Some days are better than others. The main problem for me is their produce dept. If you want avocados go in the afternoon. They tend to leave the avocados out overnight and they're usually overly ripe and bruised. I also agree with another person who mentioned the expiration date issue. It happens often. Lastly, I always have to check the UPC code on the product as well as the shelf tag/upc code as they can often be different. Otherwise a nice store with pleasant employees.

Open til 1 and most of the time has my iced coffee and chocolate milk. Only supermarket usually go to because I go at midnight when the lines are very short. A nice place to shop. Oooh they have hot wheels, I like it

Encountered the most unpleasant, rude cashier today. The negative attitude and overall vibe exuding from this woman was disgusting. Should trust my instincts and do all my shopping at Pavillions.Ralph's, bye!

CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE!! This 22333 Sherman Way location has been selling nearly expired and expired food for years, it started during covid. I brought it to the managers attention right when it started, who did not seem surprised at all and simply said "oh, yeah, they're not supposed to do that".Made the mistake of trying this location. Once again expired and a few days shy of expiring l food.Save your money and shop elsewhere.

I came into Ralph's today to pick up a few specialty items that I know this store only carries in Simi Valley.At the very front of the store when I first entered, there was a gigantic $2.99 sign for cherries. Gigantic! I picked a bag of cherries and carried on for a few more items that I came for.When I came up to the checkout, there was a man who had lost his Dr. pepper. He left it in the cart in the parking lot, and he wondered if anybody had returned it. He asked the cashier who directed him to the manager. The manager barely acknowledged him and told him, no Dr. Pepper had been turned in. He immediately turned his back to the man and seemed to care less about his lost Dr. Pepper.I checked out my items and headed to my car. I looked over my bill and noticed that the $2.99lb cherries were $5.99 and my bag of cherries was over $13.00!I went in and saw the same manager (I'm not sure but I was told his name was Jose) and asked him about the price of my cherries. He said, "Did you read the sign?" I replied yes, but I will look again. I came back and said, "Yes, it's pretty obvious, the sign is huge and says $2.99lb." He said, "does it say it's a digital coupon?" I look again and sure enough in very tiny print, it is a digital coupon. He offers no other comment, perhaps to tell me how I could get the digital coupon. So I tell him, I want to return the very pricey cherries. He then tells me to get in the very long line to the cashier to return them. I ask him if he can return them and tells me no, I need to get in the line. Then he turns his back and carries on with his "go back" cart.He was very unfriendly and had no sense of what it is to offer customer service. I rarely go into this store as I prefer the charm and friendly staff at Vons on Alamo, Trader Joe's and Sprouts. It was clear to me that he did not like his job!

Hate shopping here in morning before work since they only have self check out.I had 14 items so I asked the person overseeing to check me out, and she said it's better to bag after ringing everything up and walked away while I pad, so I had to ask her to please bag the items also. I said I don't get paid to do it.

I’ve been going here for nearly 2 years. I always use self check out. Went here to grab a few items today and as I walked out the manager and employee at self check out runs out after me and my bf yelling asking if we paid for our items. The parking lot was full of customers. The manager was a short old Indian woman (I believe her name was Gita or Geeta) and the employee was a tall white old woman, the employee wasn’t even on duty. We say yes we paid and they just stand there and stare at us conversing with each other, my boyfriend offers the receipt and they say it’s fine and walk back inside. They refused to look at the receipt. I walked back inside and offered again and they refused. You can’t even be brown and buy groceries at this store with out someone thinking you’re stealing apparently. Absolutely disgusting and embarrassing that I had to go through this at a store I go to 3 times a week. It felt like she was trying to embarrass or shame us because why not just look at the receipt or maybe apologize for the inconvenience? Don’t go here if you’re a person of color, they might accuse you of stealing.

I love all the fresh produce and the selection at the store. Is just a one stop for all the groceries I need. They even have rotisserie chicken and amazing salads ready to eat for when I don't feel like cooking dinner! I absolutely love this Ralphs!

Understaffed and overpriced. One person in 2 or 3 different areas. No cashiers. Hire more workers, you’re charging customers enough to pay them

Disappointed! Called in to order 50 pieces of chicken from their Deli department and a woman answered put me on hold for over 10 minutes then hung up. I called back 3 times and they kept answering and hanging up. Finally, I spoke to the manager and he had to connect the call and have someone answer me. Very unprofessional and rude! I ended up ordering the chicken from the West Hills Ralph's, they turned out to be polite and pleasant to speak with.

Been going here for over 25 years. Deb is awesome and so is everyone else there. Very friendly and helpful and even when it's busy I usually can get in and out pretty quickly. Keep up the good work!

