They will go back and find you a brand new batch of whatever it is you're looking for if they have it. They are happy to do it.Diane is the beating heart of this place. Make sure you check out with her. We go every week and they know us by name.

I must have missed something... they are overall ok, just don't see any reason come here instead of Ralfs or even stater bro... some items are surely more expensive than others.Maybe I'm missing the special program they have to special group?Anyway, nothing wrong but can't recommend.

I want to tell you that everyone at Trabuco Canyon Smart and Final is very helpful and I shop there a lot. Today I was in Natasha’s line and she really went out of her way to help out a customer ahead of me, despite the fact there were a lot of customers. He wanted a deal that required a coupon off the app but didn’t realize he needed the app. She was extremely fast and efficient in helping him navigate it and getting him his deal. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and how quickly she got it done. 👍🏻👏

Great store. Modern, clean and priced well. Easy access and parking. Download the app for easy coupons and finding sale items. It's has become the only grocery store I go to in addition to Costco. A goto local grocery store. Well stocked and leans on the values. Sorry but price wise Walmart Neighborhood Market beats everyone. I mean by 10-20$ a visit. Always can get my favorites here. If I have a question, staff is extremely helpful. Sadly they close at 10pm, 11pm would be more convenient especially on weekends. They do open early. Restrooms as you face the store in the back, left side corner between bakery and meat/seafood. Clearance items very near the dairy like yogurts. Sometimes whole discounted chicken less than 3$ in refrigerated meats. Some items cheaper at dollar store next door.

Could be much better in customer service.This store’s service manager, "LORRAINE" is terribly unprofessional! This is not just one isolated incident but several times now over a period of time where she has proven herself unable to deal with the most easily resolvable problems and minor issues. Leadership is very weak in this store. She responds inappropriately...interrupts, doesn't listen, becomes hostile and hangs up instead of resolving issues like an adult. Clearly Lorraine is not up to the job! Of all the several grocery stores in this area, Smart & Final has some of the poorest upper management. Products are ok but still not the lowest prices in this area. Produce is pretty good but needs more consistency. I only go here for a few things every now and then. Checkers have improved.

I've resorted to Instacart since COVID. I am a weekly shoppers. I couldn't wait to go out and back to doing my own grocery shopping after everything opened back up. Sadly, I didn't feel welcomed when I brought my own reusable bags. At other stores they will help you bag your groceries even with your reusable bags. I didn't know this policy until all my groceries were scanned to the other side. So there I was trying to bag my stuff and the cashier kept scanning other people's items making it very difficult for me to complete my bagging process. I mean I bought cart full, etc. I resorted back to instacart because maybe covid made people mean.Today was a game changer. I didn't bring my reusable bags, and I missed doing my own shopping. There I was having an eye war with the watermelons. I was craving it. Every time I buy one, its as sandy as the beach in Cancun. Mushy, sandy. I'm hopeless when it comes to picking a good watermelon. David approached me and said tap them. He educated me on the sound and when I got home, I couldn't wait to cut it open. Barely pierced it and juices squirted out. Was so yummy. Thank you David for taking the time to educate me on the fruits and vegetables. I felt like I was at the farmers market. This world needs more Davids! Satisfied Shopper here! We're lucky to have David at our local Smart & Final.

Management is lazy just standing around flirting with other employees while I am trying to get help. And I tried to apply for a job here has been a whole MONTH and NOW they want to start doing the paperwork look if you are NOT hiring STOP playing coy. I definitely do NOT want to work here anymore if management is THIS BAD I could only imagine working here is drama.

This is a very well maintained store. Good selection of produce, meat and seafood. Personnel were friendly and courteous. Check out lanes were electronic ly monitored and announced which lane was available. Keep up the good work S&F RSM.

It's a great, clean place to get relatively well priced produce and meats as far as Rancho Santa Margarita goes.If you can't find a good weekly deal at any of the other grocery stores, I'd get everything else from here.

This is a great store, everyone is super nice, it's clean and always sanitized. One cashier though, she is always making us laugh, Liz is awesome always smiling and sharing something. Thanks Liz for always making us laugh, always nice to see when she is our cashier.

The management seems stuck up, the employees are nice. The store does stink when they mop. The foods they have out are always about to expire 3-5 days later, the vegetables never look fresh.

Friendly place. Good low prices. Delicious Rostisery chicken, meats, sea food. Tortillas, breads, Vegetables, fruits nuts. Dry fruit cereals drinks you name is here. I love it and is close to home. It is great!

The prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. The prices are cheaper than the surrounding grocery stores like The Pavilion and Ralph’s. If you haven’t tried the Oven Roasted Chicken, I highly suggest you try it.

Local RSM Smart n Final. Not the cheapest store, but they have decent stock and great customer service. Love the pre-cooked chickens here. Buy on sale or buyer beware for price.

Only one checker Saturday 10:30 am. Would not let me unload cart until customer checking out left even though I was on distance mark. Checker said they only need one checker on Saturdays. How can they stay in business with one checker? I only went for frozen churros that Ralphs doesn't stock.

Mr. Smart and Mr. Final knew what they were doing when they made this awesome store! Everything is bulk and everything is awesome. The veggies are fresh and the meat is well priced.

Lots of good deals here without a club membership.. make sure to pay attention though cause some items you can get cheaper elsewhere.. all in all a fantastic bargain though.. some prices were surprisingly low!

Credit cards not working, so they let people come into the store, shop, wait in line, and then tell them “tough luck”. Seems to be a recurring problem, I have never had it happen at another grocery store, but this place is different.

Is fine to pick up a couple of things. Low prices on many items. However checkout usually takes a while as they never have more than 2 lanes open.
