Our family's cherished destination for over a decade. The resort has undergone significant improvements, offering a range of amenities catering to the entire family. From chicken feed and a badminton court to free yoga, bike rentals, and a spa, they've truly created a haven. Our recent stay at the Marchant house was exceptional, especially for my 2-year-old who spent hours joyfully wading in the heated mineral pool. It was especially nice during the recent rainstorms we’ve had. We look forward to returning to this perfect retreat again and again!

Our favorite hot springs resort in Calistoga! My only gripe with this place is how expensive it is. The poor service you get from the staff- for example, there is no concierge and a lot of the staff are clueless around recommendations for wineries, restaurants, etc. They could do a better job of maintaining the pool. We've often found floating junk in it. And I really wish they would have private tubs available, especially for the larger rooms!

Wonderful place - really 1st rate. $500 a night may price us out after this year.(We’ve been going every spring for 30 years).Mud bath is fun - makes you feel like a roasting Hawaiian pig boy, but in a good way. It's fairly kid friendly.

I try to get to Indian Springs at least once a year. I've seen it change and grow over the years. My daughter and I recently enjoyed the spa, the mineral pool, the updated room in the lodge (with the most amazing bed, btw), as well as Sam's Social Club (their on site restaurant). The service staff was wonderful and warm. The massage was one of the best we have ever experienced. The food at the pool was delish and the churros at Sam's Social Club are to die for!!!My only wish is that I could go there every month! Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing couple of days!

If you like swimming/ floating in a big/ beautiful hot spring fed pool, with lots of floats, lounge chairs, and a poolside full service cafe/bar, then you'll love this place as much as we do. Add to this well appointed rooms, beautiful landscaping with bocce ball and shuffle board courts, fire pits, bicycles, and great spa and you have one amazing place to stay.

We stayed in the newly remodeled room that was walking distance from all this resort had to offer. My wife lived the real cream and drip coffee maker in our room. Sam's is a great restaurant. There are lots of dining and breakfast options within a short walk. The warm spring pool is a treat. We went every day! The only negative was the slow internet.

Unfortunately I would give Indian Springs Resort a zero if I could. The resort was fine until a maintenance man entered our room at 9 pm. He entered without permission or a request to come. When we brought the issue to the hotel managers none of them apologized and each of them excused the behavior. Christopher Lee, the director we spoke with, said that they were having hot water issues and were checking all of the rooms in the lodge to confirm there were no issues. We had another room 2 doors down in the lodge and the guests in that room did not see or hear from the maintenance man.So why I ask 1) are you checking at 9 pm? And 2) did the maintenance man not know there was a guest in that room? And 3) if even I believe the excuse Christopher Lee spread, why wasn't our other room disturbed? The hotel is responsible for providing a relaxing, private and safe facility. Unfortunately, we felt the need to move furniture in front of the doors and sleep, if you can call what we got sleep, with the lights on. Yes we would have left immediately since we did not feel safe, but after imbibing at Sam's driving was not an option. It would have been nice for the hotel management to address the seriousness of the concerns. We had our small child at the resort as well and for all we know the hotel has a predator on their staff.Do not stay here!Safety: The hotel is not a safe place. The communication or lack there of between management and staff is concerning. And the management did not properly address concerns of safety and privacy.

Mini paradise! Just 2 hours from Discovery Bay. I needed a little me time, and I got just that. My sister in law gifted me a gift card 2 years ago, and I am kicking myself for taking that long to come here. I looked into it before but I thought it was too pricey to spend a weekend. I'm frugal, not broke. Lol. I just don't like spending money on me. I'm in therapy 🤣 . Anyway, I needed to get away, and since my husband had to go to Florida for work, I decided to book the mud bath and drive down for the day. When I called to book it, everything just seemed to fall into place. Winter special, plus my gift card, what a steal! I decided to spend the night, just me, myself, and I. I booked the mud bath at 2 pm and checked into my room early at 3:30. I relaxed a bit in the room and then went to dinner around 6 pm. at Sam's Social Club. I took a nice walk down and had the most pleasant dinner with the best customer service I have seen in a long time. Shout out to Belen and Jack! RockStars! I had the shishito peppers and marinated olives as an appetizer and ordered a side of the cauliflower along with my entree, which was the pasta of the day, a yummy scampi. All delicious minus the jam in the cauliflower. I finished it off with the most divine churros I have ever had that I took to go and am having by the fire pit as I write this review after swimming in the adult pool. I am the happiest girl tonight. I can't wait for the morning! * Tip, the churros came with cream and caramel on the side that I didn't realize, but it honestly didn't need it. Thank you Indian Springs. I think I fell in love with you.Rooms: Timeless, clean, and relaxing vibesNearby activities: Bike, yoga, spa, hike, chicken feed.....Safety: I felt so safe.Walkability: If you don't mind walking, walk everywhere.Food & drinks: So good!Noteworthy details: Retreat, oasis, paradise. Calm, relaxing.

