Such a friendly and welcoming experience. We absolutely loved the resident wine dog, Rosie. She was such a good girl and pleasure to meet. Our tasting hostess was amazing. She gave us a tour of the production and the wines were truly tasty, especially their petite Syrah.

Stopped by on a Platypus tour and we fell in love with the winery and wine! Both Jeff and David shared their knowledge and expertise and couldn't be kinder. It is a special spot and we look forward to more great wine from them.

We had the most amazing experience here! Teddy was so knowledgeable and made the whole experience very personal. We got to tour where the winemaking happens, we were able to sample lots of wines, and learned lots about the winemaking process. The wine was delicious!! We also loved the resident winery dog, Rosie. We will certainly be back!

This was by far the best experience of my wine trip. I’ve been to vineyards all over the world and Arroyo blew them away. Of course the wine and port was sensational. However, none of that would have even mattered and been tossed in the spittoon if it had not been for Teddy. He puts all sommeliers, historians and travel experts to shame!

Had another great visit to Vincent Arroyo Winery! Sampled probably a dozen great wines and purchased a case to shop home! This is the place to go if you want the full history of winemaking or, if you want to test your knowledge. Was greeted with nearly private tasting with me and my sister, got to see the vineyard and the place where they make the wine. If you want off the beaten path, yet delicious wine, …

Great experience while in Napa. Very friendly staff and great experience. Loved the experience David provided us during our visit. Rosie is a real treat and I won't spoil the surprise, but make sure you make your way in and see Rosie! The wine is definitely a must try. Most impressed with the reserve Cab and left with a bottle of the gourmet dipping olive oil. It is a recipe of Vincent Arroyo and it is quite tasteful. The was $18 and definitely worth it. Got to meet the wine maker himself and take a tour of the machines used to process the grapes. We were pretty lucky to visiting during harvest as we got see Zinfandel & Cabernet grapes! Very exciting visit. Worth the drive and the time spent there. If I visit Napa again, I'll be sure to come back and visit Rosie !

It was my birthday so my husband threw me a surprise gateway in Napa on Sunday. He had previously booked a 12pm at Arroyo Vineyards in Calistoga. The drive through the different vineyards was beautiful. We parked in Calistoga downtown and walked to Vincent Arroyo Vineyards which was a lovely 30min walk. The turn to the Arroyo Vineyards was beautiful with long tall trees and the grape vines all over the place. It was lovely to see they had olive trees along with the grape vines. Our tasting guide for the day was Dave. He was such a warm soul and very knowledgeable about wine making and told us countless stories and tricks which were wonderful. He has started as a wine taster since 10 years old and travelled abroad at 14 to do proper wine tasting. Dave is hands on guy and you could tell how passionate he was about the wine making. The wine tasting itself was complimentary which was nice. While we were trying and sipping generous amounts of 8 different wines, Dave gave us a little tour around the property along with its history. The experience was very personal and very interactive which was nice. We ended up staying for 1.5 hours and the time just flew. We ended up buying their white wine which was so lovely and smooth but didn't pick up any of the reds actually. Wine definitely tastes better if you have some cheese with it to understand how it tastes with food so we weren't sure but our friends loved the petite shiraz which they picked up. Apart from the wine, we loved and bought their estate olive oil (true taste of green olives, just like olive oil in Italy) and their balsamic reduction. Really amazing, must buy the olive oil. Highly recommend this experience.

Hidden gem in Napa Valley! Jeffrey was an amazing guide taking us through the history of the family vineyard and wines. My wife and I (on our honeymoon!) were expecting this to be an average winery in between other highly traveled wineries in the area. To our surprise this was by far our best winery experience!! Great experience, ambiance, and grounds! An hour long scheduled tasting turned into two quick hours of relaxation and enjoyment! Highly recommend!!

Recently visited Vincent Arroyo Winery, while driving from Sonoma to the winery you pass hundreds of other wineries, but let me tell you that it was worth the drive from the moment we arrived our host Jeff was amazing. Even though we were running late for our appointment we were greeted by Jeff and immediately sat and started our tasting. The wines were amazing and Jeff was very knowledgeable about the history and wine making process. We were even able to tour the winery and walk around the vineyard. What is normally a 1hr tasting turned into a 2- 2 1/2 hr experience. I cannot say enough good things about Vincent Arroyo Winery a truly hidden gem in the Napa Valley.

So far the best experience in Napa, if you around you cannot miss to visit and have wine tasting here. You will learn about wine, history and all the steps of wine making.

A very nice winery to visit. Fairly close to downtown. Beautiful location. Wines are quite good. Prices are decent considering the area. Very friendly wine stewards. They will waive the $20 if you buy 3 bottles. Overall I enjoyed my visit. The only reason I don't give a 5 is for the tasting room itself. The walls and ceiling are simply bare plywood. There is no seating, which is concerning for elderly visitors. If they could create a tasting room that is worthy of the quality of their wines, this would be a 5+ place.

