The cost of admission is $15, which is a reasonable price for the experience. Be prepared to wait patiently, as it may take up to 2 hours for the next release. While you wait, there are comfortable, covered seats with padding. Consider purchasing a bag of animal feed to give to the goats and alpacas, although they also enjoy eating the grass if you are short on cash. Additionally, don't forget to pay attention to the horses in the back.

What a fun place! The geyser had just gone off when we got there, so we didn't have to wait at all. It was crazy how long it went off. The seating around the geyser is so comfortable. Then we read all the signs, visited the animals, checked out the geology museum, walked the beautiful grounds, took lots of silly pictures. We would definitely go again with a picnic.

Geothermal joy!Fun family or friends outing. The geyser erupts approximately every 90 minutes. While you are waiting, you can relax in many of the comfortable chairs, feed the goats, play bocce ball, enjoy the relaxed surrounds, and read the plaques to learn about geothermal activity. You are allowed to bring in your own food so you can enjoy a picnic lunch while you wait for the geyser.

Pretty interesting facts about Northern California. Great place to pull in prices were great. If you're military, make sure you ask for the discount.

This was an impromptu stop for us and a pretty cool natural wonder to see in person. Lots of seating so get comfortable while waiting for the next explosion to blow if you missed it prior. Or take some time to check out the beautiful well kept grounds and meet the animals while you wait. Once it goes off you have about 5-7 minutes worth of water spouting for plenty of pictures or videos. Worth the wait. It seems someone has to go pee to start and stop it, lol.

It was so amazing to see one of three “old faithful” geysers in the world. Waited for about 40 minutes and there were some fun things to do. It is totally worth the wait.

We got in with discounted admissions from a discount website. With that being said, I would still say to skip this place. Yes, there is a geyser that goes off multiple times a day. They also have some goats and other animals you can look at. It's not much of a petting zoo. They have some seating areas so you can sit while you wait for the geyser to erupt. All the seating is thrashed. Anything with a cushion is beaten or torn. Everything is dirty. Most of the grass is dead. The only truly interesting animals are the wild birds that fly in from time to time. The restrooms are pretty gross. If for some reason your lifelong dream is to see a geyser erupt I guess it might be worthwhile to come here but only if you get a huge discount on the tickets. Even then I would probably suggest skipping it. It's just water coming out of the ground. Turn on your sprinkler at home and watch that for cheaper.

One of the 3 old faithful geysers. It's small and wasn't packed with people. There were nice covered seating areas. Things to do for kids while you waited for the geyser to erupt. There is a petting zoo, small, with goats and llamas. When we first walked in I didn't expect to enjoy it. The guy at the front said the geyser was erupting every 2 hours or so and said the last one had been 90 minutes ago. His prediction was pretty accurate. It erupted for about 7 minutes. It was nice to see and then we went to feed the animals. They sell small bags of feed for $1. Really loved the animals. It was nice and relaxing being there. I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

I strongly recommend this place for families with young kids. Nature lovers should put this in a must see list. Yes , Napa still has volcanic activity. Waiting to see this natural phenomena is thrilling. It's easy to reach if you use Google maps. Only 70 miles north of San Francisco. Huge parking lot which has a food truck. Limited food options available. Several picnic tables are there in the property so bring your family with lunch and have a blast. Very informative, well maintained property.

I honestly enjoyed it. It's a little expensive I think for what's offered. We brought our own food and there aren't really any other attractions besides the geyser itself. I paid almost $50 and I'm not really sure why. I also had to pay to feed the goats, which was the most exciting part. But the whole area is quiet and peaceful and not too big so it felt safe for young kids to play. Unfortunately the geyser did not erupt while we were there but they did give us a free voucher for up to a year so that was cool. I'd love to go back but not at that price. It was a good time out but not worth the money.

I really enjoyed my day at Old Faithful Geyser of California! I didn’t know there was a geyser in California and my partner and I made a day trip to visit! It was very charming with spread out lounge chairs, lounge areas and even swings! They had a small geological museum and cute gift shop! While you wait for the geyser you can feed the goats and walk around the animal farm. Again, lots of lounge areas and picnic tables around grassy areas with fountains, etc. suitable for small or large parties or just a couple! It was more than I was expecting I thought it would just be a small little area. Worth the drive and price was very reasonable! The drive around the area is also beautiful and can stop in St. Helena for some great coffee & foods!

The geysers are a real deal, I am only disappointed that we have to pay such a hefty fee to get here. You see the gyeser every 40+ min.Although they have all these games and picture spot in the area to compensate.

A fun stop with activities other than wine tasting. The set up was really nice as it gave ample space to sit and enjoy the weather. It was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy it, but overall a good stop. The animals and geyser were interesting to see, and it was nice that you could bring your own food for a picnic. The museum wasn’t really anything other than a small room with walls of text and the bathrooms are port a johns, but those were the only negatives.