For $800 a night you’d expect peace and quiet, at least in the room, and the staff to care. Sadly not the case at Indian Springs. The location is great but the experience ends there. Rooms are noisy, like being in a very cheap old apartment. Don’t bother paying extra for the geyser view, it doesn’t really have one, bring your own flip flops, they don’t provide them or slippers and make sure you bring your own tablet if you want to watch a movie, the TVs are old and aren’t smart, umbrellas broken.Staff don’t seem to care about the guests, all very stand-off and have no interest in making it a good experience. All in all would be ok, but not great, at $200 a night but there is no way it is worth what they charge.

DO NOT STAY AT THE CALISTOGA INDIAN SPRINGS SPA AND RESORT AS YOUR SECURITY AND PRIVACY IS NOT A CONCERN FOR THIS ESTABLISHMENT.I am just returned today from Calistoga Indian Springs Resort and Spa. The mud bath and facial were great, however the property management does not care about the people who stay there. Last night about 8:30pm while I was in bed from a long day of spa treatments and a very nice dinner, I heard a heavy pounding on the room to my door and then the door opened!!!!! I didn't get a chance to go to the door or make any comment. Then the door closed and by that time I was at the door and opened the door (probably not my best move) and there was a man asking if the water was hot in my room. I told him that it was and closed the door. By the way, there are NO dead bolt locks on the doors to my room. I will be purchasing a traveling lock to take with me in the future.I immediately called the front desk and told them what happened and was told that there was a problem in my building with no hot water and it was a maintenance person.I told the front desk person I had not called about a water issue and was completely unnerved that what little security the doors to my room had I was very upset. She offered to move me to another room but I told her if this person could get into my existing room what would stop him from coming in to any other room I was in? She agreed. I really wanted to leave but I was at least 2 hours away from home and was very tired from the day. The front desk person said there would be accommodations made and apologized.I ended up pulling furniture in front of the doors (there are 2 doors to the room) and leaving a light on all night. This morning when my group was checking out, the manager didn't/wouldn't/couldn't grasp the seriousness of this situation. One of my friends was 2 doors away from me that no one knocked on her door. The manager/director, Christopher Lee, couldn't be more obtuse in his reaction. He did take off one of my spa services but he was just oblivious to creating a space where one can relax and feel safe in this environment.DO NOT STAY AT THE CALISTOGA INDIAN SPRINGS SPA AND RESORT AS YOUR SECURITY AND PRIVACY IS NOT A CONCERN FOR THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

I’m a Resort Spa professional for over 20 years. My job was to train spa professionals and sell the best products into resort spas. Indian Springs was my favorite resort and escape from stressful road work and sales. When the weather was foggy and cold, nothing was better than visiting this oasis for a warm mud bath, mineral soak and massage. The accommodations are beautifully appointed and cozy. It’s easy to forget how close you are to the city as the ambience here can feel many miles away.Food & drinks: Nearby is the culinary academy where the food is superb, local and fresh, a terrific experience for foodies. Of course there are many wineries and restaurants, but you won’t want to leave the gardens and serenity of Indian Springs

It’s sad that you no longer care about the locals that supported you in the past. Pool was open for a fee and we used it to introduce customers to your hotel, spa and restaurant.Called to book a pool and diner reservation but not open to accept us.My wife called for a spa treatment and never received a call back.I will no longer support your establishment.Alex.

I have now called 6 times this week to make a spa reservation for my son and I and have been sent to voice mail to await a call back. I left messages each time and have not received a call back. The customer service folks must be swamped but Management is not fixing the problem. I have been coming to Indian Springs for years and have never had this problem before.

I went to the spa and had a facial with Patricia. I don’t know what she did to my face but it’s been five days and I still look great!! Patricia is very knowledgeable about the different facials and products they use to correct issues and help with the aging process. I had the hydro facial. I also swam in the pool and used the salt room(loved that too) can’t say enough about the fabulous staff at the resort. Everyone is respectful and well trained. Can’t wait to go back. Barbara.