I love go to this location. Specially in the early morning. And I always find great deals for vegetarian frozen patties , fresh vegetables and fruits. Certainly recommend go Sherman way Ralph's at West Hills.

I have never had an experience like this. My husband and my son went to buy a beer and they asked my husband for an ID and he handed over his consular registration and the cashier named Greg threw it at him and told him that this was not an ID. And what they did was take them out with a weapon. We looked for the manager and he said that he was very busy, he couldn't attend and he didn't want to help us.

I purchase filet mignon steaks for our memorial day party. Spent alot of money even asked the butcher to cut them. Filet Mignon steaks are supposed to be the best, perfect soft round , clean top quality meat. What I received were chunks of meat with grizzle and fat. Not even good enough for a dog. I didnt really look at them when the butcher handed it over , just saw them at home. I thought , this does not look right, but it was too late and I bbq them any ways. It had sooo much grizzle and chewy fat that no one could eat them and we threw them in the trash. Glad we can give you our hard earned money for garbage.

After searching online for pre made holiday meals for my family’s Christmas dinner, we settled on a prime rib dinner bundle and additional sides from Ralph’s at 22333 Sherman Way, Canoga Park, CA 91303 that we ordered online for pick up date December 23, 2021. Pre-made dinner was our best option as my wife just given birth to my second baby and have been having some post parter complications preventing us from cooking.When my parents came to the store for pick up, no one knew about our order. The deli even mentioned that they do not make pre-made meals. We had the email receipt as proof but no one was able to help. They told my mother in law to come back the next day to talk to the manager.We ended up calling the store and Chris( the manager? Lol), eventually got back to us. He stated that he found our order but that they do not fulfill that order at their Ralph’s. He stated that they had called us twice a couple days ago; however, I do not have any missed calls from a local number nor do I have a message. He offered us an alternative of fresh prime rib but we declined as I am not able to cook from scratch due to my condition.Considering the reputation of Ralph’s, this mix up is very surprising. As many customers order online, do better so as to have your online ordering system match the offerings of your local chain.This experience has been very stressful for us. We have had to to scramble to get together some kind Christmas dinner. This experience has left a bad impression on us and we are considering taking our business elsewhere.

It’s 100 plus out side, I go to Ralph’s to buy a water melon. $5.78. I get home and cut it open and clear water runs out. It was so weird!!!! As I opened it and saw that it had been frozen and defrosted. I call the store twice but no one answered. The only thing I’m concerned about is as I was walking out of the store I through my receipt in their trash. It’s too hot out to drive back over to the store now. I will go back tomorrow.What a disappointment…..DiannaPs:I’m not too impressed with Ralph, when I do go there it’s out of convenience..

Worse Ralphs I took my elderly mother and they were so rude to her and me. March 23, 2020. My poor mom has hand arthritis and the cashier when my mom forgot her new Frappuccino from Starbucks she discarded it right away. Did not say anything when she came back to get it. The worse part was that I got charged for a four roll of toilet paper $125.00. I saw this when I got home. I called them no help fromany manager. On March 24, 2020 I came to Ralphs on the next day the manager was rude and all her staff no assistance whatsoever not even the accounting person. They yo-yo me around to different people that would not help. This occurred at 8:30 am. They were not willing to help at all. I will never buy in this store again. I always shop at Ralphs on Devonshire in Chatsworth. They are always nice and professional. I went to them first and they said this always occurs and they wish they could help but since I bought it from them. I had to go to them. I told them about it when I went to Ralphs on Devonshire. They were astounded that I could not get help. I am still resolving this with my bank. I could not count with their help. They send my bank a receipt that was not even mine. They have cameras and they can see all that I purchased. So during this pandemic this store is gauging customers. Please watch Your receipts because they cannot be trusted. Please be aware of your receipts.

This store is the worst. They will speak Spanish about you in your face and deal with you at the same time. The manager looks out for the Hispanic employees weather they are wrong or not. They don’t care and act like you work for them. I had an employee say she doesn’t speak English not to even deal with me. But you work there!? Terrible! Employees are dressed sloppy. Will never shop here again.

The best Ralph's in the West Valley. Friendly, helpful employees and a great selection of products. The entire staff knows my son and I and they greet us almost as old friends every time we walk through the door. Thank you Sherman Way Ralph's!

Horribly rude staff. While I was being rung up, I literally heard the "sales manager" Karen or Karina or something like that laugh with "James" over so and so employee asking to being a cashier, and them both laughing demeaningly at her. Again, while I'm literally standing there just trying to pay for my groceries. You can't wait until customers aren't in earshot to berate and gossip about your own employees???? That does it. From now on I'm only going to the Ralphs on Fallbrook.
