Popped in after walking from town to see the geyser. Even though they were not yet open for tours, Stephanie and Emillio (and the pups Stella and Bentley) welcomed us. We enjoyed a wonderful few hours by the vineyard sampling their great wines. We can't wait to receive our purchases from their wine club and reminisce over our visit.

We visited this winery recently and had a great experience! Not only was the wine excellent but our guide - Emilio - was great too. So much knowledge and a clear passion for his families winery. Tedeschi was our favorite of the day. The location is just beautiful and love supporting a smaller, family run business. We tried a great range of wine too. From low tannins to the richer, darker reds. Great range for everyone’s preferences.

I booked Tedeschi back in early August for our group of 7 on a lovely sunny Saturday! An excellent choice must I say so myself ;)First of all, we were running quite late so called twice to make sure they would accommodate our group despite us being late and they were so nice and patient and told us not to worry and just drive safe. Amazing response.When we got there we were greeted with our host (I'm sorry I cannot remember her name) and she escorted us outside and we sat on a nice long bench. She was super nice and super laid back and that was key to having a great experience at Tedeschi. I had called in advance to ask if we could bring any snacks since they don't provide food so she was very nice to make sure we were free to do that. We enjoyed snacking and sipping wine.The property is lovely really. Beautiful views of their vineyard and yet such an intimate experience. Come here if you're sick of the big touristy vineyards and want a more intimate experience. I really want to come back here with our friends and family for more wine tasting. And guess what? Apart from the lovely experience, the wines were actually good! Ive had before not so great experience with good wines or great experience with not so good wines but this had both!Price is 25$ per person for the wine flight or 40$ for only RED wine flight but they wave that off if you buy a bottle of wine which you will definitely end up buying in any case. We all ended up having the 25$ tasting but she was very nice to make us try one from the red list - kudos!Cannot recommend this place high enough. Make a reservation. Bring some snacks and enjoy the wines and the stories of this beautiful vineyard! Go Tedeschi!!!

We had previously done a virtual zoom tasting with Stephanie at Tedeschi and had such a great time that my wife and I planned a visit this past weekend for an in-person tasting. What a great experience! Unlike so many other wineries in the Napa region, our tasting took place looking out onto the vineyard while Ashley, our hostess, poured us tastings and explained each wine. The experience exceeded expectations and we left with some great wine. You need to have a reservation, but totally worth the drive up to Calistoga! All COVID protocols were in place and enforced.

My wife and I are in California on a vacation and we found this small, family-run winery in Calistoga. We called ahead and they set us up for a tour and tasting. Our guide was Amelio, and he was fabulous. We were the only ones there for the late tour, but he spent time explaining the history of the Tedeschi winery, as well as the current methodology of wine-making and tasted a few of their current varietals. This was both educational and inspirational. For all of you wine enthusiasts that come to Napa and experience the big wineries, that is great - it’s just not my thing. For all the rest of you that want to experience a winery - where you meet the family, sip on their wine, and enjoy the small winery experience - this is your place. Thank you Tedeschi Winery for a fabulous experience!

Wow! Every wine we had was soo good! The place was so peaceful, relaxing and just perfect.We went during covid, on a little warm day. It was cooler at this spot than other places in Calistoga. Nature is gorgeous. Stephanie was awesome. She was very attentive to us and made sure our wine tasting was perfect.If you’re looking to have a relaxing and safe wine tasting with very yummy wine you gotta check out this place!Can’t wait to come back for their events and more relaxing afternoons!

Our favorite experience of the day! Casual and comfortable, the down-to-earth vibes at this family home and winery were a perfect match for the warm, breezy day. Stephanie was our host, and we loved her positive, welcoming energy.At only $50/person, this wine tasting is well worth the price. Plus the wine was delicious! I left with a bottle of Gamay and a bottle of Petit Sirah. Definitely get the "some assembly required" cheese and salami plate.I visited with my aunt and adult cousins, and we all agreed that this is a great place to bring your friends and family.

Great family owned winery. Made in small batches, wine is delicious! The owners are great and put a lot of passion behind there wine making. 2018 brothers blend is my favorite. They make a nice desert wine with petite sirah. They started farming there property with black walnut trees and now converted to a winery.

This is the reason we traveled to this area. Emilio was an absolute pleasure to talk with and a wealth of knowledge. I would highly recommend coming here vs somewhere else that is much larger and you can buy at your local distributor. Tedeschi is the is the epitome of Napa and why we came to this region. We came here for a private wine tasting. Initially the person outing wines seemed disinterested and distant. We had an appointment and had paid for the service seeing the amazing reviews and felt a little jilted. But once he realized we wanted to learn more and discuss the wine, he completely changed and started having really engaging conversations about the wine, the barrels, the tastes and the grapes. It turned out to be a really nice experience. The Rosé turned out to be a keeper and the petit Syrah was pretty good too. Overall a nice experience.

