Aquarium city is such an awesome place! This is where I found my passion for sea creatures and reptiles, I adopted many fish from Aquarium City and oh my gosh! They lived for so long! Aquarium City also has awesome decorations and supplies for your fish tank once you get one! And the fish here are so beautiful and funny in their own special ways! Thank you Aquarium City for keeping your fish healthy so that fish lovers can care for them for so long! The last two pictures are of my baby Alfie! I got him not too while ago from Aquarium City and I love him!

I really enjoy stopping by Aquarium City. Sometimes, I don't need to buy supplies, but I will stop by just to look at the fishes. They have a wide selection of fishes. Fresh water, salt water, and accessories for ponds. I find it relaxing. I stopped by on Tuesday because I needed a gold fish for Nowruz.

They ripped me off. I brought in 126 invertebrates and they gave me 20$ in return. I know for a fact they made AT LEAST $150+ off what I brought in. One of the owners was very short with me and shelved me off to another employee and disappeared. I’d also like to add that on that day when I walked around the store there were many tanks with dead and diseased fish.

Kinda disappointed. If I could star rate customer service and the store itself separately I would give the store a 5 but the customer service a 1 or 2. It was my first time coming and I was really stoked, and at first everyone seemed really friendly telling me to let them know if I had questions. After working up the courage to ask, I, of course, was given the “I’m better than you” type attitude where one guy couldn’t even look me in the eye when talking to me. Seems everyone’s friendly till you actually have a question. Then it’s water sample or nothing. Guess I’m not good enough to talk shop. Thanks guys, I’ll take my business somewhere else. Store looks great though. The cat was probably the friendliest.

Great place they have the coolest fishes, the staff are super helpful they helped me pick fishes for my daughter birthday and very informative and patient thank you!

This shop has so much passion behind it. From the minute I entered I was greeted and even instructed where to park for free. Keep in mind it's behind the shop. I had been to this shop years ago and remembered it as one of the best in the San Fernando Valley. Aquarium City can definitely get you going in the right direction if you are new in the fishkeeping hobby. Knowledgeable sales staff answered all my questions and helped me locate the pieces I needed for my aquarium. I wish I lived closer to frequent this shop more often. Great prices and a wide variety of fish, aquariums and supplies.

The shop itself has very nice fish and supplies, but the customer service is such a shame. I arrived a couple minutes before closing. I asked to purchase some goldfish, I was immediately told that they were sick fish. I asked what was wrong with them and they could not tell me before the employee walked away. He told me just so you know we’re closed. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Seriously, I love this shop.The owner is fantastic. I could spend hours talking with him.The staff is always helpful and will ask teammates if they don't know an answer. They don't make it up.All my fish from here do well. Both fresh and saltwater.

This is one of the best aquarium stores out there. The staff takes time with you and really works with you to make sure you succeed. Always quality stock from equipment to live animals. No wonder they have been around this long!

I really like this store. I've been going here for years and they're a bit of a drive but I enjoy saltwater tanks. They have unique stuff. Really cool employees too... Keep up the good work folks!

I absolutely love the level of straightforward care and educational assistance I have received from the employees here. They've been focused in guiding me as a new hobbyist, and have been patient with my learning process. I recently set up my first freshwater aquarium and love all the the plants they had available. An obviously passionate, knowledgeable and hard working team. They've helped me go through the correct steps to cultivate a healthy habitat instead of rushing forward with my naive, and possibly lethal, excitement. Thank you Kevin.

Very bad customer service from multiple employees on different occasions; I won't be going back. The first employee is the tall blonde male. Whenever I ask him for help he acts like I'm inconveniencing him and answers my questions very condescendingly. It's not what he's saying, it's how he's saying it. For Example: I ask him for a feeder mouse and he stares at me with a blank look, doesn't say a word but walks to the back to get one. When I ask him if he has a box for it instead of a paper bag he gives me the same stupid look without a word for a few long moments "No...... We don't have any boxes" he says supercilious. Like I said it's how he says it, and this is an ongoing thing.The next is a balding middle age male with a moderate height. He saw me in need of service while he was on a personal phone call while on the clock. The other employees were understandably busy with other customers so I patiently waited. When he finished with his call he walked towards me and I thought he was going to assist me but just walked by me straight to the back storage area and hid. Luckily a female employee who was busy at the time saw him do this, she got on the intercom and called him out. Someone else ended up helping me out at the end. I only have a half hour lunch so every second counts and Aquarium City wasted it having me wait 5 minutes for someone not to help me

Nice store, has a good variety of saltwater fish. The prices are on the higher side and they don’t take prices off the tanks right away so you may be searching for a coral that isn’t there anymore. The reptile section isn’t good. It’s usually a busy store so you may have to wait to look at certain fish or get help while you’re there.

First of all cool shop you walk in and wow plus the shop cat gives you the warm and fluffy feels . But....  my experience was less than enjoyable. We purchased 6 panda Cory's ands a super red bristle nose plecko and we loved the shop so much the next day we went back.  unfortunately we lost half of our pandas by this point. 😢 we mentioned it to an employee and she gladly replaced the pandas. We also decided to make the investment in a UNS tank we saw the day before. I was in the back of the store near the office when my husband and another employee loaded the tank in the car. We sadly trusted in them and did not double check the tank for defects. When we got home we live an hour away. We noticed chip on two corners of the tank and all the other fish where dead (including replacement). We where totally scammed out of 500 bucks. We called for a possible refund or replacement and where told it was our problem they personally inspected it. It funny because when they where loading the tank in the car the person in charge of the store (I assume) was talking to someone on the phone about how they where loading a very expensive tank.  all he did was go outside look at the tank in the car and walk away.  How is that inspecting it?Do better. And take care of your life stock and your clients. Don't sell a tank you know is broken and can't hold water. 💔

My son loves this place. We cannot afford a lizard at the moment but we make a monthly visit because they have a great selection and my son is able to visit all the cute critters. Staff is nice and welcoming as well.

Boy I am so happy I found this place!!!!!!!!I had gone to Painted Reptile and was encounter by awful customer service. Today I found this place and I am so excited that there’s a much better place with the feeders I need. Amazing staff and the place smells clean and the rodents they sale look heathy and well priced. So glad !!!!!!