I stayed for two nights and had a wonderful visit. The property is beautiful and has lots of seating areas and activities for guests to partake in (lawn games, hammocks, fire pits, bikes, play area for kiddos). The pool is the star of the property. I love the addition of the airstream coffee/snack/drinks spot. All the staff was very friendly. I booked the gyser view room and would recommend! It's a spacious room with a patio seating area and nice sized bathroom+shower. I only left the property for a walk around Calistoga and a stop at Calistoga Depot for a few snacks. It's a nice property to get some r&r!

We were told by friends how great this place was. We rented a 2 queen cottage which, with all the taxes and fees, came to more than $1K per night. The cottage had paint chipping on the walls, lines on the walls where furniture had been pushed around and rubbed the paint off, mold and mildew in the bathroom, dust underneath the beds, gnats and flies everywhere. For the amount of money we paid,we could have stayed at a Four Seasons. We all know that Four Seasons is known for their exceptional service, but this place doesn't even come close. At the pool bar, we asked for a cup of ice water and were handed a cup of ice and told to go to the water filling station for the water. Wow, not exactly exceptional service. We ordered food from the restaurant Sam's, which is near the pool, and were told they wouldn't deliver it, we had to go pick it up ourselves. What kind of service is that? It's pretty audacious to charge such high rates when the entire place is rundown and in need of some serious updating, including the pools, and the service is mediocre, at best. This place may have been nice when it first opened, but not anymore. We will not be staying here again; one and done. Don't waste your money, there are plenty of other places to stay.

Fun vacation in Calistoga, watching geysers gushing impressively high, soaking in rejuvenating hot springs, relaxing in a mud spa experience, and enjoying every dish from Sam's Social Club restaurant, all while reading up on Samuel Brannan’s stories.Rooms: Quite, clean and comfortableSafety: Pretty safe and secured in the property.Food & drinks: Sam’s social club is the best restaurant in town. You don’t want to miss it.

My partner and I brought friends from Europe to stay at Indian Springs and the entire experience was wonderful. We stayed in Building 9 and the rooms were spacious and fresh. Each had a patio looking out on lush ground and it was a delight to eat breakfast outside. The pools were perfect, with the hot pool at 101° (just a few degrees cooler than a hot tub) and the cool pool was a very pleasant 84°. We lounged and swam and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We are definitely going back!

We stayed there last weekend and...WOW. We stayed across the street at Docs a couple times but its old and funky but ok. Indian Springs is awesome, an Olympic size pool that is about 100 degrees, excellent restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff, great massage, and the place is cleaner than Disneyland. Easy walking distance to downtown too. I cannot recommend this place enough, we are already planning our next stay.

My husband and I stayed atIndian Springs Inn and everything was perfect! Everyone at the front desk was wonderful! Ladies in the store at the Spa were attentive and helpful! Staff at Sam's were great. Attendants at the silver trailer were amazing and I always got a perfect cup of coffee. The 99 degree Geyser-fed mineral pool was Amazing. Walking distance to Calistoga town.Noteworthy details: Three nights is nearly not enough. Next time it will be a week!

My husband and I stayed at this resort for one week in July and it was spectacular. We left the kids at home and came looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating and peaceful vacation and we got exactly that. We spent some mornings at the spa (beyond wonderful), spend days and evenings in the pool and nights at Sam's Club enjoying food and sipping delicious cocktails and wines (obviously). The peaceful vibe is exactly what we were looking for and I am certain we found our forever escape.Noteworthy details: Amazingly chill vibe.

A great getaway spot if your main focus is to relax, disconnect and not do tons of activities. The Olympic size pool that is fed by the natural geyser is a constant 89-102 degrees, it's very relaxing. Sam's Social Club is an easy go to for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (service is spotty). The rooms are nice, the A/C is solid and the beds are comfortable. Walking downtown is nice, numerous good neighborhoods to walk and a great ice cream shop! We'll definitely be returning.

Do NOT come here for a prenatal massage. After 10 minutes of trying to communicate to the therapist, I felt I had to end the massage. She is clearly untrained in this form of therapy. Upon checking out, I was informed that KEN VALENCIA, the manager would be charging me in full for this massage. The facility is ancient with old rusty pipes exposed during your milk/geyser soaks. Overall not worth the trip. The food is at best mediocre.
