This was my first trip to UnleashedIt was clean organized and they are following all Covid-19 protocols this includes disinfecting between customers and offering hand sanitizer. The staff was very pleasant and even though it's very close to the Christmas.I was able to find the pet playpen I was looking for at a reasonable price. I also found some yummy treats for my new puppy. Luckily they use the same Petco rewards. Winning

I went to Petco Unleashed at Bressi Ranch to buy a special dog treat for my dog’s birthday. In addition to my purchase the manager threw in a dog cookie for his birthday. It was very sweet of her! Nice, well run store and the staff appreciates their customers!

Dog wash stations are open on 3 sides unlike other stores. Easy and actually fun to wash even if you're short. Dog can't get away from a thorough cleaning! Very clean, staff is nice and helpful.

They had a good selection of cat food. More selection of the non-filler cat food. I do not know the lady name with the colors in her hair and the cat shirt. She was great, she helped with cat food information for I could make the best choice for my cat. By the way, my cats loved the food. THANK YOU 😊

Friendly and knowledgeable employees work here! The employees here obviously are animal lovers and they show it! We love the food and toys they carry for our fur baby. We just finished the puppy training class and we highly recommend Rhonda Hensley! She is such a caring dog trainer. Our pup loves her too. Woof!

I love this place. It's a smaller version of Petco, but we take our dogs to wash here. For $10, the dogs climb into a big tub, the shower head is great, and you can adjust the temp of the water. They supply shampoo and conditioner. There is also a blow dryer.The store itself has everything you need for your pet in terms of food and toys. The staff here are very friendly.

This place had plenty of friendly and helpful staff. The options for dog treats we're numerous. They even had the fancy cupcake/peanut butter cup type treats for your pups. I came in looking for some Kong toys and found exactly what I was looking for. This place also offered bathing stations for your furry family members.

It's a cozy lil Petco with very friendly staff who can help you get what you need and get your dog into the dog wash. The dog wash is super easy to use and they have lots of stalls, their snacks are well priced and they offer a free treat as well.

I bought Wellness Core dog food and when I opened the bag that same day, it had maggots inside. I came back to this store to buy him a new bag of food but they were all out. An employee told me they would be back in stock with his food the next day and to come back. Went to the store the next day and they didn’t have his food like I was told. The same employee apologized and called another petco to see if the food would be at another location and then confirmed they had the food in stock and ready for me to pick up. Went to the other petco location and it was not there. My assistance with the employees were great. However, my experience with the company was not. Why was there little white worms in my dogs new food to begin with??

I use to give this store a five star rating. Friendly staff as stated by previous reviewers, like the dog wash, reasonably priced and so close to my home. However, today we experienced a snafu! We walked in with our muddy dog as we had just been to the dog park at 5:35 PM on a Sunday. Sunday hours are posted outside 10 AM-7 PM. Clerk told us they were not accepting any more dogs for wash today. Manager came out and explained that it takes the employees 1 hour to close the dog wash and that they had to punch out of the clock at 7:15 PM sharp. That was completely disappointing. I don't know if I will return. If they don't accept dogs for a wash 1.5 hours before closing, the dog wash hours should be posted too.

Knowledgeable staff, always friendly, not cheap, but it's not a cheap area. Tons of food selections from very high end to good. The do it yourself dog wash is the cheapest around and they maintain it very well.

My family recently relocated from Orange County, so we've had to learn where all the stores are located. As we have four large breed dogs, two that have severe food and environmental allergies, we have to be very careful as to using the specific foods they can tolerate without resulting in a vet visit. I've contacted this location several times in the last month to track down a product we use or one that we want to try for the dogs with allergies. All the staff at this location has been extremely helpful in ensuring I locate the products in their store that I need, plus they are quite knowledgeable on the products when I ask questions. I'm very pleased to have found this wonderful Petco location. - Trigueiro Family

We came here after a long day at the dog beach and were in a tub, giving get Chewie a bath within minutes. It was reasonably priced and the shampoo and conditioner quality was great. I would go again.

I really enjoy taking my doggie to the self-wash stations. On this particular visit, the wait was a bit longer than usual even though there were two empty stations and the one we got was less than clean.

Bressi Ranch in Carlsbad is a great place to live and just minutes from Carlsbad Beach. Unleashed is a great place to take your pups for a 5 star bath. They are friendly,clean,provide the shampoo,conditioner,scrub brushes,a dryer and all this for just $10 any day plus a smile! Great job unleashed. My 2 pups say thank you too!
