As a regular customer of Home Depot, my recent visit to the Roscoe Boulevard branch left me disheartened and deeply dissatisfied. Upon entering the store to purchase a multimeter, I encountered significant hurdles in finding the right product. An employee named Moe, who shadowed me persistently and provided misinformation, hindered my shopping experience. His misleading guidance and interference not only prolonged my search but also created unnecessary frustration. Furthermore, when seeking assistance with a Milwaukee battery charger, the lack of support from staff, except for one individual, compounded my disappointment. The encounter at the checkout with cashier Brian escalated the dismay, as his disrespectful manner towards my wife's concerns regarding a partially open package was unprofessional and dismissive. This, along with Mo's continued intrusive behavior, exemplified a concerning lack of professionalism and respect for customers.To ensure my feedback is heard and to prompt improvements in customer service, I intend to share my experience across various review platforms, including Yelp, Google Reviews, and other relevant sites. Furthermore, I will compile an email detailing these incidents and provide links to each review posted, which I'll send to the district manager and/or corporate office. It's my hope that this concerted effort will encourage Home Depot to address these systemic issues for the benefit of future customers

I waited for an hour at garden to get help. Two male "customer assistants" passed by and ignored me. They frankly did not want to help. Then a different male stopped and attempted to help me but said the Paver was too rough to touch and left complaining. I waited for another 15 mins before I went to customer service to ask for a manager. There I was greeted with "what do you want, mam". And it went on and on. Needless to say. Lost my service.

AVOID. This Home Depot is a scam and will do anything to take unearned money from you.I've ordered 3 items for in-store and curbside pickup on separate occasions. In all instances, the items turned out to be defective and/or had heavy wear-and-tear. Clearly, they are re-boxing previously returned items that are in poor condition, and hoping that the next customer won't put in the effort to return it. Well here am I to say... Please put in the effort to return it!Also - Their "specialist" for home projects is a LIAR, rude, and will make your project way more complicated than it needs to be.Vanessa Luna, the "specialist" we worked with, marked up a quote and didn't mention it to us on the call. When we caught it and called her back, she blamed another imaginary person for the "typo" and didn't apologize. Rather, she said we could "take it or leave it". She was so focused on how much we would pay versus helping us understand the scope and timeline of the project.Would recommend to avoid this shady Home Depot at all costs.

I purchased my windows through Home Depot, and had a good experience thus far. They’re not installed yet. I also needed new kitchen cabinets and floors throughout the house. The customer service at Home Depot was poor. I made an appointment with the cabinet rep, who spent maybe 20 min with me, wrote some information and a quote down on a piece of paper and sent me on my way. I then went to Lowe’s and had a completely different experience. I ended up purchasing my kitchen at Lowe’s. I contacted Home Depot‘s management to make them aware that they lost a sale and a customer because of poor customer service. The manager, Patricia, told me that she would make it worth my while if I came back as a customer. I told her I needed new floors, could she give me a discount on the floors. She said yes. after some hours of meeting with the flooring person, who was great by the way, having my house measured, so forth, and so on, I was ready to sign the agreement to purchase new floors for my home. I just needed to know what discount I was getting. The discount that was supposed to bring me back as a Home Depot customer was 2%. I ended up purchasing my floors at Lowe’s. I didn’t feel that Home Depot was serious about working with me. And I felt they wasted my time. I won’t be shopping at Canoga Park Home Depot again.

It's a neighborhood store for everything. I love the store, the organization, cleanliness, and the people were very nice and accommodating.I'm glad I could finally find a rod holder so I can put up my curtains.* I love having a garden center next door also.

BE AWARE! Thieves are smashing windows in this store and management can’t even call the police for you, as a Pro I’m very disappointed. They broke my windows and took my tool right next to their pro entrance they said it’s happening every day.DONT GO THERE GO TO LOWES.

Great service! We bought garland and got a fresh Christmas tree from their tree lot. The tree lot attendants was amazing and very helpful. The trees are fresh and beautiful.

Lowes knows they aint got nothing on HOME DEPOT. Never seen so much merchandise well stocked clean and helpful staff.The self scanning check out was amazingly functional and fast. In other words keep up the Great Work Guys and Thank You!!

I would like to take a moment and write my best experience with Karla the Assistance Store manager and Horacio the appliance specialist,,,They were both very helpful and patient on helping us with buying our washer and dryer,It was a little complicated situation because the merchandise was on clearance and we also wanted to get the extended warranty(which was quite a process) but they both handed it so great!!Thank you Karla 🙏 and Horacio!!

