Went today on a whim. New puppy owner. I was looking at some toys and Agelica helped me pick out some toys for my dog. She helped me with tips on how to help my dogs teething, directed me in the proper harness and let me know that petco offers training. I am excited to book training for my puppy. It’s refreshing to have good customer service and meet people who take their job seriously.

Came in as a result of an Email notice of a sizable discount to regerestered customers. I was impressed at the much better selection of products available since I last visited your store. I will now add Petco as a supplier to my cat's demanding requirements.

Prices are high and lack of animal care standards are visually upsetting especially towards the reptiles. Humidity is consistently low causing poor sheds and snakes to constantly be in water bowl for hydration.

It’s 8:51 pm and I walked up to door 10 minutes ago. Locked. I work late and needed cat food. This is the fifth day I’ve driven here and they’re closed 20 to 15 minutes early.

They sell a good variety of pets, including Chinchillas. I bought my sons bearded dragon here. There are also a good variety of pet items, food, pet furniture, etc. The only thing they do not carry are bearded dragon accessories. Friendly staff that have answered all my questions about pets.

Took my grandson so he could get his cats toys. The isle was closed due to a private session in progress. They should make an area separate from their products so people an shop and not be denied access.

John checking us out was extremely friendly and quick. There was a huge line and he never stopped moving but also made great quick and genuine conversations with every person. 10 out of 10 for this employee!

Not only they don't offer to help while 3 of them are just sitting by the register, but when I came to ask for help they took forever to show. AND when someone showed, they helped someone else and never came back to help with the plants I originally asked help for.

Their employees are absolutely wonderful! Martin took me around the entire store and spent so much time making sure I had what I needed! The lovely girl at the register also gave me a discount for being a first time shopper. Thank you so much for the exceptional service!

I ordered online an item the store had in stock. It was fast and easy. The staff were all friendly and I was in and out in no time. I did a little more shopping while I was in the store as well. Even though the product I purchased wasn’t on display in the store the online description was very accurate and I’m happy with my purchase.

It's been my experience that this store is lacking any real customer service, some of the staff are friendly, but the majority not so much. Seems to have downsized their selection of cat food. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

Ordered a tank for pickup and was supposed we d to get 10% off but it didn't happen online. When I got to the store I was immediately helped and they were able to correct that. Got a 55 gal tank for under 60 bucks thanks to their great tank sale and using my pet perks.

I arrived at the store at 6:55pm and the doors wouldn't open. It wasn't locked, but the automatic doors were turned off. At 6:59pm, I was told the store was closed by an employee. I had to explain that I had been outside for 4 minutes and only needed a flea comb.I am not quite sure why the employees of the store think they close before 7:00pm. But turning away customers 5-10 minutes before the store is closed is horrible.Luckily, they understood that I had been there before 7:00pm and only needed to grab one item really quick. However, I wonder how much money this store has lost by closing early. No wonder online retailers are given much better reviews.

This would be a five star review because the service is always professional and friendly but they have not had bags at the check out stand. So while buying multiple cans of cat food. We have to carry them out to the car. And it’s not fun. I’ve been there for the last three months with the same story. They tell me they are out of bags. Unacceptable and not professional.

Had everything we were looking for, friendly staff ready to help and answer questions. Makayla was very helpful, stopped in the middle of what she was doing to answer our questions about aquariums and fish. We found her to be very knowledgeable even though she said she didn't know much about the aquatic department.

Had a nice supply of most everything except small, soft Kitty blankets. Had very happy, healthy looking kittens for adoption the day I went. All but one employee were helpful. There was one guy that was rude and sarcastic. Might have been the manager... Poor PR and needs to be replaced👎

Most of the time this store is out of what I am looking for and I can find Blue cans of dog food for about a dollar a can cheaper in the same shopping center at Walmart. Again this morning, I show up to a sign that states they will not be opening until noon due to lack of employees. There has always been problems at this store and it does start with management. I will be driving across town from now on to not be disappointed anymore..

This morning my girlfriend and I decided to get our daughter another goldfish. Now we are no goldfish expert but we've had a few growing up, so we have experience taking care of them. We pick out a tank and various "toys" for the fish. When it comes time to picking a fish out, the local, as he referred to himself, "aquatic expert" continued to explain to us how he could not sell us the fish being that we did not have the adequate size tank, as well as a water heater and filter. To which I understood, however the attitude or smugness with which he was lecturing us just didn't sit right. A few weeks earlier my daughter's grandmother took her to purchase a goldfish but she explained a similar story of someone being incredibly rude to them, and it hit us, this was the same employee. I explained to him that I understood the stores policy on who they could sell a fish to but informed him we would not be purchasing anything due to the experience. After we went to petsmart up the road where Jonathan helped us purchase everything we were going to purchase at petco. He also explained how he used to be the manager of petco and how much the store has changed since the shift in management. All in all just not a great experience at petco and I would not recommend petco to anyone local, go to petsmart up the road.
