We’ve tried both BBQ places in the area and I find they are generally equivalent.Ribs were OK here, Mac N Cheese with pulled pork was dynamite.Would recommend trying both - different profiles but very good stop before you head downtown or up the mountain.

Local Diner, great hamburger, fried chicken and the BBQ is outstanding...and we know our BBQ, bbq is tender, moist, not over cooked or over smoked.. flavor is just right no need to smother with BBQ sauce.. however the BBQ sauce will make you smile. Beer available, probably the best price in town and it's really cold beer.The staff is friendly and always so gracious.Please do miss the little gem. Oh, it's the only place in town that's open early for breakfast outside of the coffee and bakery shops.Parking: Lots and lots of parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly, homemade cookies and browniesAnd there's ice cream too.

Very good food, the smoke on the ribs is immaculate you can really taste it in each bite. The brisket is juicy and delicious and so goes for the pulled pork. When these are served it would be great to get a couple slices of bread to soak up the juice, I guess the sandwich may accomplish that?The sides are all delicious, especially a fan of the macaroni salad. Oh, and the tots are fantastically crispy. I enjoyed sitting outside on a nice partly cloudy day and eating this meal, thanks to the friendly folk here for that. Just giving it a 4 star because without some of the extras like getting some more sauce or the breads, etc. I feel like these are things I see at other bbq spots I would just assume come with the meal.

Got two brisket sandwiches close to closing, maybe it's cause we were close to closing but there were way too many fat pieces in the meat for my liking. Also the bread should have been something else cause it was dry, I wish the sandwich was more balanced between fat and something acidic? Idk it was okay meat but the sandwich wasn't my favorite way to eat it. Finally, the tap water here was really gross, tasted like dirt.

We found this place as a pit stop on our way to our winery stay. We were in a hurry and asked for their quickest grilled sandwich or burger. We got out of there in 10 minutes with a super savory chicken sandwich. So much so that we crave them again! Everyone there was very friendly. This place is a gem on a windy road intersection that we feel lucky to have stumbled on. Enjoy it!

Just got an order of pork ribs , and they are sooooo good. Not everyone who thinks they can do pork ribs can. But these pork ribs best I have had in a very long time highly recommend this place. And I came in shortly before closing, and everyone was so 👍 nice took my order right away and made sure I had everything I needed. Really these ribs are to die for!!!

I went in and got the NY steak sandwich that was on special. It was one of the best BBQ sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The smoke rings around the meat were on point. Meaning the meat was cooked to perfection. From the bread to the sauce 100% worth the experience!

Had a Canadian Client do small private road tour for real estate. They came across this little grill. My client is all about local business appeal. Let me tell you of their experience that as a first timer and their advice. First off I would look into either training the current manager on people skills or looking for a new one. What they saw was the manager critique employees in front of costumers, ignore customers due to her cell phone usage. They saw customers waiting for approx 15 min to order.When it came to ordering food the burgers were really good along with the smoked meat. They do suggest adding ingredients of sauces as they asked if they contained nuts and the manager said "No peanuts" when in actuality they were asking for the nut family group. The coleslaw had no taste literally. Sides are signature to a place like this.These clients plan on making frequent trips here's hoping something is looked at to better this grill. The potential is there provided the staff is team oriented.
