I have a rather "spicy" Pomeranian~ a bit of an attitude. He has always been well-handled at Happy Dog, and at this point, he's happy to sit and wait while I chat and take care of payment after appt, rather than trying to drag me out by any means possible.Last week I asked for a puppy-cut (for him, not me), which is precise and time-consuming.He looked absolutely fabulous!!! And again, wasn't in a hurry to escape!Thank you Happy Dog ! You're the best 😁

First time I stepped foot in Happy Dog I almost stepped out. The place is a mess. BUT the grooming is top-notch and the staff are amazing. Very kind people. I’ll continue to take my dogs and ignore the dust.

We took our dog in to Happy Dog for a grooming. His right ear was bloody inside. By the time we found a veterinarian his ear was infected. My wife called the people at happy dog and they did say that they do ear plucking. This has become a very expensive dog grooming. Tomorrow we go to a follow up veterinarian. I would not even rate happy dog five stars I would give them -5 stars if I could. I do not recommend this place to anybody who loves their pet. I included a picture of my dogs closed off ear canal due to the swelling and infection.

Happy Dog has been grooming my dog for about a year now. My dog has some health issues and the groomers here are very sensitive to that. My family and I know that when we leave our dog here for grooming she will be safe and well taken care of. Which is everything to us. Thank you guys!

This is a superior dog grooming business. We have experience several different business for our pets though the years. Coming back to Happy Dog is like going home for a home cooked meal! Everything was perfect. JC was as nice and welcoming as he always is! The store is warm and makes you feel good that you are leaving your dog in good hands… after all they can’t talk and they trust us. Pet Smart in Camarillo had scammed us for an undetermined amount of time. Charging us for removing the undercoat and not performing the service. JC spent a crazy amount of time getting Cooper back to half way normal. And has promised to finish on the next visit. Our dog is not over heating and not excessively panting. Be careful who you trust.We love Happy Dog, the crew and of course JC! This is truly the groomer you want for your animal!

The people are friendly enough which is the only reason why I'm rating them at two stars instead of one, but when they trim my dog's nails, they hurt when my dog jumps on me. So I have to take my dog to Petco afterwards. My dog also still had fleas after having been flea dipped, so as always, I have had to take him to Petco. Petco is also hugely cheaper. As such I would recommend Petco over Happy Dog any day of the week.