I am a caregiver for a loyal Home Depot customer named Barbara Q who is blind so she requested that I write her positive review on her behalf. I drove her an hour away from where we live to pick up several outdoor chair cushions which only your store still had in stock. We worked with Leticia in Customer Service who was really amazing. We took quite a bit of her time to assist us with questions about this purchase and also encouraged and assisted us in purchasing 2 additional items. Leticia was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Overall this store felt friendlier and more neighborly than our local store. You should be very proud of Leticia who’s well-suited to the overall feel of this location. So, thank you and thank her!

At present, the Home Depot is selling aHampton Bay 50 Lumens Solar Black Outdoor LED Landscape Spotlight at $5.52 each. I did an online shopping to buy one to see the result. Surprising, the shipping is free, and I am impressed with its brightness, in addition, no assembly is needed - just peer the plastic (Remove Label For Use) off from the solar panel and turn on the switch on the back of the solar panel.As a result, I just bought more via online shopping. Seeing is believing - the newly installed solar light on the right makes a big difference.Hopefully, the spotlight will last for one year or longer.

although this place is really busy, it was nice to speak with David who help me cut some blinds today. He was very thoughtful and made some great suggestions in choosing which blinds. he was very knowledgeable which i appreciate. (below is an image of the blinds he cut perfectly to fit the dimensions i required)

At 7:59pm I made call to Canoga Park location and ask the employee to check an item if is available at store. She said we are closed. I explained her that is exactly 8pm I understand she just closed the store just now but I just have a simple question. She said her people are too busy for me.She was very rude and unprofessional when I asked her name she hang up. Very sad that people like her are on the customer service world.Will choose different home depot for my future shopping.

The place is nice and people try to be helpful, but I went thru 6-7 people all of who couldn’t answer questions — both mine and other customers’. Questions like, “do you have any metal hanging containers for plants? “ “Do you have earthworms for your garden or vermicomposting?” Or “Do you know when your next shipment of asylums will be in?” — saw several garden associates just give blank looks. And this is after I asked the price of some flowers that were not marked, and although they were the flowers right in front of the cashier, she did not know the price and had to bring the IR reader to tell me the price. (Mind you, they were all friendly, … just that these are pretty standard questions).Asking for some basic plumbing supplies, we got a nice answer of aisle 12, but that did not have the actual plumbing supplies — it was in another aisle. I feel that the associates need a LOT more training… And one guy who we asked about a p-trap with a clean out valve laughed, but couldn’t say if they just don’t exist anymore, or there was some other reason he was laughing….But the place was clean, had a lot of options for what we were looking for, seemed fairly well stocked, and the prices were average.Since we came with a big truck, it was nice that there is ample parking, The women’s restroom was clean and supplied… so that’s a good point too.

I had the most excellent help from a fellow named DJ in the electrical dept. Let me tell you he was on it knew where everything was and knew what it was for. Truely the most excellent time I've ever spent in Home Depot . DJ thank you for your help. Best wishes to you in future ventures, know you should do well.

I was trying all day to talk to someone about a refrigerator, no one was available, finally at late afternoon I was told to come in store. waited for 45 minutes to talk to someone in appliances, it was the dept or store manager. I had same issues at this location before. purchased fridge at Best Buy.

Someone stole an hour and a half worth of shopping here. When I ask two staff members who were standing right next to my shopping cart where's my cart went they both said they didn't see anything. Never again with this place. None of the staff could help me find a hose, they had to Google it. Well I sat there and watched them on their phone googling something that I could do myself faster. Bye bye home Depot hello Lowe's.

Carlos(wouldn't tell me his last name)one of the assistant managers humiliated me by mistaking me for someone else stating that he told me not to come back...i calmly informed him that he was mistaken and that him and i have had zero interaction...he refused to accept the possibility that he was mistaken...in front of his staff i told him that if what he said was true then there would be camera footage to support his claim...embarrassed he then said i was trespassing and to leave or he would call the police...

As I entered The Home Depot, I asked one of the Sales Representative for help and he was glad to assist me, he even notice that I could not find an unoccupied shopping cart and immediately supplied me with one. I was impressed with his kindness as well as his product knowledge and product location. Recently, I went to the Home Depot in Canoga Park to look at ceiling fans and desk lamps. Their selection of fans were fairly good. However, the selection of desk lamps is what impressed me the most. Purchased a touch sensor light that simulates daylight, bright light, and extra bright light. Love it and how the bendable pole allows for adjusted light overhead. Usually, I don't shop at the big brand stores. But, this was a pleasant exveption. The employees were quite attentive to my needs and provided excellent service.I would rate my overall experience an A+++!!
