for security. Almost called law enforcement on the guy, who appeared drunk. Maybe avoid this store if it's busy and you're unaccompanied, or at all if sticker shock's intolerable.

Tried to fill an anti-nausea medication for my pregnant wife at the 6951 El Camino Real location. Pharmacist here told me my sick wife has to be there because it could be “fradulent”. Told them they could contact the urgent care we got the script from or I could even video call my wife for them but the pharmacist still refused. I asked if this was Vons policy or her own and she confirmed that this was her own policy. As a person who works in a retail pharmacy I can tell you that this policy makes absolutely no sense. I’ve already contacted Vons corporate and hope that they get this addressed before this pharmacist and her self policies actually hurts someone.

It's a very nice location, friendly staff. I did visit during a busy time. Only 1 checkout was open and it created a long line. I was able to use an express checkout with only 3 items. But felt bad for a few elderly shoppers I saw standing in the long line.

This review is for Vons Pharmacy. It's small inventory and the fact that they don't always answer return calls from the doctor's who place the prescriptions makes this a poor choice for getting what you need consistently. 3 times I've had to jump through hoops and have my prescription resent to another store so I can actually get it. one star review.

I have been routinely using Pick up and go service since covid. my last 3 experiences have been unsatisfactory. This visit my groceries were suppose to be ready by 4pm,, at 345 I was told my groceries had not been shopped and wouldn't be ready, cancelation or doing my own shop were my options, I cancelled. Changing to different grocery store.

The store is well stocked. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store offers upscale products that you cannot find elsewhere. The store has its own wine cellar. Staff were very helpful.

Hallelujah this store being open late (1am)! The staff are always so nice here. I’ve never had a problem with David the cashier (rather harsh comment based on one interaction in my opinion). I once brought back Bolthouse juice w/out a receipt & they gladly exchanged it for another one. Every shopping experience is a pleasant one at this store.

Vons prices are a bit on the high side, but that's made up for by the convenience of their locations. Plus the layout of the store makes it easy to find the items you're looking for. Employees have always been pleasant and very helpful.

I really liked it, they had very fresh produce. I did have a hard time finding the bread isle. The bread is by the bakery which makes sense but I am so used to Albertsons who has a bread isle.

The Carlsbad store is modern, always clean, well stocked and their checkers are the friendliest! I've been coming since the store first opened, I rarely need to go elsewhere. Also downloading and using your Von's special savings app helps to save lots more $$ each week. I find myself stocking up. It actually makes shopping kinda' fun!

Place is clean, staff are friendly but are hard to find when you cannot locate a product. I like the parking that never seems to be congested and the area is safe. Another thing i like is how they don't allow people collecting money for whatever cause that make ya a little uncomfortable to say "Sorry, i have no cash on me" or just ignore them so they won't ask you; is a BIG PLUS for this location. The Vons on El-Camino and the 78 is horrible, this place rocks
