Went to Maddie's in Cambria and the lady there was so friendly and helpful. We were looking for a car seat for our two dogs. They didn't have one there, so she called the store in Templeton and they had some. Drove back to Templeton and found exactly what we wanted. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

Maddie Mae's has everything that your pet needs and if it doesn't they will order it for you. This local, family-owned business truly seeks to serve you and your pet. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly. The store is not for exotic pet owners. Mostly it offers products for dogs and cats.

Store has a nice variety of pet accessories. Friendly staff. Third visit in just a couple of weeks. I have 3 cats and a new dog. Sadly, I purchased a 20.00 "godog" rooster that did not last 5 minutes. The next morning I went to return the defective toy. I was planning to purchase a more expensive toy. The store management would not work with me and sent me to the manufacturer for a replacement to wait 30 days. Why would I want another toy of the same kind? Why will Maddie Mae Pet Pantry not stand behind the products they sell? I will no longer shop for my pets in this store. I feel confident I can find a pet store that offers variety of products and customer service.

Went in to purchase a dress for my female Peke and they were out of her size in the style I wanted. Instead, I purchased Argan oil shampoo, Earth Animal Flea/Tick drops, and a bag of holistic calming tablets. Nice selection for natural products - but they also didn't have a collar in stock to fit my male Peke. The service was most attentive and we all felt welcome - doggy and human.

I've had so many exception customer-service experiences at Maddie Mae's Pet Pantry. They range from attentive and endless patience in assistance with choosing clothing and collars to first-hand knowledge of CBD pain management products for my cancer patient boy. One of my most valuable experiences came in for form of a recommendation of cat food for my 21 year old cat. His weight, energy, vibrancy were all starting to decline this winter. With his age and the colder weather, I expected this was a normal trend. I was running low on my usual cat food. The owner (and staff) have such expert-level knowledge of the products they sell. She recommended Nulo and listed many solid reasons to do so. I had no expectation that his health would change, but he's improving on all levels. I'm certain her recommendation greatly increased the quality of life for my kitty as we're still in the cold season yet he's picking up. I'm so grateful. Thank you!!!!

This is by far the BEST pet store I have ever been to. I came here in distress over the recent diagnosis of my dog. I was looking for new food, supplements, medications, ANYTHING that would help my boy. And that is when I was greeted by the friendly, kind smile of Christy. I had so many questions, and not easy questions. The knowledge and passion that Christy had blew me away. She answered every question and taught me so much, and with great patience. There is no price that I could put on not only the information I received today, but the compassionate and kind heart that it was given in. Christy went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. Thank you so much:)

Friendly staff and owners. Prices are a little to moderately higher than chain pet stores. If you're traveling or vacationing in Cambria, it's convenient to stop in if you forgot Fido or Fifi's leash, toy, ball or treat at home. Stop by anyway to browse, lots to see....
