This tasting was very disappointing. We are industry professionals in our mid-20s and our server definitely profiled us as non buyers. She didn’t introduce herself to us and dropped off our wines without describing what we were tasting. She told us the bare minimum - “this wine is this varietal”. That’s it. Nothing about the vineyards or the history of the winery. We are in the industry and love hearing and learning about this stuff… we still wanted to buy something even with the bad service but our server never checked in to let us know that our tastings were taken care of or to ask if we wanted to buy wine. There was an older couple next to us who she spent a ton of time with while she couldn’t care less about us. We were looking forward to this experience and left very disappointed. Would not recommend.

We made a reservation a couple of weeks ago for Romeo, as we live in Calistoga and had been meaning to go since we moved here! The wines we had were great, our favorites were the Ruby Rose (of Petit Verdot) and the Petit Verdot itself. Mary and Lacey were wonderful - and WOW the gardens and flowers were amazing!! We will definitely be back :D

My review is only for the wine tasting... it was just a really bad experience. The woman was just pooring wine, no story behind the wine, not a smile. Tourist attraction basically. Defanetely want to skip.

Fabulous garden patio. Family owned. Excellent Cabinet Sauvigion, and Cabernet Franc, both an incredible wine at a great price.

Disappointing experience. We've been wine tasting in many different regions around the world and this is the most we've ever paid by a mile. We do understand that this is fairly standard for the region but do Americans realise how expensive this is?Wine tastings in the world's best wine regions are usually free or you might pay the equivalent of a few dollars, which is then waived with purchase of ONE bottle. Paying more than you would in Burgundy or Champagne seems crazy. This was also the least engaged service we've ever experienced - we were sat outside in the (admittedly beautiful) gardens where the hostess poured our wine with zero commentary or conversation. When we commented that the Cab Franc was good, we were told "they're all good" as if we'd said something offensive. The Cab Franc really is good and some of the other wines are passable, but we would not recommend this experience for the price.Price for entry: $30

Really nice property and the people are very nice also. The wines are pouring well especially the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Bordeaux blend.

Fantastic engaging staff leading through an awesome assortment of well made, elegant small production wines. No big lable / reputation markups and the proof is in the juice. Couldn't recommend this more.

Mary was soooo sweet, the wine is absolutely fantastic. It is an underrated vineyard the petit Verdot is delicious. Their dog Betsy is so sweet and the ambiance is delightful. This place is a must when visiting the area! They even were so generous and gave us a second free bottle when we purchased a dessert wine. We love Romeo!

Hidden gem! We went to some of the top wineries in the area and this in town winery was absolutely incredible! Alice was such a beautiful soul and the landscaping/hardscaping is breathtaking. Drinking along side the large redwoods here completely embodied our northern California vacation and is an absolute must if visiting from out of town.

Ordered some red wines - a Cab, Petite Verdot. Loved the wines. Very fruity and spicy unlike othe wines I tasted. I had tasted some of these wines in person previously. Dealt with Nate. He was extremely helpful and took care of my order. Nate was friendly and customer service oriented. Had a nice ordering experience by phone.

I placed an order on their Online store. This gets filled at their San Mateo fulfilling location. I had to make a change to my order. They told me a change couldn't be made so they suggested to cancel the order and resubmit the order. I did that. Well, I communicated by email with "Matthew" who told me he'd take care of it and cancel it. Well, I ended up being charged for this order anyway after Matthew canceled it. I called by phone to try to fix it. Matthew does not return phone calls. Finally, after several tries he emails me saying he needed proof I was charged on my credit card. I'd received my credit card bill and on it was the charge. I had never been asked to copy my credit card bill to prove a business charged my credit card. Matthew should not be doing this type of work. He's doing a disservice to Romeo Vineyards and to customers that want to make purchases. Very unprofessional for Matthew to mistreat customers like he did me today.

Romeo Vineyard was pretty amazing. The staff and Emma were very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. We traveled through Napa this week doing several tastings and loved the wine here. Beautiful little garden, great wine. A perfect local spot and a must see. We loved it

Loved our visit. A year later and we are still talking about it and plan on going back. The garden was a beautiful back drop to enjoy our tasting. The wine was perfection. Our hostess was a delight.

We couldn't have been happier with this gem. Nate and Alice were amazing hosts and the wines were extremely good, especially for the price! Had a blast and will savor the bottles we bought!

This enchanting winery, located in the heart of Calistoga town, transports you to a fairytale as you walk through the gates with beautiful archways and flowers, as you walk further in the tasting room awaits with such spectacular choices of reds, rose and white to sample! Knowledgeable staff are on hand to help you if it’s your first time wine tasting or if you are an expert. Food can also be sampled at their many events which bring the community together or cheese and ham plates to accompany your tasting experience. The thing Romeo does best is make your visit feel like you are the only one there, your experience is important to them. Next time you are in Calistoga you need to pop into Romeo vineyards for a truly wonderful relaxing time, whether to taste or enjoy a bottle or glass there is something for you all.

Went in on a rainy Sunday night. Young kid with long hair was rude from the start when we walked in. The young lady who worked their was ready to accept our party of 6 passport. The guy said no as he accepted 4 people, two sets of couples . The girl working could t believe it but the guy was admanet and actually told us we could take our wine outside in the rain. We were appalled that he wouldn’t accept 6 and not 4. I have his picture and I am complaining to Calistoga. I feel so sorry for the other server. She apologized for his actions she was great but he was awful. I have his picture as he refused to give us his name. She said his name was possibly Nick