We walked up from downtown Calistoga without a reservation (apparently recommended) and Jeffrey very kindly let us do a wine tasting and was quite a fun host! He told us loads of info about the winery and great stories about Tahoe, Berkeley, and driving celebrities around Napa! Thank you Jeffrey!

Lovely vineyard with a small & passionate team at the tasting room. Jeffrey & Dave are stars - do say hello to Rosie the Labrador if you see her! They only do direct sales so come on by if you're in Napa!

My first wine tasting ever, and every tasting since has been unmatched to this place. When my mom and I were looking for wineries I said I didn’t want commercial, I didn’t want the castle experience, I wanted excellent wine, a family owned vineyard, a place that might have a winery dog and a lovely garden—Well I got all of that and more at Vincent Arroyo.Gorgeous. We were served by David who gladly taught us about their dry growing of the grapes (better for the environment too), about different grapes, and taught me how to explain what I do and do not like. Rosy the black lab was the sweetest and even opened the door for us. We were tended to and cared for and we will definitely be returning, not just for the tasting experience but to get more of the excellent wine. Each taste was amazing and there are certainly types of wines I prefer over others.

I’ve known Vince for over 30 years. My wife and I love visiting with him when we’re able to get to Calistoga. Other than being a superb vintner, he’s also a good friend. When we are away from Arroyo Winery, we miss Vince. I’ve had such good times working for and with him on his construction projects. I personally have taken a particular liking to the Rattlesnake Petite Syrah. I’ve had cases of this nectar from 2002 and forward. Hope to visit this fantastic Winery and Friend in the very near future.

This smallish, local, family winery was such a refreshing experience after our first two tours. Our group of four women sat outside under the grape vine trellises while Teddy shared his vast knowledge and provided colorful commentary. Thank you.My favorite winery of our getaway!

Excellent experience! One of our favorites during our recent trip to Napa & Sonoma. It was a tiny, boutique winery that was not commercial or touristy. This was truly a hidden gem. We arrived early for our appointment, but they were so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. They poured us chardonnay and rose to enjoy outside while we waited. I could have spent all day out there (pictured) it was absolutely beautiful! We had an amazing tour, which basically felt like a private tour since it was just our party. Our guide was so down to earth, friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. We all really connected with him, which really made the experience so enjoyable. We all loved how there were 2 dogs on the property and followed us around for our tour. All of the wines were excellent and they allowed us to taste so many! So happy to purchase a variety of wines from this great place and cannot wait to order more in the future. Thanks for such a memorable experience!

The tasting I had here with Jeff was so personable and fun! I called as a solo traveler last minute and he not only for me in last minute, but basically kind of gave me my own private tasting, and for the price ($30), you’re never going to try so many wines! I HIGHLY recommend trying their Balsamic Vinegar and oil mixes as well as they were soooo good! I will be back!

We went to 7 wineries on our trip. Teddy at Vincent Arroyo Winery made this the BEST winery we visited! The wine was equally as fantastic. Thank you for an amazing visit and phenomenal wine! Visit this winery if you come to Calistoga!

Vincent Arroyo it's hard to think of Napa Valley wine without thinking of the greater Arroyo Family they are a class act all the way around. Now in the 2nd generation Adrian and Matt carry on the tradition that Vince championed. From Barrel tastings, to Library wine tastings with paella!! And the winemakers dinner makes them the true Gem of the Napa Valley! You have friends in the wine business it's all about the family stop by enjoy a tasting!

I visited Vincent Arroyo Winery with my wife and son today and we had a wonderful time. The winery is located in Calistoga surrounded by vineyards and mountains. The tasting room is cozy and rustic right in the middle of the cellar sorrounded by barrels. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable, and David gave us a tour of the vineyard. We tasted six different wines for $30.-, the winery specializes in Petite Sirah, which is their signature wine. We loved the rich and complex flavors of the Petite Sirah, especially the 2019. We also enjoyed the Cabernet Sauvignon, the Zinfandel, and the Malbec, which were all very balanced. We had a great experience at the Vincent Arroyo Winery and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves wine. It is one of the best wineries in Napa Valley and it has a lot of history and charm. We will definitely come back again and join their membership program.

It is one of our favorites. The staff is friendly, patient, and relaxed. The petite sirahs are all great, but the new rattlesnake cab was amazing. Come visit and enjoy a piece of the way wines should be enjoyed by one of the pioneers of the area.

Jeff was our host and he was outstanding. He provided enough information about the wines and the history. We bought a case of wine that we will share with our friends in SC.Have you ever thought about doing a virtual wine tasting? I have about 10 friends that I think would enjoy your wines.Keep up the great work.Wishing you a great dayCarolyn and Dan Connors