What a homey and intimate winery. This winery has a small courtyard with a handful of tables and a few wooden lounge chairs overlooking their vineyard. It is surrounded by trees overcasting which provides plenty of shades. You feel like you're in a family backyard sipping wine and time is irrelevant. We visited during Labor Day weekend and sat at their courtyard for a tasting as well as ordered additional glasses of wine from their menu. Tasting was a bit pricey at $30 for 5 tastings and includes both white and red. Regardless, this was one of the more enjoyable wine tasting experience. Perhaps, it is the unpretentious ambience or the amiable hosts/servers. The hosts/servers were engaging without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable at sharing the winery's history while getting to know you and your preferences to make your experience a personal one.Definitely recommend this winery especially if you're looking for something that is low-key homelike feel. Also, make reservations in advance.

Maui Splash has been for 20 years our favorite wine where we would bring 3 cases home with us each time. Since 2015 something has drastically changed. It is not the same. We are on Maui now and thought we would give it another try. It is so acidic that we had trouble drinking the two bottles we bought. A far cry from the 3 cases that we used to bring home with us each year. Plus the bottles we would drink while on the island.Please start making it like you used to. If you do…. We will be back as customers by the cases. I have to believe that everyone who remembers how it used to be made, feels the same way.

This is a no frills vineyard because it's all about what matters the most..the wine! The wine is delicious, the place is beautiful and rustic and the people are so kind. Emilio, one of the owners, did an amazing job at teaching us their entire process and it really shows how much he loves his job. We will be coming back in the future and will also recommend this family owned vineyard to our friends. Btw, the Calistoga Shuttle will take you here and back for free! Thank you Emilio for an awesome experience!

Nothing but a great experience. We were able to meet with the two brothers Emilio and Mario on our west coast wine tour. Day of, they booked our reservation and took us in like family. Everything about this winery screams authenticity, their traditional handcrafted Italian wines are presented with an unmatched hospitality not often found in bigger wine regions. This family knows their stuff and their hard work shows through all they do.For great wines and a welcoming environment, I would strongly suggest the Tedeschi family winery.

I participated in a virtual wine tasting with a group of friends and Stephanie lead the tasting. She did an excellent job telling us about each wine and about the history of the winery.Stephanie walked us through the property and told us about how the wines were made. She allowed time for questions and told us about the wine clubs and options for having wines shipped.During Covid this was a great virtual escape from the cold Chicago area and a chance to do something with friends from different parts of the county. We all appreciated Stephanie’s help and expertise of the wines. I love all of wines especially the Merlot and the Rose’. We hope to visit in person sometime soon!

If I could give it 10 stars, I would! My friends and I went to 10 wineries and Tedeschi had the best experience by far! We learned about how the grapes are grown while walking through the vines. They showed us the equipment and described the entire process. They are run by the family and use old-world methods for harvesting. The winery has a rustic feel to it and the workers are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable.

Fantastic spot! We came here as part of the calistoga bike shop wine tour. We really loved the family atmosphere. The person serving us was a family member and super friendly, answered all if our million questions. The seating outside by the vineyard was lovely.

This was my favorite winery we visited in Calistoga. You'll be greeted by a gorgeous peacock and a sweet lab. It's a small winery so you'll get an intimate tasting. Their wines are incredible. We loved Mario's Blend and their Cabs. Stephanie pulled out some candied nuts and cheese to pair with the dessert wine. We ended up getting bottles to go and signed up for their wine club. We were on bikes, so Stephanie offered to drop the bottles off at our hotel. Awesome service. Call to make an appointment.

My wife and I love the small, personal atmosphere. Everyone always treats us as family when we visit there twice a year. Wines are incredible and the staff is super friendly and helpful.We are members of several wine clubs, including Tedeschi. If we had to start giving up wine clubs, Tedeschi would be the last one we would give up.

Fantastic small vineyard. I highly recommend visiting here — the tasting takes place in the actual fields in a very small backyard. Our tasting was conducted by Emilio (one of the brothers) who was extremely personable and informative. At one point, he walked us over to the actual vine and helped us to understand the actual quantity of wine produced in relation to the vines themselves. We also got to see some of the very traditional (and Italian) tools that they use to harvest and press the grapes. I found that his knowledge and information about how they shape the plant to be very useful and different from other tastings in the area.Well worth your time — will definitely be back.
