We left with six bottles wines, a wealth of information and some purchases from the gift shop. Loved the back story of the French owner as told by our Argentinian hostess. We enjoyed everything about our visit.

The wine was excellent, the cheese and charcuterie were delicious, and Jay-Marie was a very friendly and knowledgeable host. Add to that a unique selection of souvenirs for sale, and it was a wonderfully memorable experience all around. They are also conveniently located in the midst of Calistoga with easy parking, so you can visit the neighboring businesses afterward if you like.

Had such a wonderful time at our tasting at Picayune! The location was fantastic; the boutique charming; the wines delicious and reasonably-priced; and our host, Jane-Marie, knowledgable and unpretentious. And we found out that they offer snacks and wines by the glass.. We'll definitely be back. Fantastic place to stop in, enjoy the lovely patio and great music, and taste/drink some delicious wines. Go! =)

Since we moved to the wine country in 2019, my husband went wine tasting in many places, we selected about 5 wineries to become members. But Picayune is my gem. Starting with the service, Jene Marie and Carly are the most friendly host we've enconter, cozy place, great wine, live music on Fridays. It can't be better than that!

My husband and I tasted wine here. Beautiful tasting room with lots of Native American arts and crafts. The host was friendly. Picayune honors the Priority Wine pass, fyi, check it out if you're not familiar. We bought the 2015 Padlock, a merlot, at a reasonable price!

1) I ordered small plate $7 and paid $35 . Cheese plate was not bad but felt cheated after all.2) Told if you buy 3 bottles of wine ,tasting is free (did not clear one person's charge is free)3) Gave 6 bottles of wine in one bag to my 78 years old husband to carry . Very heavy to carry to Calistoga spa hotel.No concern to their customer.Sorry 😞

We had a great visit with Carly and Claire while in Calistoga recently. Our visit had been shortened due to the threat of fire, however the one day trip up from East Bay was well worth it. Claire's experience and expertise were evident in her choices and the wines are an outstanding value. We were very happy to learn all that we did and to support a woman owned business. if all the meals are like the trip-tip melt, (currently number 19) in the menu, it's a highly recommended experience. imagine great roast beef with great cheese in a hot, but crusty bread. just incredible tasting. the real downside is that on low season, while the closing time is advertised at 6pm, they do tend to close at 5:30, bad if you are really starving from a day at the road.
