We love Beach Dog Fun! My fussy dog can be a bit sensitive and Melissa and the whole staff are always patient and loving with him. I am so thankful for this business and especially their boarding services, as I often need to travel and don’t have anywhere else for my pup can go. Highly recommend this business to other pup parents!

I don’t believe I’ve ever left a public review, but after what I’ve witnessed I had to share so others don’t meet the same fate. This review is for Teresa because I have never encountered a person (who works with dogs!) this hostile and demeaning. I have been taking my dog here for grooming and daycare services ( I haven’t been as much considering our pups are getting sick and this place doesn’t ask for vaccines/it absolutely reeks of urine) My mother called Teresa to confirm our appointment but for the THIRD time they claimed that we “never made the appointment” which is weird to argue because we make all our appointments in person, considering the difficulties we’ve experienced here, but I promise if we went back and reviewed security cam footage we’d be on it three different times clear as day! Teresa continued the conversation by firing nasty remarks and finished her tangent with “I’m not doing anything about this. Go find another groomer” My mother had been looking to Teresa, a working representative for this company, for guidance on rectifying the on going issue of our “missing” appointments but instead we were verbally demeaned and degraded by someone we supported more than graciously. It’s truly disappointing to know that someone working with our fur babies behaves in such a way.

I highly recommend Beach Dog Fun to anyone looking for doggy daycare!I came up to Camarillo for a week of training for a new position in senior living that I just started. I didn't want to leave my Shih Tzu, Puck at home. So I drove up the week before to have her assessed at Beach Dog Fun. I am so glad I did!Puck had the best time going to Beach Dog Fun everyday made new puppy friends and played while I went to work.Everyone who works at Beach Dog is so professional, kind, polite, and they love dogs. It has a great space for dogs to play and lounge. It is clean, easy to get to, great parking and also offers grooming and puppy/dog supplies.When I pulled up in the morning Puck jumped onto my lap to get out of the car as quick as possible to see her friends and play.She even had a bath and had her nails clipped. She came out all fluffy.Thank you team Beach Dog Fun. We really appreciate all your efforts to make the week super enjoyable for Puck and me.

The Best!!!!! I feel so comfortable leaving our cocker spaniel here. They do a fantastic job with the dogs. Also the dogs seem to have a great time playing with each other. Also if you need to go on a trip it's a perfect place to drop off your pup before you go. There is someone on site there 24/7. There's also a video cam so you can see your dog throughout the day, if you want. They do a fantastic job here. I can't say enough great things about this establishment.

BDF is the best doggy daycare in Camarillo. The owners and staff are always so happy and friendly. I am a regular at the Mission Oaks dog park and I noticed that several of the dogs that go to the same dog park also go to BDF for daycare. Everytime I tune in to the camera to see how my dog is doing, she is always next to her bff. I highly recommend BDF as it truly is an excellent place for your dog to gain socialization skills.

Everyone here is so loving and caring. We've been to multiple pet sitters, but this is the first place that has made our two dogs happy. We feel at ease bringing them here even if my family is gone for weeks. And the prices are very reasonable.

Love them. Everyone is so friendly and they are willing to do almost anything to help you and your pet. I was hesitant to bring 1 of my dogs as she is dog aggressive on walks, but they said leave her and see how it goes. Well it went great and she loves going. All the dogs attending are very friendly. There is a camera so you can download the APP. and check in on you fury friend anytime while they are there. My dogs are exhausted when they home and excited to go in the morning.

I cannot praise Melissa and her Beach Dog Fun Family enough. I had to move rather quickly and needed a place for my Shorkie- Deacon Blue to hang out during the day until I got moved in to our new place. The activity space was near my office so I checked them out. I loved how friendly and bright all the employees were. The space was bright and clean, with lots of happy pups at play. You can see what your dog is up to during the day by logging in to their smart phone app with a live feed of the space. I left Deacon for the day and came back to a well played out dog along with a report card with what he did during the day. At the end of the week when the move started to become a little hectic Melissa offered to take care of him over the weekend as well. I was able to move without stressing the little guy out and bring him home. I credit Melissa for helping us make it such a smooth transition!!! Thank you guys so much for taking such great care of him! We love you guys!!

We have been using BDF consistently for almost 2 years now. Mel and her crew are simply amazing. The dogs love their time there and look forward to hanging out with other pups. The space is big, clean, well kept and the staff are friendly. We highly recommend BDF and will continue to use them as we travel every month. Two big wagging tales from our pups, too!

Whenever I leave our mixed rescue Arlo here, I feel confident he is safe and loved. Melissa and the crew take care of the pups with attention to all needs. I have also used for boarding when on vacation, and the rates are fair and care is incomparable.

I bring my French Bulldog here two to three times a week and occasionally the owners puppy sit him when I go on vacations. I've visited other dog day care locations and I'm convinced that Beach Dog Fun (BDF) is the best and safest place for my furry friend to spend the day (also the most reasonably priced). The owners are very friendly and professional. My dog is watched, played with, walked (sometimes 2-3 x's a day), even taught social dog manners, and loved!Believe me, I didn't think day care was the thing to do, but after his first day at BDF, I was convinced after I brought him home and he was pooped! He gets plenty of interaction and after a whole day of it, he is ready for some serious snoozing. In addition, if he needs grooming or a nail trim, there's an excellent groomer two stores down, and he's walked over there. How convenient is that?I really could not have asked for a better day care center to have opened up in Camarillo. I have been more than satisfied with the care that my dog gets. And if my dog could talk, I'm sure he'd give it 5 paw-stars too...

Melissa’s new location for Beach Dog Fun is on Adolfo behind Taco Bell, convenient for anyone in Camarillo who uses Adolfo. I have been doing business with Melissa for several years. My three dogs are an opinionated Yorky, a prim Bichon Frisée and a wacky mixed Jack Russell terrier. They all got very excited when we just pulled in near the place! They all loved Melissa and her staff. They are all hard workers who remember all the dogs names as well as yours. Do you and your smallish dog a favor and check it out. Great prices too.
